Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

”Zhao Ergou, you’re living the good life, huh! Drinking again? Keep drinking like this, and sooner or later it’ll kill you!” Liu Qiaoqiao snapped at him, her face full of disdain.

”Wow, you’re really fired up! What? Need me to help you cool down?” Zhao Ergou excitedly rushed forward and grabbed Liu Qiaoqiao, trying to plant his foul-smelling mouth on her face.

”Get lost! You stink! Your mouth reeks of alcohol!” Liu Qiaoqiao pushed him away. ”I’m here today to talk business!”

”Talking business with me at this time of night? Who’d believe that!” Zhao Ergou stared lecherously at Liu Qiaoqiao’s ample chest, swallowed hard, and picked her up over his shoulder. ”Come on! Let me serve you well!”

”I’m not interested!” Liu Qiaoqiao cursed, kicking her legs.

”Not interested, my foot? Haven’t you always had a blast here with me? Your old man isn’t around to take care of you, right?” Zhao Ergou knew exactly what was going on.

For years, he’d been single in the village because he was lazy and idle, always loafing around. What decent woman would want a life with him?

That’s why he’s still single!

Even the brightest places have shadows, and even the simplest villages have sordid affairs. As more men went out to work, more women stayed behind. For Zhao Ergou, this was a stroke of luck.

Some restless young wives would come looking for him to soothe their loneliness. Liu Qiaoqiao was one sneaking around with him!

Over time, they became partners in crime, indulging in clandestine acts late at night in this bachelor’s house.

”Zhao Ergou! Can you at least close the door first!” Liu Qiaoqiao put up a bit of resistance before giving in, always mindful that nobody could find out about their sordid affair.

Zhao Ergou closed the door and eagerly embraced Liu Qiaoqiao, engaging in their wicked deeds, the old bed creaking noisily in time with their movements.

In the darkness, they tossed and turned for a long time before the noise subsided, leaving Liu Qiaoqiao lying there, panting contentedly.

”How about now? Did you cool off?” Zhao Ergou asked with a sleazy grin.

”You know what? I really did cool off quite a bit! But I just can’t swallow that insult,” Liu Qiaoqiao said, then shared what had happened at He Fusheng’s house today with Zhao Ergou.

”What do you want me to do?” Having slept with Liu Qiaoqiao, Zhao Ergou naturally had to follow her lead.

”I just can’t stand the He Family! Basically, it’s because they’re raising a rich and powerful family’s child, right? That’s why they get so many benefits? If something were to ’happen’ to the child in this village...” Liu Qiaoqiao laughed sinisterly, ”Do you think the child’s parents would still favor them?”

”You want me to cause trouble for that kid?” Zhao Ergou immediately caught her drift.

”Yes! You’re right on the money.”

”No! No, no, no!” Zhao Ergou repeatedly refused, ”You said it’s a leader’s child! I’ve seen that man, he’s military personnel, the villagers say he’s a senior officer, a regimental commander even! If I mess with their kid, I’d be digging my own grave!”

Hearing this, Liu Qiaoqiao was so angry that her heart, liver, spleen, lung, and kidneys all ached: ”Are you stupid? An accident! An accident! Do you know what an accident is?! Do you understand?”
