Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 353: Chapter 351: End of the Battle, Clearing the Battlefield

”What did you say, Cold Leaf City’s main force has gone to Gu Xi’s side?”

Zuo Ya was also a bit surprised upon receiving the news. He hadn’t expected that after working half the night, all he had blocked was the scraps among the players.

The real main force was not on this side at all.

They had fought for half a day and only managed to kill about ten Demon Sorcerers, while Gu Xi’s side had lured nearly fifty over there.

This could be considered the last combat power of Cold Leaf City. If all these fifty people were killed, then all that would remain would be some scattered soldiers.

”It’s a pity we’re not there.”

The Undead Mage fighting alongside Zuo Ya said it was a pity, but his face showed no sign of regret.

He was a player from the Ghostly Gun Guild, with a status similar to Zuo Ya’s position in the Corpse Bone Fish Dragon Guild.

The two of them could be considered as the de facto leaders of Bailian City’s players.

Through their efforts over the past two days, the Undead Mages had killed quite a few players from the other two cities.

Yet today, at the final stage, this kind of situation occurred.

This made Zuo Ya somewhat dissatisfied.

”Let’s go, we’ll take a look. There’s still some time. After Cold Leaf City’s main force has been defeated, we’ll go out and try to deal with this trouble from Cold Leaf City tonight.

Starting tomorrow, we must clean up those from Qiufeng City.

We can’t afford to delay, brother.”

”Forget it, let’s go. Even if it’s just to wrap up, we have to make an appearance. I must say, Breath of the Dead is only a borrowed name, a nickname not wrongly given.

His presence is like a breath, barely noticeable, yet omnipresent.”

Zuo Ya said with a smile, then began calling for people, preparing to rush to the location Gu Xi mentioned.

However, they were slightly delayed in their departure.

Gu Xi had no intention of directing a great battle of Undead Mages.

But he used his own methods to show the approaching Undead Mages what the Three Divine Skills meant.

As an Undead Mage, Gu Xi held a Magic Potion Bottle in one hand, a Cold Wind Staff in the other, leading his Undead directly into a charge against the Demons’ ranks.

His Undead Corps cared nothing about losses, slashing whenever they saw an enemy.

Gu Xi only used four spells: Death Ripple, Bone Storm, Skeleton Priest, and a large amount of Soul Summoning Skill.

When his mana was nearly depleted, Gu Xi would just directly call forth a Death Incarnation.

The summoned Death Incarnation would conduct a horizontal sweep, attack the Demon Corps, using up the Death Dragon Breath and Melting Light, before flying back to the Tenshou Pavilion to guard the Soul Stone again.

Just among those killed by the Death Incarnation’s attacks were over three Demon Sorcerers, showing how powerful this Death Incarnation was.

Although he only summoned the Death Incarnation twice more, everyone already understood that the ’Bone Dragon’ under Gu Xi’s command was indeed powerful and deadly.

Most importantly, it could instantly teleport to Gu Xi, allowing him to summons the Bone Dragon for battle anytime he wanted.

The instant teleportation seemed to consume some mana. No matter how Gu Xi used his magic, he never intended to drink a Magic Potion, but when teleporting the Bone Dragon, Gu Xi had to drink a Magic Potion.

At one point, most Demon Sorcerers wanted to avoid Gu Xi, unwilling to face him directly in battle.

But Gu Xi had no intention of letting the Demon Sorcerers go.

After all, he had drawn the people over; he couldn’t throw everything to the approaching Undead Mages to handle.

Gu Xi proactively moved toward one direction’s Demon Sorcerers, even if they wanted to escape, he wouldn’t let them go.

With Gu Xi’s relentless fighting efforts, the other Undead Mages also gave their all in battle.

As time ticked by, more and more Undead Mages arrived to join the fight, encircling the Demon Sorcerers, giving them no chance of escape.

By now, this battlefield had spanned several blocks, even drawing out some Demons from Maple Forest.

It could be said this area had already become a massive melee of tens of thousands of people.

The Undead Mages were quite happy; in such combat, their forces grew more numerous the longer they fought.

The Demon Sorcerers also made great efforts, coordinating with each other to use their small forces to fight against the Undead.

But no matter what, the Demon Sorcerers couldn’t compare to the Undead Mages, who could immediately replenish their forces after losses.

The Demon Corps, when killed, were truly dead.

When Zuo Ya and his troops arrived, they happened to witness the conclusion of this great battle.

Gu Xi, having downed four Magic Potions, did not make any further moves, knowing he couldn’t drink anymore, fearing he’d be sick if he continued.

Currently, Gu Xi was leaning against the Cold Wind Staff, watching the battle wrap up atop the Evil Coffin.

The other Undead Mages, seeing Gu Xi’s actions, didn’t think for a moment that he shouldn’t rest.

They had all witnessed Gu Xi’s combat madness.

Not to mention anything else, just looking at Gu Xi’s undead army of 1,200 strong, they knew that thousands, if not at least 3,000 Demons and Demonic Corps had fallen at his hands.

This accounted for nearly one-fifth of the enemy, and that was without considering Gu Xi’s slain forces.

If those forces were counted, Gu Xi’s achievements would undoubtedly increase.

Besides, Gu Xi had already obtained all the things he wanted, pulling his forces away from the battlefield and closer to the Tenshou Pavilion where the Soul Stone was stored.

His actions clearly showed his intentions.

Gu Xi meant that the items on the battlefield were his, and he had already taken them. What remained was for others to divide among themselves.

However, the Soul Stone at Tenshou Pavilion was his find, belonging to Gu Xi, and no one else could take it.

Considering Gu Xi’s combat power, and recognizing that he truly had taken Tenshou Pavilion,

Whether out of respect or observing combat ability, Gu Xi held the initiative.

Now Gu Xi was waiting for everyone to finish cleaning up the battlefield, fully removing the Demon Sorcerers, so he could transport the Soul Stone back to Yalidov City.

As for the spoils of war here, Gu Xi had already taken what he wanted, so he didn’t need to fight for the rest.

At that moment, Gu Xi heard the sound of an army approaching from the distance.

He looked in the direction of the sound and saw Zuo Ya leading a large number of Undead Mages towards this area.

Gu Xi smiled at Zuo Ya, ”You’re late, oh!”
