The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 317: Chapter 317: Dare to Mess with Me? Courting Death!_1

With things having reached this point, there was no further need for discussion.

No matter how the Miller Family viewed Shirley Miller, she did not care; all she wanted was to seek justice for her parents!

Castiel Martinez, Taylor Johnston, and Shiloh Fitzgerald exchanged glances before raising their hands simultaneously.

”Stick to the plan and act now!”

At the same time, Michael Roth, who had not truly distanced himself, returned to the battlefield with those fifteen experts. The sense of powerlessness they had felt facing the Great Grandmaster had frustrated them deeply. Now, as they unleashed their pent-up energy, their combat power was astonishing.

Knox Miller’s eyes showed despair as he shouted loudly, ”Mr. Nash, if you can’t fulfill our earlier agreement, then I will ask for something else—take Oscar and leave!”

Nash Acedvedo nodded crisply, ”Alright!”

Nash Acedvedo, wary of Derek Eaton, moved like lightning to where Knox and his son were. He grabbed Oscar Miller in an instant and turned to leave.

Since Derek Eaton had already made harsh threats, staying here meant witnessing the downfall of the Miller Family but being unable to do anything more. If that was the case, it was better to leave. Besides, rescuing Oscar Miller could be considered repaying a favor.

Whether it was the experts from the three families or the Grandmasters, no one dared to stop Nash Acedvedo, especially since Oscar Miller might be the heir to the Miller Family, but with the family gone, he was only an insignificant pawn, not worth starting a conflict with Nash Acedvedo over.

Shirley Miller frowned slightly, glanced at Derek Eaton, pursed her lips, and said nothing.

She naturally didn’t want Oscar to escape, but since Derek Eaton had sworn not to harm the Millers, and since Nash Acedvedo had not struck at Carson or her, but merely took one person away, Derek Eaton had no reason to stop him. This was similar to if Nash Acedvedo had tried to kill Carson—Derek Eaton would have intervened to take him away as well.

First, annihilate the Miller Family; as for Oscar, they would find another chance to deal with him later.

With the four families allied against them, it was natural for the Miller Family to not hold out. Knox Miller, in despair, shouted, ”Everyone break out! Do not forget the enmity of this day!”

All the Miller Family disciples and their kept followers charged in all directions like madmen, all too aware that staying would mean certain death. They might not necessarily die, but they would certainly lose their strength, which was the result they were least willing to accept.

Unfortunately, the entire might of the Miller Family had long been thoroughly analyzed by the Fitzgerald Family. Now that the combined forces of the four factions outnumbered the Miller Family by several times, how could the Millers possibly escape?

Eight Grandmasters charged through to the core area with unstoppable momentum, and Peter Miller, along with the other two Grandmasters, split up in three directions. Like arrow-struck rabbits, they sped desperately outward, straining the defenses in an attempt to find a weak spot to break through.

As a Master-level martial artist, as long as they could break through the line of defense and escape, their odds of surviving were greatly increased.

Peter Miller, only one step away from becoming a Great Grandmaster, was beyond compare. Even the combined effort of three Grandmasters could not trap him, and he desperately sought escape like a cornered beast.

Peter Miller blasted away a Grandmaster who blocked his path with a punch, using the force to fly backward and headed directly towards where Derek Eaton was.

Derek Eaton was a Great Grandmaster, and his presence meant that the defenses in his direction would be naturally weaker. No one had expected Peter Miller to head straight for Derek Eaton.

Suddenly realizing the implications, everyone wondered, had Derek Eaton not promised not to strike against members of the Miller Family?

Did this mean that even if Peter Miller ran past him, Derek Eaton wouldn’t lift a finger?

Derek Eaton stood still, hands clasped behind his back, unmoving.

But then Peter Miller suddenly flicked his wrist, and a short knife, seemingly appearing from nowhere, shot towards Shirley Miller with the speed of lightning.

Derek Eaton’s expression changed slightly as he tapped the ground with the tip of his foot, his body shooting out like a shadowy figure. Just as the knife was about to reach Shirley Miller’s face, less than a foot away, he reached out and caught the knife between his fingers.

As Derek Eaton’s figure took flight, Peter Miller accelerated once more, passing the spot where Derek Eaton had been, heading straight toward the seated Carson.

After grabbing the short knife, Derek Eaton turned and saw what was occurring, his face turning pale.

It was a diversion; the tiger had been drawn out of the mountain!

The real target was Carson!

Peter Miller’s eyes, filled with bitterness, stared down at Carson on the ground. It was because of this man that the Miller Family faced extinction today, and now he had one last chance!

Capture Carson!

As long as he could capture Carson, whether it was Shirley Miller, Derek Eaton, or the others from the three families, they would be hesitant to act, and the Miller Family might find a glimmer of hope.

Just as Peter Miller reached Carson and reached for his throat, Carson’s eyes suddenly opened.

Carson’s gaze was calm, even mocking as he looked at Peter Miller.

Carson’s body shifted slightly as he slapped the ground with one hand. Like a ghost, he slipped away, and Peter Miller’s clutching hand found only air.

Peter Miller’s heart sank, and the excitement of a moment ago was replaced by deep disappointment and fear.

He had failed to capture him!

Still unwilling to give up, Peter Miller twisted his body, changing direction to pounce toward Carson again.

However, before he could get close to Carson, a gust of wind could be heard as Derek Eaton appeared at his side and swept a foot across Peter’s behind.

”Dare to play me for a fool, you’re tired of living!”
