Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 376: Chapter 374: Rapid Kills

Xia Yi and the others persuaded Gu Xi for half a day, but they couldn’t make Gu Xi retract this decision.

So, outwardly they seemed a bit depressed, but inside, they had no idea how much they were laughing.

After being informed on how to operate these mirrors, they quickly divided themselves into groups and took action.

However, their progress somewhat exceeded Gu Xi’s imagination.

Just a few minutes later, they locked onto a few Order Mages.

This situation surprised Gu Xi a little, but he immediately realized that the players he called over this time were from small guilds, and at the White Training Grand Ceremony, players like them were no different from solo players.

Usually, they just think about mixing into the rankings.

They can’t target the more powerful enemies.

What they can do is keep an eye on one or two enemies, ready for a nighttime ambush.

This way, as long as they can kill one enemy a day, they can at least earn something.

So, they all had a few potential enemy targets in mind.

With such a good surveillance tool now, they immediately locked onto their targets. The reason it took a few minutes was entirely because they were familiarizing themselves with how to use the mirrors.

Otherwise, they wouldn’t have taken so long.

As the first Order Mage was dragged into the Mysterious Mirror Image Space, Gu Xi felt a hint of satisfaction in his eyes; the Ritual Magic had already begun.

Gu Xi turned to look at Luna.

Luna understood that now there was nothing left for her to do here and that there were many things waiting for her to handle in Yalidov City.

The fusion of land titles, the construction order of new buildings, and the arrangement of various materials, all of these need Luna to personally take action.

She could stay here entirely because the Ritual Magic needed her presence.

Now that the Ritual Magic had begun, it didn’t matter whether she stayed or not, so she could go back to tending to her own matters.

After Luna left, Gu Xi also approached one of the mirrors and began searching rapidly.

Gu Xi was different from Xia Yi and the others; Gu Xi had not been appearing in the real world during the daytime recently, so he hadn’t locked onto any targets.

This time, he wasn’t targeting the Order Mages of Qiufeng City; he had only one target, the traitor You Songsheng of Bailian City.

Gu Xi was very clear that You Songsheng was a major scoring target this time.

Without saying anything else, just seeing his name still on the points leaderboard, it was clear how Bailian City players viewed him.

Others might be uncertain, but as far as Gu Xi was concerned, the conflict between him and You Songsheng was irreconcilable.

Gu Xi could believe that over half of the calculations at this White Training Grand Ceremony were aimed at himself.

If he used his own troops, he’d be immediately removed from the leaderboard.

This clearly was due to concerns that Gu Xi would use Death City’s abilities to score crazily.

Gu Xi wouldn’t think being on the mind of such a person was a good thing.

When given the opportunity to eliminate such an enemy, Gu Xi wouldn’t miss the chance to kill them.

So while other players were searching for Order Mages, Gu Xi also began looking for You Songsheng through the mirrors.

Concerning You Songsheng, Gu Xi didn’t know much, only that he possessed the skill of Soul Hunter.

Aside from that, before entering the White Training Grand Ceremony, Gu Xi had also seen some players from the Steel Ghost Claw Guild.

Gu Xi memorized a few faces.

Now Gu Xi planned to rely on some of his ideas to search for someone like You Songsheng among the crowd.

Seeing Gu Xi searching for himself, the Undead Mages also sped up.

At the same time, they didn’t spread out too far, and every time someone locked onto an Order Mage and dragged them into the Mysterious Mirror Image Space, the nearby Undead Mages would gather to help hold the line.

After all, letting a great opportunity like this slip away would be embarrassing.

They’d rather move slower than give Order Mages the chance to turn the tables.

These Order Mages didn’t expect, in broad daylight, such a thing would happen to them.

Dragged into the Mysterious Mirror Image Space, they were baffled at first.

At that moment, the attacks of the Undead Mages launched in full force.

Under their assaults, the Order Mages didn’t even have the chance to counterattack; they were killed on the spot.

In retrospect, these Order Mages were really rather unlucky.

The combat over these past few days made them think that daytime was their dominion. Neither Undead Mages nor the already annihilated Demon Sorcerers had a chance to make a move in daylight.

So what they guarded against was the mysterious elements lurking in the city.

Their methods also employed accordingly.

They never expected to be dragged into the mirror image; a mere mysterious mirror image would still be within their realm of understanding.

But they encountered the ambush of the Undead Mages hidden there.

As various attacks from the Undead Army fell upon them, they couldn’t understand why the Undead Mages could cooperate with the mysterious forces.

Weren’t they supposed to be the Order Mages controlling the mystery?

What in the world was going on?

But before they could figure it out, they were killed on the spot.

And as the first Order Mage player was killed, more and more Undead Mages locked on to their own targets.

One Order Mage after another was dragged into the Mysterious Mirror Image Space, killed one after another.

This situation didn’t take long to catch the attention of players still in the real world.

The remaining Order Mages, seeing their numbers on the points leaderboard rapidly dwindling, also grew nervous.

They quickly left their current positions, hiding themselves in places they deemed safe.

At the same time, they unleashed the mysterious allies they controlled, intending to use their power to protect themselves.

Only they still didn’t know how their comrades had died, so when they went into hiding, they often inadvertently exposed themselves to the eyes of the Undead Mages.

Once the target was locked, it didn’t matter if they could escape to a safe house; even through their eyes, water, or any reflective surfaces, the Undead Mages could drag the Order Mages into the Mysterious Mirror Image World.

Hiding was futile.

In less than an hour, the number of players from Qiufeng City had already dropped to fewer than ten.

This situation also served as a wake-up call for Zuo Ya and the others.

”What Gu Xi said was true, he has a method to quickly find and kill the Order Mages, and we’ve lost our chance again.”

After glancing at the points leaderboard, a grim look spread across Zuo Ya’s face.

He understood that this time it was an opportunity handed away by himself.

”Call in reinforcements; we can’t wait any longer. If we keep waiting, there won’t be anything left for us this time.”
