The Maple Family belongs to the underworld system in the Netherworld.

They don’t sit idly by like other Death Gods, waiting for mortals to die of old age.

Instead, they use various means to drive people to suicide.

Because of this, the Maple Family has often been criticized and disciplined by the Netherworld, ultimately forcing them to lure people to their old mansion and then drive them to suicide.

At the same time, they breed the Evil Spirits and Fierce Ghosts that the Netherworld particularly despises, and their Blood Maple Leaf is even the best material for making the Reincarnation Disc.

This provocation by Gu Xi is a slap in the face for the Maple Family.

No matter how much the Maple Family wants a peaceful negotiation, there is no reason to maintain peace.

”Go, kill them!”

Under the command of the leading Death God, the remaining Death Gods all flew up.

They intended to charge at the Red Dragons in the sky.

Gu Xi only had forty-one Red Dragons, and he would not let them be killed easily.

Although he spoke dismissively of the Death Gods, Gu Xi was cautious of them.

He feared they might possess instant-kill abilities.

Seeing the Death Gods flying up, Gu Xi waved his hand, and the Ghost Squad, turning into White Impermanences, appeared in the air.

”Oh my Six Paths, how did it become White Impermanence? I knew there was something wrong with their attack this time. Who is the bastard that betrayed our Maple Family? Everyone, attack, kill them. As long as they are all killed, our Maple Family will give ten thousand souls!”

When the other side thought they had discovered the truth, Gu Xi turned his hand, and the Steel City Gate, which was originally outside Maple Leaf Park, suddenly pushed forward, colliding directly with the city wall made of trees that surrounded Maple Leaf Park.

The Steel City Gate was nothing, it just made a noise at most when it hit the city wall.

But the Earth-bound Deceitful Dragon guarding the Steel City Gate was different.

The hundred-meter-long Earth-bound Deceitful Dragon raised its body, and a large flow of water appeared around it, quickly assembling on the dragon’s body, forming its flesh and blood.

The Earth-bound Deceitful Dragon immediately turned into a Water Flow Clone state.

At the same time, the dragon opened its mouth, and a large amount of dirty water sprayed out, turning into a high-pressure Water Gun, hitting the Demons and Evil Spirits on the city wall.

The Water Flow Dragon Breath of the Earth-bound Deceitful Dragon was considered an Elemental Attack to the Ghosts, and a Physical Attack to other Demons.

It can be said that the first sweep of the Water Flow Dragon Breath of the Earth-bound Deceitful Dragon knocked down half of the Demons on the city wall.

At the same time, Gu Xi’s Undead Corps took advantage of this opportunity to jump onto the opposing city wall, clashing with the demons and battling fiercely.

Leading the charge was still Arroyo from the Black Spear Camp.

Their skills were perfectly suited for such a frontal battlefield as this.

Upon reaching the enemy’s city wall, Arroyo brandished his War Axe and charged forward, and his Black Spear Camp charged recklessly, continuously impacting the Demons and Evil Spirits.

The Demons and Evil Spirits caught in the Black and Grey of the Black Spear Camp had no chance to escape.

Meanwhile, the other Undead under Gu Xi were also influenced by the Undead Boss to engage frontally with the Demons.

They did not consider their own casualties, focusing only on attacking all the enemies in front of them.

Seeing such aggression, the Death Gods of the Maple Family in the sky panicked.

They were akin to civil servants, their forte being to take away others’ souls.

They were not adept at large-scale battles of this sort.

Several Death Gods wanted to rush down to the city wall to command the battle.

But the leading Death God noticed something was off.

”Ignore them, that’s the Undead Mage described in the books, just kill that guy.”

The leading Death God pointed his Scythe at Gu Xi, clearly realizing the biggest weakness of the Undead Mage, lack of combat power in the main body.

But was Gu Xi really lacking in combat power?

Watching a Death God fly toward him with a Scythe, Gu Xi raised the Cold Wind Staff.

”Magic Divine Arrow!”

The Magic Divine Arrow that shot out this time naturally resembled a Flying Sword.

Only its color had changed significantly.

Originally, Gu Xi’s Magic Divine Arrow turned into an Ice-composed Flying Sword, but this time, it clearly had Flame Power on the surface of the Flying Sword.

After launching the Magic Divine Arrow, Gu Xi released four or five Bone Storms in the direction of the incoming enemy.

The Bone Storms, carrying Ice and Flame Attributes, immediately formed a giant Defense Shield in front of Gu Xi. Anyone rushing in would be hit from all directions.

Several faster Death Gods were torn to pieces on the spot.

In the meantime, the returning Red Dragons circled back, not retreating due to Gu Xi’s command. They skillfully used their speed to encircle the flying Death Gods, spitting Dragon Breath at them with each pass.

These Death Gods were called such, but they were actually living entities.

Besides flying and taking souls, they had no other advantages.

Their special profession merely enabled them to use a variety of skills.

They feared Dragon Breath as well and would be battered by the Red Dragons.

When the Red Dragons’ breath fell upon these Death Gods, seven or eight of them were instantly incinerated to ash.

It was then that Gu Xi realized he had been intimidated by the reputation of the Death Gods.

He shouldn’t have regarded these so-called Death Gods as a formidable profession, but rather as leaders or heroes among the Demons.

Understanding this, Gu Xi decisively let go, allowing the Red Dragons to attack freely.

The Red Dragons, being quite clever, knew exactly where their strengths lay.

After burning more than a dozen Death Gods, the Red Dragons split into pairs, flying along the perimeter wall of Maple Leaf Park, spraying the Demons on the city wall.

The Demons, one by one, could not fly, were slow-moving, and lacked high Fire Resistance. The Red Dragons’ breath quickly scattered the demonic ranks.

Taking advantage of this gap, Gu Xi’s Undead forces charged right in.

Engaging in battle with the surviving Demons.

These Demons’ strength levels were generally around 4, with the difference being whether or not they had city-level support.

In situations with similar combat power, life and death often depended on the willingness to fight fiercely.

However, Gu Xi noticed that the Demons under the Death Gods were mostly Evil Spirits and Fierce Ghosts, who were a type of Undead and had no concept of self-preservation or fear of death.

Thus, the sides almost played to a one-to-one draw, with only the Black Spear Camp achieving consistent victories, successfully flattening everything before them.

After organizing several charges without reaching Gu Xi, the Death Gods grew impatient.

The leading Death God stared at Gu Xi, eyes blood-red, shouting loudly.

”You forced my hand, release the thing!”
