Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 373: Chapter 371: The First Purple Armor Ready for Use

”Surveillance isn’t a problem, but with just us, it’s a bit difficult to fully monitor everything.”

Luna understood Gu Xi’s thoughts, but she still offered some suggestions.

After all, to monitor players, at least Boss-level Undead are required.

The ordinary Undead Corps can’t be used for monitoring.

”Don’t worry, I’m thinking this way: we won’t open Yalidu City to outsiders, but we need a contact space with the outside world. Coincidentally, there’s now a mysterious mirror image space available, which can be used to make external contacts.

Plus, this space is entirely under your control. If there’s any problem, whether deploying troops from Yalidu or directly expelling people, it’s very convenient.”

Luna decisively understood what Gu Xi was implying.

”Master, you want those players to come in?”

”Exactly. After all, nobody has ever seen what Death City looks like. If I point to the mysterious mirror image space and say it’s Death City, they have to accept it.

Think about it: nineteen nodes can be considered nineteen large buildings, how is that not a city.”

Listening to Gu Xi’s words, Luna couldn’t help but find it amusing, though Gu Xi’s reasoning was sound. Nobody has ever seen what Death City looks like, so who defines how Death City should develop?

”It can be done.”

”Then, I’ll immediately write to contact them.”

Gu Xi was the kind of person who acted quickly after deciding, and seeing Luna agree, he immediately took out his contact list and began reaching out.

Of course, since Owl House has only five owls, even with other methods of contact, he can only reach five people at a time.

Gu Xi simply contacted Zuo Ya, Xia Yi, and others he knew, explaining the situation here and asking if they’re willing to come. If they are, they should bring along other players.

After sending out these letters, Gu Xi turned to Luna and said, ”It’ll take them some time to reply. Meanwhile, Anderson has made the high-pressure air hammer, so let’s go crack the golden egg.”

Having confirmed the matter, Gu Xi was quite pleased and waved at Luna, heading with her toward the blacksmith shop.

At the same time, Gu Xi explained to Luna some of the things he obtained in the Well Dragon Palace.

When she heard there was a quite big land title, Luna wanted to immediately integrate it into Yalidu City.

”No rush, the things are here and won’t run away. This time I also got a Sacred Artifact, plus a Level 3 Building Stone. Prioritize addressing Di Mi’s needs; she seems unable to hold out any longer.”

”Understood!”

Listening to Gu Xi’s persuasion, Luna suppressed the urge to leave quickly and went with Gu Xi to the blacksmith shop.

Standing at the entrance of the blacksmith shop, Luna didn’t go inside.

She merely watched as blacksmith Anderson adjusted the so-called high-pressure air hammer, which, according to Gu Xi, seemed more like a hydraulic press.

Seeing Gu Xi arrive, Anderson quickly stood up, eagerly wiping his hands with a cloth.

”Master, you’re here.”

”How’s it going?”

”It’s all set up, just waiting for you to crack the golden egg.”

”Alright, then let’s put the Soul Stone on.”

Gu Xi nodded with satisfaction.

At Gu Xi’s command, a zombie assisting in the blacksmith shop came over, hoisting the massive Soul Stone onto the hydraulic press.

Gu Xi stood far on the other side of the hydraulic press and pressed the switch.

The power hammer of the hydraulic press descended automatically, landing heavily on the Soul Stone.

Then Gu Xi heard a piercing screech, and large cracks began to appear in the Soul Stone.

Gu Xi stared at the Soul Stone intently, afraid of missing every detail.

Soon, the Soul Stone couldn’t withstand the pressure of the hydraulic press, the cracks expanding until it exploded on the spot.

Gu Xi and the others were far enough away to avoid the impact of the Soul Stone, but the hydraulic press wasn’t as lucky, shattering into fragments.

Among the fragments, Gu Xi saw numerous crimson gems scattered on the ground and a twisted lump of metal rolling into the corner.

However, what most caught Gu Xi’s attention was a crimson thin sheet on the ground.

The moment he saw the thin sheet, Gu Xi felt it was the purple equipment of this occasion.

Gu Xi quickly walked over and picked up the thin sheet.

In the next instant, the information of this thin sheet appeared before Gu Xi’s eyes.

[Seal - Demon Blood Sacrifice Mirror (Purple, Short Magic Staff)]

[Attack: 10-13]

[Equip: Intelligence +4, Charm +4]

[Equipment Requirements: Intelligence 6, Perception 6, Charm 6]

[Special 1: Mirror King, enables learning mirror image magic, all mirror image skills level +3.]

[Special Effect 1: Upon equipping and activating Mirror King effect, a mirror image will automatically generate daily. If not addressed, the mirror images will consume the original body once reaching ten in number.]

[Special 2: Seal - Blood Sacrifice Technique, can temporarily seal enemies up to Level 15 into the mirror (only one enemy can be sealed at a time, and released enemies cannot be sealed again within three days), allowing the user to call upon the sealed enemy’s powers.]

[Special Effect 2: After equipping and activating Seal - Blood Sacrifice Technique, users will face the effect of soul detachment daily. Failure to return to the body will result in occupation by the sealed enemy.]

[Special 3: Blood Aurora Kill, use the mirror to issue a blood light toward enemies, inflicting 500 life damage (attack power increases with player level).]

[Special Effect 3: Upon activation of Blood Aurora Kill once, life recovery effect decreases by 30%.]

[Note: This is a stone used to seal demons, somehow transformed into a mirror. Be aware that sealing demons in mirrors is not a wise choice.]

Gazing at the item called a Short Magic Staff but actually a mirror, Gu Xi felt it was meant for Luna.

The Mirror King skill among the three fits Luna perfectly as it can enhance the levels of various mirror image-type mysterious skills she recently mastered.

As for the generation of a mirror image daily, Luna managing such matters is easy.

Seal-related issues are not a concern for Luna either, being a Ghost herself; soul detachment would require her to have a physical body first.

Lastly, regarding Blood Aurora Kill, the negative effect is a mere reduction in life recovery rate, not a complete elimination.

In essence, these three negative effects hardly impact Luna, whereas the special effects significantly benefit her.

After glancing at [Seal - Demon Blood Sacrifice Mirror], Gu Xi looked at Luna again, a thought flashing in his mind.

He realized he had never equipped his Contracted Undead with anything.

Realizing the oversight, Gu Xi raised his head and beckoned to Luna.

”Luna, this mirror is yours.”
