”Prepare for battle!”

Watching the speed at which the stone golems were flying back, Gu Xi knew that the enemy had arrived.

He decisively stopped the undead corps that were cleaning up the battlefield, ordering them to regroup.

As the undead corps threw down some items from the battlefield and gathered together, Gu Xi also completed the final Soul Summoning Skill, transforming all the corpses on the battlefield into the undead corps.

At this moment, Gu Xi clearly felt the surrounding temperature drop significantly.

Snowflakes began to fall from the sky.

Gu Xi was taken aback, looked up in the direction the stone golems were retreating from, and saw a group of women in kimonos appear there.

These kimono-clad women had long blue or white hair, and when they moved, ice layers appeared on the ground.

As they gathered together, layers of clouds appeared in the sky, from which snowflakes drifted down.

”Snow Girls!”

Gu Xi immediately recognized what kind of enemy this was.

He also noticed that the Snow Girls in front of him had different levels, ranging from Level 4 to Level 6, compared to the previous shark heads.

When united, they could even change the weather.

With a solemn expression, Gu Xi commanded, ”Extract mana!”

All the skeleton mages and witherers stopped their actions and made an extraction gesture toward the Snow Girls.

As the skeleton mages made this gesture, the Snow Girls drifting this way suddenly paused, and the clouds gathered above their heads were interrupted.

Subsequently, the skeleton mages exchanged the extracted mana with each other and finally handed Gu Xi six bottles of miniature magic potions, each capable of replenishing 100 mana.

Although such mana was not much.

But for Gu Xi, it was quite useful.

Just from that brief exchange, Gu Xi realized that the enemy was a magic corps.

”Ghost Squad, take to the skies!”

Under Gu Xi’s command, the Ghost Squad soared into the sky, with a large number of White Impermanences dragging long tongues and holding iron chains flying in the air, the concentrated Yin Qi thicker than the clouds above the Snow Girls.

Their appearance immediately attracted the attention of the Snow Girls, leading them to believe this was Gu Xi’s main force.

Thus, the Snow Girls immediately flew towards the Ghost Squad in the sky, preparing for a head-on battle.

At this time, the skeleton shooter bosses below received orders from Gu Xi.

”Target those with weaker strength, shoot!”

Seeing that the Snow Girls could fly, Gu Xi had already decided that no matter how the battle went, they had to eliminate some enemies, even if it was just one.

The bosses under Gu Xi’s command understood his thinking.

This batch of Snow Girls numbered only about seven hundred, so taking down one meant one less enemy, and naturally, they focused on the weaker ones first.

Thus, the skeleton shooters concentrated their fire, launching strong attacks.

On the first volley, a group of Snow Girls flying behind was shot down.

Though only a little over thirty died, it caused the Snow Girls’ movement to pause momentarily.

At this moment, Gu Xi waved his hand, and the other ghosts quickly charged upward, cooperating with the Ghost Squad to attack the Snow Girls.

After all, this battle could be considered a semi-aerial combat; other corps under Gu Xi’s command couldn’t engage.

After all, they couldn’t reach; only the skeleton shooters and skeleton mages could hit the Snow Girls flying above.

The skeleton mages currently had no intention of attacking; per Gu Xi’s command, they continued to extract the Snow Girls’ mana.

Gu Xi felt something was clearly wrong with the Level 6 Snow Girls at the forefront.

Gu Xi absolutely did not want to be caught off guard, merely urging the skeleton mages to extract mana violently.

Denying the Snow Girls any chance to recover mana or use magic.

The remaining matters, the skeleton mages would not concern themselves with.

The skeleton shooters, taking advantage of this opportunity, fired another seven or eight arrows.

With an ammunition vehicle, the skeleton shooters had infinite arrows, so they could keep firing continuously.

Every volley resulted in more than thirty Snow Girls falling from the sky.

Even though each Snow Girl was hit by more than ten arrows, no matter how strong their life force, it was of no use.

Meanwhile, the ghosts and Snow Girls had already engaged in combat.

The main force heroes under Gu Xi’s command boasted Level 5 troops on average, and with Gu Xi’s attribute bonuses, their combat power nearly reached the level of Level 6 troops.

Except for the Level 6 presence among the Snow Girls, the other Snow Girls stood no chance against the ghosts, and under the ghosts’ attack, the Snow Girls’ life quickly diminished.

Meanwhile, the Ghost Squad, having become White Impermanence, also entered the battlefield, fully aware of their role.

To serve as bait or pressure the enemy, and during the rest of the time, support from the side, finish off enemies, and finally be responsible for cleaning the battlefield.

Before their strength improved, the main battle troop would not fall on the Ghost Squad’s shoulders.

Although they appeared as a large number of ghosts flying in the sky, if they died, it would result in significant losses.

This was not favorable for the battlefield situation.

The main battle force was not something they needed to think about temporarily.

Taking advantage of the current situation, with the ghosts at the front battling the Snow Girls and them surrounding from behind, was their correct usage.

And every Snow Girl they killed increased the number of White Impermanence in the Ghost Squad, wrapped in skin.

The Snow Girls hadn’t noticed this situation; they were focused on the leading Snow Girls.

The leading Level 6 Snow Girls were also a bit troubled.

Previously, whether using a blizzard, an ice trap, or Touch of Frost, they could easily control the situation.

But they hadn’t expected upon emerging, before deploying any weather magic.

Their mana was extracted.

As a result, they couldn’t use any mana now.

Good magic corps, forcibly transformed into close combat troops.

Where could they find someone to reason with?

Most importantly, below, the skeleton shooters, directed by bosses, specifically targeted weakened or already injured Snow Girls.

Each attack claimed the lives of over thirty Snow Girls at once.

Initially, the situation was fine, but as time dragged on, the Snow Girls’ numbers dwindled more and more.

At this rate, it wouldn’t be long before the weaker Snow Girls wouldn’t survive.

Even if they regained some mana by then, it would be too late.

Thus, when more than half of the Snow Girls were dead or wounded, these grand Snow Girls began to take action, holding hands and concentrating all their mana together.

Then, centering on these Snow Girls, they formed a massive snow dragon scroll, sucking everything nearby into it.
