The Cheat Emperor of the Culinary World

Chapter 377: Chapter 376: Completely Smitten

VIP room in the music restaurant.

The front hall manager personally greeted three customers who had reserved a herbal therapy course.

All three women were impeccably dressed, and during their conversation, they discussed the specific details of the herbal dietary therapy they had just learned after communicating with Wang Xueli.

Since they were very intrigued, their attitude was particularly cooperative when handling the reservation procedures.

They originally just came to inquire about the procedure of the herbal cuisine, after all, a course costs 200,000. Upon learning the price, their curiosity was immediately piqued.

Such an expensive herbal dietary therapy, what precious ingredients must be cooked with it?

Upon arriving at the store and being introduced to Wang Xueli by the waiter, they saw with their own eyes the table full of exquisitely presented herbal dishes before her.

Not to mention the price, just these few impressive dishes opened their eyes wide.

Seeing the photos of Wang Xueli before and after the dietary therapy, they were further astounded and somewhat moved.

The effect shown in the photo comparison was truly striking.

If not for the photos in front of them, they wouldn’t have believed that the elegant and beautiful woman before them once looked so haggard.

The difference in skin and temperament was just too great!

Actually, Wang Xueli had always had a good base, a delicate face, though a bit overweight, but her dressing was in good taste.

Since undergoing the herbal dietary therapy, she gradually changed her dark clothes to lighter and brighter colors that enhanced her complexion, making her look like a flower reencountering spring, full of vitality again.

Although Wang Xueli looked somewhat like a salesperson, especially with this set of juxtaposed photos that could easily be fake,

it was undeniable that they were captivated by the main effects of the herbal dietary therapy presented before them.

It can beautify and invigorate, boost energy, and nourish blood, which is exactly what these middle-aged women yearned for and valued the most.

The effects of the herbal menu just happened to hit the spot for their desire to maintain youthful looks.

In the private room, the women were quite interested and chatted with Wang Xueli for a long time.

Friendship among women often builds very easily.

Sometimes, all it takes is a shared topic about effective maintenance.

Within a few exchanges, they became clearly familiar, and Wang Xueli enthusiastically showed them her previous moments on social media.

Even with the filters applied, the clearly fatigued and aged photos left the three stunned.

The social media posts had clear date stamps, and most of the comments were gently advising Wang Xueli to pay more attention to health maintenance.

Wang Xueli vividly described her previous blind weight loss, leading to health issues and the high costs of hiring a nutritionist for body conditioning.

Instantly, the three were utterly captivated!

They had to book it!

They must try it!

It’s just hundreds of thousands, which they typically spend on maintenance anyway. Now that they’ve encountered such a rare immediate opportunity, they’d regret it intensely if they didn’t seize it!

Especially upon hearing that many wealthy friends were preparing to book appointments with Fu Yu due to Wang Xueli’s good results, the three became even more restless.

They couldn’t let indecisiveness prevent them from getting a slot, that would be too costly a mistake!

To not miss the rare opportunity of beauty and youthfulness, they quickly called over the waiter to process the herbal therapy reservation procedures.

After paying, Fu Yu came over to discuss specific herbal menus and treatment times with them.

After everything was settled, it was agreed to begin the herbal dietary therapy next week.

...

It was Fu Yu’s first time at the music restaurant’s employee dormitory.

The spacious room, with a suite layout, housed two people per room and came equipped with a private bathroom, shower, and various small appliances like a refrigerator, TV, and washing machine.

The employee dorms at Qianlima and the music restaurant were worlds apart.

In Fu Yu’s view, the music restaurant’s dorms were comparable to studio apartments.

Zhang Zhen, being the head chef, enjoyed the special privilege of having a room to himself.

However, since he lived in the city, he usually only stayed at the dormitory when there was sudden overtime work at the restaurant.

Long-vacated rooms often feel cold and impersonal, but Zhang Zhen’s constant chatter added a touch of homeliness.

Zhang Zhen was genuinely a bit impatient.

Finally, when Zhang Xueyao arrived, he quickly rushed to the back kitchen to fetch Fu Yu.

”Chef Fu, sorry to trouble you, the person has arrived and is waiting inside!”

Zhang Zhen felt both grateful and expectant towards Fu Yu, unintentionally becoming more familiar and kind: ”Come on in, no need to change your shoes.”

Fu Yu entered directly without any formality towards Zhang Zhen.

Inside the room was a comfortable double bed, with a long sofa placed near the window.

As Fu Yu entered, he noticed a little girl sitting on the sofa.

The girl had her hair in a ponytail, with thick strands of bangs on both sides that covered half of her already small face.

Upon hearing a sound, she glanced up, quickly looked away, and skillfully brushed her hair forward to cover her face again.

Despite her swift movements, Fu Yu caught sight of the pronounced acne marks on her face.

The girl’s eyes were actually quite beautiful, typical almond-shaped large eyes with high-bridged noses; if not for the two prominent pimples on her nose, her profile would have been exquisite.

But upon closer inspection, her face was almost covered with a myriad of acne and old acne scars outside the parts hidden by her hair.

These marks, varying in depth, completely marred what should have been a pretty face.

Aware of Fu Yu’s gaze, the girl once again pushed her hair forward.

Watching the girl’s seemingly humble gesture, Fu Yu felt a sudden pang, a kind of helpless sympathy.

”Yaoyao, this is Chef Fu, whom I invited to help you,”

Zhang Zhen spoke naturally, taking a senior’s stance, though he sighed quietly when no one noticed.

”Hello.”

The girl greeted Fu Yu politely.

As she spoke, she glanced at Fu Yu, but quickly averted her gaze after greeting him.
