The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 334: Chapter 334: So Arrogant, But Not That Strong After All_1

”Carson Flores, fine, I don’t care about your background. Now that I’m here, how do you want to handle this matter?”

As a Grandmaster, Edgar Harrison’s presence was naturally formidable, his gaze fixed intently on Carson Flores. His tone was casual and inattentive, as if he didn’t take Carson Flores seriously at all.

Carson Flores laughed, ”You sent someone to kidnap me, and now you still have this attitude. Do you really think you can do whatever you want with the Harrison Family backing you up?”

Edgar Harrison looked at Carson Flores’s indifferent demeanor, feeling slightly puzzled inside. Did this person really not fear the Harrison Family at all?

”You wanted to take down my Second River Hall, right? Then you’ll have to beat me first. Otherwise, how can it be considered that you’ve taken down the hall?”

Carson Flores laughed. ”I heard you are a Grandmaster. It seems you are very confident in your strength, so much so that you’re brazenly talking big. Even after committing misdeeds, you still act so righteous...”

Edgar Harrison sneered, ”We’re all Cultivators here. Isn’t it a matter of whose fist is stronger? If you were stronger, then naturally whatever you say is right. If you don’t have the ability, then what does it matter if you’re right?”

”Makes sense!”

Carson Flores smiled and stood up, leaving his phone on the chair. ”Since you think whoever has the bigger fist has the right to speak, let’s just fight and see!”

Edgar Harrison laughed heartily, ”Come on. All this motherly nagging—don’t we end up having to fight anyway?”

Carson Flores smiled faintly and, with a swift movement, appeared right in front of Edgar Harrison.

Edgar Harrison’s pupils suddenly constricted, his eyes flashing with shock and horror.

So fast!

Edgar Harrison sidestepped, assuming a fighting stance, and threw a punch.

”Smack!”

Edgar Harrison’s fist met Carson Flores’s palm with a heavy crack, splintering Gang Qi scattered in all directions, his clothing whipping about. Yet Carson Flores’s figure did not budge, not even his smile changing in the slightest.

”Impossible!”

Edgar Harrison blurted out, his face full of disbelief.

I am a Grandmaster!

Even if his punch was in haste and not full strength, he was still a Grandmaster’s strike. A fake mountain would have burst with such a punch, but Carson Flores hadn’t moved at all!

Carson Flores casually caught his fist and swung it around.

Edgar Harrison’s 170-pound body flipped through the air and crashed onto the ground on the other side, instantly cracking many of the blue floor tiles.

Although Edgar Harrison was protected by Gang Qi and wasn’t too severely hurt, he still felt like he’d been hit by a dull hammer. His vision darkened, almost passing out.

Looking on, Brendan Stein was completely numb.

The boss was actually flipped over!

To be thrown to the ground in such a humiliating manner that resembled child’s play!

Damn, what kind of strength did Carson Flores have? He was manhandling a Grandmaster with the ease of an adult playing with a child.

It’s over!

Today is completely over!

After smashing Edgar Harrison once, Carson Flores let go of his hand, looking down at him, ”It seems your strength isn’t that impressive after all. Continue, come on.”

Edgar Harrison’s face turned a mix of blue and red, rage, shame, and fear evident in his eyes.

The opponent’s strength was too strong!

How could someone so young be so powerful?

Edgar Harrison jumped up, not willing to submit, and charged at Carson Flores once more.

He wouldn’t accept it!

This time, he wanted to exert his full strength and try again!

”Bang!”

Edgar Harrison’s full-force strike once again landed in Carson Flores’s palm, and Carson Flores remained immovable.

It’s over!

Edgar Harrison’s heart chilled, simultaneously confirming the unbelievable suspicion that had just crossed his mind.

Great Grandmaster!

Carson Flores was not just a Grandmaster—he must be a Great Grandmaster!

No Grandmaster could withstand a full-force strike without moving an inch, only a Great Grandmaster who had undergone a qualitative change could do that.

When Carson Flores closed his fingers, catching Edgar Harrison’s fist again, Edgar Harrison’s face turned pale as he despairingly closed his eyes, waiting for another touch with the ground.

The familiar spinning.

The familiar collision.

The familiar dizziness and blurred vision.

This time, the impact was even more severe than the first one. Even with Gang Qi protecting his body, Edgar Harrison couldn’t help but spit out a mouthful of blood.

He forcefully kept himself from fainting, took a deep breath, and looked up at Carson Flores, who had let go again. His eyes now filled with the fear of a stronger opponent.

”Are you a Great Grandmaster?”

Carson Flores smiled, ”You can keep trying if you’d like.”

Keep trying?

Try my ass!

I’m not made of fine iron. How many more hits like that can my body take?

”It was Santino Vasquez—he came to me for help, saying he had something to handle, dealing with a few people. Given his special status, I thought to give him some face, so I lent him some men. Second River Hall has no personal grievance with you. If you want revenge, go find Santino Vasquez.”

This time, Edgar Harrison didn’t hesitate in the slightest, selling out Santino Vasquez completely.

Santino Vasquez?

Carson Flores was stunned; he hadn’t expected this outcome. He subconsciously looked up and met Shirley Miller’s astonished gaze.

Shirley Miller was also shocked, leaning over the railing to ask, ”He kidnapped us, what does he want to do?”

Edgar Harrison shook his head, ”He just said someone had offended him but didn’t elaborate, and I didn’t think it appropriate to ask too much, so I’m not clear on the details either.”

Carson Flores lowered his gaze, his eyes coldly looking down at Edgar Harrison lying on the ground. ”Edgar Harrison, you don’t think that just because you sold out Santino Vasquez, the matter between me and Second River Hall is settled, do you?”
