Doctor: I Can Synthesize Infinite Entries

Chapter 354: Chapter 236: High-Level Medical College Builder

After the external staff entered, Jin Yihong, Deng Feifei, Zhang Heng, and the others all made their way to Wu Ting’s presentation area.

The VIPs on the dais were also at leisure now, and they began to move about, mingling with the various experts.

Jiang Ming approached his uncle.

”Dean Jiang, Dr. Wu Ting, the one I recommended to you, is also attending this guideline development conference today. Perhaps I should use this break to go get him.”

Scholar Zeng was with Scholar Jiang. Scholar Zeng was very interested in Wu Ting, and he wasn’t one to put on airs.

He saw nothing wrong with his status in going to meet Wu Ting himself, so he clapped Scholar Jiang on the shoulder.

”Keji, come on. Let’s go and meet this young man.”

Scholar Zeng’s enthusiasm surprised Jiang Ming, and also made him a little envious.

’If it weren’t for my uncle’s connections, I wouldn’t even have the chance to meet Scholar Zeng,’ he thought. ’And yet, Wu Ting has Scholar Zeng going to look for him personally.’

Scholar Jiang went along with Scholar Zeng’s suggestion.

”Alright. Jiang Ming, you lead the way. We’ll go meet your colleague and friend together.”

As they went looking for Wu Ting, they found him in the middle of a presentation.

Jiang Ming felt a pang of disappointment. ’I arranged such a great opportunity for him, and now he’s tied up with a presentation.’

’It would be rude to interrupt him, but I can’t just let two renowned scholars stand here waiting for a junior doctor.’

’Besides, countless experts and professors at this conference are waiting for a chance to speak with them. Their time is incredibly valuable.’

’Originally, the best I’d hoped for today was for Scholar Jiang and Wu Ting to meet and exchange a few words of encouragement. With that first introduction made, I could find an opportunity later to bring Wu Ting to Fuwai for a formal visit.’

’Who would’ve thought that, of all the rotten luck, Wu Ting wouldn’t have the time?’

Just as Jiang Ming was wondering how to explain the situation to the two scholars...

Wu Ting reached a crucial point in his presentation.

”Everyone, what I’m presenting today are the results of two research projects.”

”The first is another major breakthrough in the field of curative therapy for Hepatitis B-related primary liver cancer. My research team, in collaboration with multiple platforms, has completed the synthesis of a lead compound for Fengmu Tiada, a new Chinese patent medicine for treating primary liver cancer! It has now successfully entered the preclinical trial phase...”

”I’ve also finished the paper and submitted it to the journal *Cell*. I’ve already received a definitive confirmation from one of the editors, Professor Lin Ning, that it will be published in the next issue.”

As he spoke, Wu Ting took out the printed copies of the paper he had prepared on the table.

Scholar Zeng was taken by surprise to hear that the new drug, Fengmu Tiada, had completed the lead compound screening stage.

He had been following Wu Ting’s research project on curative therapy for Hepatitis B-related primary liver cancer very closely.

He had thought the third phase was merely a prospective concept, never imagining it had already progressed this far.

Completing the lead compound screening meant there was a high probability of it moving to clinical trials—an incredible achievement.

Without a second thought, Scholar Zeng strode forward, picked up a copy of the paper from the table, and began to read.

Initially, Wu Ting’s presentation area hadn’t been very crowded and was drawing little attention. But with Scholar Zeng and Scholar Jiang now stopped there, it instantly became the focus of the entire conference hall.

In particular, most of the senior department heads from the field of hepatobiliary surgery followed Scholar Zeng’s lead, grabbing the prepared papers from the table to read for themselves.

Jiang Ming was flabbergasted. ’Wu Ting secretly finished a paper accepted by *Cell*!’

’This guy is just too prolific with his research papers!’

”Screening of ”Fengmu Tiada” Lead Compounds with Potential Curative Effects on Hepatitis B-Related Primary Liver Cancer Using Molecular Modeling Technology”

Looking at the paper, Zeng Jiu grew more and more impressed as he read.

’The approach to building a pharmacophore model... virtual screening via molecular dynamics models... he even custom-coded a Discovery Studio 3.5-build 3D database tool...’

’To think his programming skills are also this top-tier... The young people these days are truly incredible!’

Clearly, even Zeng Jiu was deeply impressed by Wu Ting’s brand-new virtual screening method, which was hundreds of times more efficient than traditional approaches.

Beyond shortening development time, it, more importantly, saved immense amounts of manpower, materials, and financial resources, making it an excellent case study and template for related research projects!

Of course, beyond the paper’s framework and methodology, the most important thing was the result itself—Fengmu Tiada!

Based on the current lead compound screening results, it offered genuine hope for a cure for Hepatitis B-related primary liver cancer.

”Remarkable, simply remarkable.”

Zeng Jiu unabashedly expressed his profound admiration and delight at the results presented in Wu Ting’s paper.

Ma Mengchao was also drawn by the commotion and came to stand by his mentor’s side. Sensing his teacher’s excitement and palpable joy, he looked at the young man giving the presentation with a newfound sense of admiration.

This was a milestone event in the field of treatment for Hepatitis B-related primary liver cancer.

The caliber and importance of this conference were already very high. But unexpectedly, Wu Ting’s impromptu presentation during the break had pushed the atmosphere of the entire event to a fever pitch.

The experts and professors from the field of hepatobiliary surgery moved about, murmuring to one another in ceaseless praise.

”This Wu Ting is incredible.”

”Come to think of it, the first and second phases of Wu Ting’s team’s treatment protocol for Hepatitis B-related primary liver cancer have already completed their clinical implementation.”
