”Do you know this thing?”

Gu Xi had been looking at the red crystal here for a while. Although the enemy’s Tenshou Pavilion had been blown open with a gap, allowing Gu Xi to see the situation inside, the main road was not yet through, and Gu Xi hadn’t led the army to charge in.

Naturally, he hadn’t touched the red crystal yet and didn’t know what it was.

Seeing Xia Yi’s reaction, Gu Xi knew this was probably something good.

”I’ve seen it, have you heard of the Soul Stone?”

”The one that the Demon Sorcerer binds his life to? I’ve heard there’s some limitation, and now no Demon Sorcerer uses that trick, but this is so big!”

”Oh, not that one, the Demon Sorcerer binding life one needs to cut his own soul, at most it’s only fist-sized.

This Soul Stone is used to seal demons, and afterwards, the demon’s power seeps out, the sealing stone slowly becomes affected, turning into a scarlet stone.

Judging by the size of this stone, it seems to have a level 9 demon sealed inside, but I’m not sure what demon race it is.

However, you’re right, this is a treasure for Demon Sorcerers.

As long as they see this red light, Demon Sorcerers will pounce on it like a dog sees meat.”

But Gu Xi was even more curious, ”Is there a demon body and soul inside? After breaking it, can we make high-tier undead?”

”Not exactly, I mean, Brother Gu, you might not understand the significance of the Soul Stone to us.

The most important thing about this is not the soul inside.

Haven’t I told you, I’ve seen this kind of Soul Stone?

I encountered it in the Guild before, as long as this kind of Soul Stone is brought to an advanced blacksmith, they hit it with a hammer, it’ll definitely yield a piece of Purple Armor, while also acquiring at least fifteen perfect-quality gems.

The size of this one might yield even more gems.”

After hearing this, Gu Xi’s eyes lit up.

Never mind getting a piece of Purple Armor, but perfect-quality gems, those aren’t ordinary gems used for building, they’re gems that can be embedded into various items or weapons.

The number of these embedded items isn’t very many, over fifteen embedded items, is quite a fortune.

Gu Xi glanced at the Soul Stone, then at Xia Yi, and laughed.

”Brother Xia, you know about the Soul Stone, is there a way to make it shine even more?”

Xia Yi was a bit startled, then said, ”I’ve heard that attacks targeting the soul can make the Soul Stone react quite violently, the sound of this reaction can be heard from hundreds of miles away.”

Gu Xi heard this, looked up and told the Death Incarnation.

”Death Dragon Breath!”

The Death Incarnation said nothing more, unleashed a Death Dragon Breath at the Soul Stone.

From the green Dragon Breath came the same screams and wails as that in the Soul Stone.

Meanwhile, the sky instantly turned red, within the red light, a demonic specter with bony wings and holding a greatsword appeared for a full three minutes.

Once the specter disappeared, Gu Xi noticed that a crack had already appeared on the Soul Stone.

He turned to look at Xia Yi, ”Alright, we should prepare, the enemy is about to arrive.”

Xia Yi also nodded, with such a big scene, if the Demon Sorcerers of Cold Leaf City don’t come, their eyeballs could be used as light bulbs.

But Xia Yi was also somewhat worried, if other players from Cold Leaf City come over, would their small force be enough?

Gu Xi ignored this, standing on the Evil Coffin, looking around, as time ticked away, urgent footsteps came from the alley in the distance.

Xia Yi hadn’t yet called his subordinates to stand up, but Gu Xi smiled, ”No worries, they’re allies.”

Xia Yi was startled, looked towards the direction of the footsteps, saw indeed an Undead Corps rushing out from the alley.

This Undead Corps was quite mixed, with all sizes of skeletons, zombies of various colors, plus some miscellaneous existences, making it seem chaotic.

However, Gu Xi could tell their steps were quite orderly, even if rushed, there was no mess.

At least it could be seen that the Undead Mage’s control over these undead was not as casual as that of the undead species.

Upon seeing this corps, Xia Yi glanced over there too, finally shaking his head.

”Unfamiliar, and not recognizing this flag.”

Gu Xi was also a bit speechless, fortunately, at this time, that Undead Mage came to Gu Xi’s front.

”Hello everyone, I didn’t come late, I rushed over as soon as I got the news, my name is Wang Baogen, this is my troop, how do they look, well-trained right?”

Looking at the short-statured Undead Mage, Gu Xi laughed, ”Well-trained, how many troops do you have?”

”Seven hundred... thirty, yes seven hundred thirty-six, all summoned one by one, guaranteed obedient.”

Listening to Wang Baogen, Xia Yi’s eyelids twitched.

Quite a force, Xia Yi himself brought over six hundred soldiers, mainly skeleton soldiers, now Xia Yi could see the state of Wang Baogen’s troops, he believed apart from weaponry, Wang Baogen’s troops didn’t seem inferior in strength to his own.

As for Gu Xi’s strength, not to boast, just Gu Xi’s two hundred zombies could be wiped out in one charge.

Gu Xi’s only showpiece was that Bone Dragon.

With a Bone Dragon, even if you have ten or eight skeleton soldiers, you’d be seen as a legion.

Not to mention Gu Xi discovered such a good thing like the Soul Stone.

Therefore, Xia Yi already had a plan in mind, when the Cold Leaf City’s troops come, he must show himself well.

Not to mention, regarding the battle achievements, he couldn’t let other Undead Mages overshadow him.

Otherwise he wouldn’t dare ask for more spoils.

Thinking of this, Xia Yi raised his hand, ready to have his troops take their positions.

Just then, the first wave of Demon Corps appeared.

The players from Cold Leaf City, upon seeing the cracked Soul Stone, their faces looked as if their own dad had died.

In his eyes, those Undead Mages were committing a big crime.

Such a large Soul Stone was shattered open, knowing that if it were a complete Soul Stone, it would surely yield a Hero Level demon.

For the players of Cold Leaf City, that was a treasure.

The Cold Leaf City players focus more on their subordinate’s combat power, as for the commander’s skill, in their eyes it doesn’t count for much because in demon battles, it seems fine on the surface, but when actually on the battlefield, they might turn around and charge, making it impossible to command anyone.

Seeing such a good Soul Stone turned this way, this Demon Sorcerer was also somewhat enraged.

”Kill them, I want them killed!”
