The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 344: Chapter 344 My Unparalleled Hero Comes Riding on the Wind_1

”Cheers!”

Carson Flores and Samantha Tate sat on the top deck of the yacht, clinking their glasses with joyful expressions in the evening breeze.

The sun, the sea, the sunset, the yacht...

Delicious food, fine wine, and the company of someone you like...

”You’re really amazing, managing to catch so many fish. We can’t even finish them all.”

Carson laughed, ”Just good luck, I guess. Heaven probably didn’t want me to return empty-handed and lose face in front of a beautiful woman.”

Propping her chin with one hand, Samantha smiled gently, ”Brother, whatever you do, you’re always the best!”

Carson picked up a slice of sashimi, put it in his mouth, and joked, ”That’s blind worship!”

Samantha laughed playfully, ”I’m not talking nonsense, by the way, my sister must be very happy now.”

Carson replied with a smile, ”Of course, she’s been a lot more relaxed, smiling more often...”

Samantha chuckled, ”When we get back tomorrow, I’ll go see her.”

”She’s out on business, not in Seashore.”

With an ”Oh,” Samantha didn’t think too much of it, ”She’s really busy. What about you? Now that the Miller Family is finished, does that mean the partnership between you and my sister is coming to an end?”

Carson’s mind was racing, but he answered, ”Should be soon, I suppose. When your sister gets back, we’ll talk it over and decide what to do next.”

Shirley Miller had been gone for a week with no word, approaching the ten days mentioned by Derek Eaton. Carson had a vague premonition that Shirley might not be coming back anytime soon.

Should I take this opportunity to say it?

The perfect time, handsome man, beautiful woman, tonight’s atmosphere, something just seemed naturally meant to happen. Even Carson himself found it unbelievable.

Drink a little more, boost the courage, and just say it!

It was bound to come to this at some point. Keeping it a secret wouldn’t work forever!

Having made up his mind, Carson began drinking more heavily. Samantha watched this and read into it differently, feeling shy but also full of anticipation.

She had come prepared for today’s outing to sea.

Having drunk quite a bit, the mood between the two was increasingly ripe. Just as Carson was gearing up to talk about it, his phone screen suddenly flashed.

Picking up the phone, Carson saw it and his eyebrows slightly furrowed.

Camille Rhodes?

He opened her sent location and found that he wasn’t far from her, about a twenty-minute sea journey away.

Carson sent back a location, asking, ”What’s going on, how did you know I was at sea?”

Camille Rhodes: ”I thought I saw you sailing out today, but I wasn’t sure. I’m on a small cruise ship.”

As it turned out, Camille Rhodes had also wanted to invite him for a sea outing—what a coincidence!

”Are you in danger?”

Camille Rhodes: ”Colson Howard, Lennox Acedvedo, and others are on board. Lennox brought with him the young Sect Master of the Divine Cloudy Sect, Jensen Meadows. Meadows is interested in me and even talked about marrying me. I refused, and during dinner, he tried to drug me stealthily. I caught him, and I’m scared he might force himself on me later. Could you come pick me up? Just sneak over, I’ll get on your boat and we can leave, no need to start a conflict.”

Carson raised an eyebrow; the Divine Cloudy Sect?

”Wait for me.”

Even though the Divine Cloudy Sect indeed had quite the reputation, Carson couldn’t just stand by and do nothing.

Camille Rhodes was his woman after all, having rejected other men only to be drugged by someone else, and now facing the threat of being overpowered?

Carson stood up and said, ”I’ll ask the captain to start the boat, I need to go rescue a friend.”

Samantha was stunned for a moment but didn’t ask any prying questions. Instead, she nodded without hesitation, ”Alright!”

Soon, the yacht started up and headed towards Camille’s location.

Looking at the location on Carson’s phone, Samantha said, ”It doesn’t seem far, what kind of danger is she in?”

Camille would inevitably meet Samantha, so Carson didn’t hide it, ”The young lady of the Rhodes Family. Someone on board has unsavory intentions toward her.”

Samantha’s eyes widened in shock, ”The young lady of the Rhodes Family? Who’s so bold as to wish death upon themselves?”

Carson answered, ”It’s a young Sect Master from a formidable sect. The Rhodes Family is dominant in Seashore, but they don’t hold a candle to this sect.”

”Oh!”

The yacht quickly approached the given location, and from a distance, they could see the cruise ship on the sea with Camille standing at the bow, her hands on the railing, looking out at the sea from afar.

The sea breeze tousled Camille’s hair, which danced in the wind along with her statuesque legs, giving her an almost fairy-like, bewitching charm.

Not far behind Camille, on a lounge chair, Jensen Meadows reclined. He admired her graceful silhouette with a hot and appreciative gaze, as if looking at prey that belonged to him.

In the vast sea, he didn’t believe Camille could escape from his grasp.

What was more important, if the Rhodes Family knew they could form a marriage alliance with the Divine Cloudy Sect, they would be more than happy. Who would refuse such a powerful support?

Lennox Acedvedo smiled, ”It seems like she’s avoiding you.”

Meadows smiled faintly, ”Where could she possibly hide?”

They exchanged glances and laughed simultaneously.

However, at that moment, Camille, who had been poised quietly at the railing like a peaceful fairy, suddenly stood up, her face full of excitement as she waved her hands energetically.

Lennox and Jensen looked at each other, rose to their feet, and their expressions changed in unison.
