The Cheat Emperor of the Culinary World

Chapter 375: Chapter 374: Actions Speak Louder Than Feelings

Fu Yu is completely inexperienced in medicine.

So, he can only make a crude judgment based on Wang Xueli’s recent daily diet and some relevant knowledge gained from teaching practice classes.

In fact, this approach has some biases, and the best way is for Wang Xueli to go to the hospital for a systematic check-up.

However, since medicinal dietary therapy is a slow-acting treatment that requires long-term commitment, even if she goes to the hospital, minor changes are not easily diagnosed.

Fu Yu hopes to serve Wang Xueli in the long run, so he plans to nurse her step by step through dietary therapy in the most reliable way.

After carefully inquiring, Fu Yu made a judgment.

With limited experience, he didn’t pretend to be profound and instead spoke frankly, explaining Wang Xueli’s current physical condition one by one.

He expressed his intentions very tactfully.

Dietary therapy with medicinal food is not something that works quickly.

So he intends to serve Wang Xueli in the long term.

However, the premise is that Wang Xueli can accept the high cost of this nutritional service and is patient to cooperate with his treatment plan.

After all, to stay healthy, relying only on medicinal dietary supplements is not enough; appropriate exercise is needed.

And Fu Yu has substantial teaching experience in physical training.

Just thinking about applying the operations others imposed on him to others gives him inexplicable satisfaction; what could this mean?

Wang Xueli truly isn’t short of money; upon hearing that Fu Yu intends to provide long-term dietary therapy for her, she was overjoyed.

In life, wealth is indeed important, but when it is enough to last a lifetime of extravagance, the most important thing becomes physical health.

If physical health can be maintained while also achieving beauty, weight loss, and body shaping, it’s simply a dream come true.

Wang Xueli quickly expressed, ”Chef Fu, feel free to design a medicinal dietary care plan for me. I’ll definitely cooperate in full. Time isn’t an issue, money isn’t an issue, as long as it’s effective!”

Fu Yu heaved a sigh of relief.

After this matter was settled, Fu Yu then discussed, ”There’s another thing, Miss Wang, like this, there are two customers who have come to see me after hearing about my reputation, and would like to start a medicinal food therapy course. However, due to some concerns about pricing, they’re coming to consult with me today. I wanted to discuss with you if you could possibly...?”

Wang Xueli readily said, ”Of course! Why not?”

As she spoke, she took out her phone and showed Fu Yu a comparison photo of the treatment results she had just taken, ”Look, this is such a real and powerful proof! Later, I’ll show them. This is a personal testimony, so persuasive! By the way, when are they coming? If there’s still time, I’ll post something on my Moments first.”

Fu Yu was dumbfounded by this operation.

Wang Xueli had always acted decisively. As she said she would post on Moments, she promptly posted a few assembled photos with a caption:

[There are no ugly women, only lazy ones! If you want to live exquisitely and tastefully, start with medicinal dietary supplements (heart)]

Seeing Fu Yu’s surprise, Wang Xueli laughed and said, ”Chef Fu, you’ve done me such a big favor, and I’m just helping you promote it. It’s not much. Besides, this is such a good opportunity to show off! Normally, I would love to get close to others and let them see my changes, and now I’m just showing strangers how I’ve become prettier and healthier through dietary therapy, and I’m happy to do it!”

Fu Yu smiled sincerely, politely expressing his gratitude.

At the same time, the post Wang Xueli just uploaded to Moments almost instantly stirred up a wave of attention online.

You see, she originally had wealth and influence, and a wide network.

Previously, because of weight loss, she was making a big fuss, and later she hired a nutritionist at a high price to do conditioning, which caused a stir in the circle, known to everyone.

Recently, seeing that the medicinal food therapy has been quite effective, her somewhat flamboyant personality became even more so.

She called friends and attended various parties everywhere, afraid that others wouldn’t know about her current changes.

Actually, it’s only been a short month, and although she’s had some changes, it’s not exaggerated to the point of being seen as stunning at first glance.

It’s just that she observed carefully, and with relatives and friends cheering her on nearby.

As long as a person becomes confident, her temperament improves, plus she indeed rested well, and the dietary therapy had some effect, she changed her previously low-key style in clothing and grooming.

The changes became somewhat noticeable.

Liu Yici, who often accompanied Wang Xueli for medicinal food lately, had long been envious hearing about her recent physical changes.

Now, she was startled to see the before-and-after comparison photos, becoming even more tempted.

It’s only a few hundred thousand!

Even if you add a zero, she can still afford it!

Satisfy your heart now!

Liu Yici refreshed Wang Xueli’s Moments twice, first liking and commenting on it herself, and then watching others continue to interact with Wang Xueli.

The discussions were all about inquiring where Wang Xueli did her medicinal dietary regimen and the related details about the chef.

Liu Yici suddenly felt a sense of urgency.

These rich ladies would risk anything for beauty, and if they find out about Fu Yu, how would she still get a spot?

Liu Yici dared not delay, hastily calling Fu Yu, repeatedly reminding and urging him to immediately customize a set of dietary therapy courses for her.

Starting next week, she too wanted to undergo dietary therapy!

A little past eleven in the morning, two clients came one after another seeking Fu Yu’s consultation on medicinal food matters.

...

By two-thirty in the afternoon, the kitchen staff finally found time to take a break and hastily put together a few dishes for lunch.

After the meal, Zhang Zhen suddenly said to Fu Yu, ”Chef Fu, do you have time now? There’s something I’d like to discuss with you alone.”

Fu Yu was somewhat surprised, nodding, ”Sure.”

The two moved to a place where there’s no one around.

Fu Yu curiously asked, ”Chef Zhang, what’s up?”

Zhang Zhen seemed a bit hesitant, but after some hesitation, he still said, ”Chef Fu, it’s like this, I’ve actually never mentioned this to anyone before, but I’ve been privately supporting a poor student. This young girl is from this area, she used to be our neighbor, so we know each other well. Her parents passed away, and she’s currently living with her grandmother who is over seventy.”

”She’s in her second year of middle school now, at a critical study period, but because of her physical condition, she’s experiencing some endocrine disruption. She was originally quite pretty, but now her face is covered with acne and pimples, and it’s really severe. I just wanted to ask if you could do me a favor and prepare some medicinal dietary therapy for her.”

”She’s really a good kid; she used to have good grades, but because of the issues on her face, she’s become a bit self-conscious. You know how sensitive teenagers can be. Sigh...”
