The Cheat Emperor of the Culinary World

Chapter 378: Chapter 377: Can She Do All This?

”Yaoyao, show your face and let Chef Fu check it, okay?”

The little girl was clearly hesitant, but finally obediently reached up to tuck her bangs behind her ears, revealing her entire face.

She lifted her head to face Fu Yu, but her gaze slightly dropped, avoiding eye contact with Fu Yu.

Zhang Zhen turned to Fu Yu and said, ”Chef Fu, could you please take a look at her?”

Fu Yu moved closer to carefully examine the little girl’s face.

From his teaching practice experience, he could almost immediately determine that her acne was moderate grade three, with comedones and inflammatory papules, and even pustules had appeared.

Beyond that, he wasn’t too clear.

After all, what the eyes can see is just the condition of the skin’s surface.

However, the girl’s condition was somewhat serious because she clearly had a habit of squeezing pimples. Several pimples on her face had been squeezed prematurely.

Due to infection, those areas of skin were visibly inflamed.

Fu Yu carefully examined the pimple scars on her face, using his limited experience to gauge the extent of damage the inflammation would cause to her skin after infection.

Fu Yu wasn’t very knowledgeable about medical matters, but he was quite familiar with medicinal diet adjustments.

The girl was currently going through puberty, and getting pimples was a normal physiological phenomenon. Because of this, acne on her face could be treated or even cured, but wanting it to never recur was certainly impossible.

After examining the girl, Fu Yu, on the pretext of needing to think about the course of the medicinal diet, quickly recalled some ingredients and medicines he had learned in his previous teaching practice class that could clear lung heat, remove damp toxins, and regulate the endocrine system.

Acne is actually just pimples, a chronic inflammatory follicular sebaceous gland disorder, and one of the most common illnesses during puberty.

Pimples can cause inflammation of the skin’s sebaceous glands or hair follicles, resulting in stinging papules from which a white or creamy granular pus can be squeezed.

In daily life, just try to keep the face and body clean.

Maintain a happy mood, get enough sleep, pay attention to diet, eat more vegetables and fruits, and eat less fried, high-calorie, and spicy foods.

This can effectively improve the body’s endocrine system, promote metabolism, and have a good effect on improving and preventing the recurrence of pimples.

But these official statements, which look simple, are actually extremely difficult to implement.

Fu Yu found that treating pimples and simply wanting to enhance beauty and nourish the skin are completely different!

Arranging a suitable medicinal diet for the girl requires considering many factors.

First is the choice of medicinal herbs and ingredients.

Next is the method of cooking the medicinal diet and the arrangement of the food therapy sequence.

Finally, how to subtly adjust the girl’s inferiority complex after taking the medicinal diet.

After all, the presence of acne had clearly cast a shadow over the girl’s adolescence, not only affecting her external beauty but also her mental health.

And mood swings may directly lead to endocrine disorders.

If you only rely on medicinal diets for food therapy and don’t adjust the mindset simultaneously, such treatment will only address the symptoms, not the root cause, and you don’t even need to try to know the effect will definitely be minimal.

However, in order to conduct psychological guidance, the most important thing is to make the girl have confidence in curing acne, to let her see the hope of recovery.

So how should acne be treated with medicinal diet therapy?

The main thing is to change daily eating and living habits.

In daily life, consume less high-sugar foods, high-fat foods, and spicy stimulating foods.

It sounds like it’s just a matter of trying hard to control it, but actually forgoing certain foods is extremely difficult.

First, it’s things like sweets, chocolate cakes that girls her age typically love.

Also, delicious fried foods, chips, and soft drinks should all be avoided.

Furthermore, chili peppers, green onions, ginger, and garlic, these seasoning ingredients must also be removed from the menu.

Additionally, one must eat more vegetables and fruits daily.

Many adolescents are in their growth spurts, and if they pursue a bland diet to excess, their growth and development could be affected. So a reasonable diet aimed at high protein, high vitamin, high mineral intake is necessary, including lean meat, fish, eggs, fruit, milk, etc.

Thus, Fu Yu must consider these points when arranging the medicinal diet’s ingredients, integrating effective medicinal materials with these foods for cooking.

In addition, more high-fiber foods are needed to maintain intestinal smoothness, which aids in the prevention and treatment of acne.

This adds certain restrictions on the ingredients, preferably those rich in long fibers.

Fu Yu imagined various green vegetables and fruits in his mind, but often the medicinal herbs used for food therapy just couldn’t meld in taste.

Creating a suitable medicinal diet menu for the girl is really difficult!

Moreover, while he’s putting effort into adjusting the girl’s diet...

The girl herself also needs to fully cooperate.

After all, getting enough sleep, adjusting digestive system function, and maintaining an optimistic attitude are all conducive to curing acne.

But as Zhang Zhen mentioned earlier, the girl is currently in a busy study period.

When Fu Yu was studying, teachers often warned that the most difficult time was the high school entrance exam, and being admitted to a key high school was equivalent to having one foot officially in the door of a top university.

With a heavy academic workload following, it’s conceivable that even if the girl wants to ensure enough sleep, the reality may not allow it.

Moreover, acne is most taboo to squeeze the facial papules, comedones, pustules with fingers, to prevent leaving scars.

But the girl has clearly developed this bad habit.

Squeezing pimples is very addictive.

Fu Yu also had this habit in the past.

However, he was relatively fortunate as he didn’t have oily skin and rarely had severe breakouts.

Later on, even after squeezing a few, due to his skin type, no noticeable scars were left.

Because of his similar experience, he deeply understands that the urge to squeeze when seeing pimples on the face is very difficult to resist.

Besides, it’s important to eat meals regularly and in moderate amounts, avoiding hunger and overeating.

Fu Yu has his own job to complete, and can only use one rest day a week for medicinal diet preparation, meaning he has no time or energy to closely oversee customers complying with requirements.

For adults like Wang Xueli, there’s inherently stronger self-control, and motivated by a desire for beauty, they’re able to adhere to dietary constraints.

But for a girl of her age, could she manage all this?

Yet, developing a relatively reasonable and scientific dietary balance is a crucial key for preventing and treating ’pimples’.
