”Are you ready?”

On the main city gate, Gu Xi looked at the Minotaur lifting the stone bullet, speaking somewhat speechlessly.

Originally watching these Minotaurs transport the catapult, Gu Xi thought he had found a way to utilize them.

Unexpectedly, these Blood Bulls, besides having weak combat power, were not very smart. Instructing them to do physical labor was fine, but operating anything, they truly couldn’t.

In the end, it was Gu Xi who personally adjusted the angle of the catapult, allowing the Minotaur to throw the stone bullet on, and Gu Xi fired his first shot since becoming an Undead Mage.

The stone thrown didn’t hit the city wall Gu Xi wanted to attack but landed on the castle behind.

When the booming sound came, Gu Xi realized he might have forgotten about the catapult’s range. The current position of the catapult was only about a hundred meters away from the opponent’s city wall.

At such a close distance, and considering it was Gu Xi’s first time using a catapult, launching the stone was already quite good, and hitting the exact spot was almost impossible.

This shot landed right on the balcony where the Well Dragon King had just come out to watch the battle.

The balcony was entirely made of crystal, and with this hit, it shattered into pieces on the spot.

Looking back at his own balcony, thinking that he had just been watching there, the Well Dragon King’s face instantly turned bright red.

”You’re all going to die!”

The Well Dragon King roared, ignoring the Undead rushing in, and stormed towards the city gate with a large saber in hand, intending to kill Gu Xi and anyone who dared to destroy his bedroom.

At this time, on the city gate tower of the main gate, Gu Xi also noticed the situation with the Well Dragon King.

That was something that didn’t look like a dragon king, with white powder on his face, long green hair, a tall black hat on his head, wearing a Divine Robe, and holding a Long Saber taller than himself.

The blade was polished from crystal, but the handle was some creature’s horn.

When swinging the saber, you could see water flowing over it.

As he charged towards Gu Xi, Gu Xi’s subordinates also discovered his presence.

All the Skeleton Shooters and Skeleton Mages focused their fire on the Well Dragon King.

The Well Dragon King was not known for speed; facing the arrows and magic coming his way, he raised the long saber with both hands and charged forward.

”Slash!”

With this strike, all the arrows and magic in front of him were cut apart.

Seizing this opportunity, he arrived at the city wall, now less than a hundred meters away from Gu Xi.

At this distance, Gu Xi’s eyes widened, locking onto the Well Dragon King’s position.

”Magic Divine Arrow!”

”Bone Spike!”

”Flame Trap!”

”Bone Storm!”

Gu Xi took this opportunity and continuously cast various spells, some aimed at attacking the Well Dragon King and others to prevent him from getting closer.

Actually, his intense effort wasn’t because he wanted to take down the Well Dragon King, but because Gu Xi wanted to deplete his mana, preparing to use Death Incarnation.

But the Well Dragon King wasn’t aware of this.

Seeing Gu Xi endlessly casting magic at him, the Well Dragon King assumed Gu Xi was afraid.

Facing Gu Xi’s attack, the Well Dragon King also showed his prowess.

Cutting through magic with the long saber was expected, but he could also release a cloud around him, allowing him to fly short distances off the ground.

This was obviously a mysterious power from the water attribute.

Simultaneously, Gu Xi noticed that around him was an armor made of water, also a mysterious power of the water attribute.

It was these two powers that blocked many attacks for him.

The Bone Storm cast by Gu Xi couldn’t be directly slashed open by the Well Dragon King, so most of the attacks from the Bone Storm landed on him. Because of this, Gu Xi saw the water ripple armor on him and realized its immense defense power.

An armor that can withstand two Bone Storms, something Gu Xi hadn’t encountered before.

But Gu Xi wasn’t worried about this at all. In his view, if two Bone Storms couldn’t break through, then three Bone Storms, four Bone Storms would do it.

Gu Xi had enough mana to expend and even hoped that his mana could deplete faster.

After discovering that Bone Spikes and Magic Divine Arrows could be cut through, Gu Xi only used Bone Spikes to provoke attacks from the opponent, and at other times only used Bone Storms.

He realized the opponent’s armor had self-healing abilities but needed time.

Moreover, once repaired, about two and a half Bone Storms could break through the armor again.

So he was sure that stacking three Bone Storms together would certainly injure the opponent.

Upon discovering this, Gu Xi decisively stacked three Bone Storms together, blocking the Well Dragon King’s path.

After encountering it twice, the Well Dragon King realized he couldn’t withstand it, so he lowered his altitude, intending to bypass the attack range of the Bone Storm from the ground.

But as he dropped, he directly crashed into the Flame Trap Gu Xi had previously buried.

In the explosion, though not as effective as a Bone Storm, it still injured the Well Dragon King.

At this moment, Gu Xi realized something; the Well Dragon King possessed many abilities, but in explosive range magic, he not only had no resistance but also incurred more damage.

This discovery made Gu Xi’s eyes light up, understanding how to deal with the Well Dragon King.

However, the Well Dragon King reacted faster than Gu Xi, rushing forward immediately, with a giant cyan dragon shadow appearing behind him.

As he flew forward, the dragon shadow carried ice and storm effects, seemingly aiming to destroy all the Flame Traps Gu Xi had set.

It seemed the Well Dragon King also noticed Gu Xi’s preparations, fearing there were more traps ahead, so he used this move to dismantle all the Flame Traps.

The Well Dragon King’s actions indeed anticipated Gu Xi’s plan.

Gu Xi had previously set over ten Flame Traps here, now all detonated.

Seeing the flames explode, the Well Dragon King laughed heartily.

Traps discovered by him, can they still be called traps?

Now was his opportune moment to advance and wreak havoc.

With this thought, the Well Dragon King charged towards Gu Xi.

Seeing the Well Dragon King approaching within ten meters of him.

Gu Xi then pointed downwards.

Wraith Whiskers!

A plethora of arms extended from the ground, trying to grab the Well Dragon King.

But the Well Dragon King twisted his hand, and with the long saber in hand, he cut all the arms here on the spot.

Then, he jumped up, treading on the clouds, reaching the height of the city gate tower, raising the long saber to slash at Gu Xi.
