Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Capítulo 2337: Chapter 2330: The War of the Brats

“Yu Ziyang, when you smile, you look just like Yueyue!”

“Who’s Yueyue?” Yu Ziyang’s voice was soft and pleasing to the ear.

“Yueyue is my good friend!”

“Is she a little girl too?”

“Yes, she is!”

“Is she pretty or pretty?”

Ning Chenguang thought for a moment and said, “She’s pretty, and you’re not bad either!”

Hearing Ning Chenguang say she’s not bad, Yu Ziyang was so happy she pushed her bowl in front of Ning Chenguang: “Let’s eat together!”

Wang Xiaohu was a big glutton; he wasn’t satisfied with just eating the dishes on his own table. He stood up and wandered around, and wherever he smelled delicious food, he would dig out a big spoonful.

When he came in front of Yu Ziyang, he couldn’t resist the aroma of the bacon fried rice wafting into his nose, so he stretched out his spoon and took a bite.

“Mmm, really tasty!”

“Wang Xiaohu, you rascal!” Yu Ziyang was angry because Wang Xiaohu had stolen some of her food and accused him, “Isn’t there food on your table? Why do you have to steal mine!”

“Yours is delicious!” Wang Xiaohu smacked his lips, feeling unsatisfied, and reached out to grab Yu Ziyang’s rice and shove it into his mouth.

“Give it back! Give it back!”

“No!”

Seeing the rice nearly gone, Yu Ziyang started crying.

Ning Chenguang saw this and quickly got up, snatched the bacon fried rice back without saying a word: “Wang Xiaohu, you’re bullying people again! Can’t you eat your own food?”

“No way!” Wang Xiaohu went to snatch it again.

Ning Chenguang held on tightly and wouldn’t let go.

It was then that Bean Sprout, Ning Chenyang’s little sidekick in the class, stood up to report: “Teacher, Wang Xiaohu is stealing food!”

The teacher was serving soup to the children, and hearing the commotion in the class, turned around just in time to see Bean Sprout tattling.

“Bean Sprout, what did you say?”

“I said Wang Xiaohu is stealing food!”

The teacher gave Wang Xiaohu a sharp look: “Causing trouble again! Give it back to the other kids!”

Wang Xiaohu shook his fist at Bean Sprout, then finally let go.

Seeing Yu Ziyang smile through her tears, Wang Xiaohu was filled with rage. His eyes spun around a couple of times, then he opened his mouth and spat a big mouthful of saliva into the bacon fried rice: “Go ahead, eat it!”

Yu Ziyang pouted her lip and burst into tears: “My food…”

“Serves you right!” Wang Xiaohu made a funny face at her, and the class troublemakers erupted in cheers.

“Wang Xiaohu! Get out and stand in the hallway!” The teacher was upset and quickly walked over to comfort Yu Ziyang.

“I’m not going!” Wang Xiaohu put his hands on his hips and spat saliva several times into the bacon fried rice, “Eat it, eat it! Let’s see you eat now!”

Ning Chenguang watched as the once delicious rice turned into this mess, then looked at Wang Xiaohu’s smug and ugly face, and without hesitation, dumped the remaining rice in the bowl onto Wang Xiaohu’s face: “Don’t you like to eat? Have your fill!”

“Oh! Well done, Chenguang!” The little girls, who hated Wang Xiaohu, burst into laughter seeing his sorry state.

“What are you doing?” The teacher couldn’t control these mischievous kids and completely lost her temper. She let go of Yu Ziyang and stood in front of Ning Chenguang to scold him, “He misbehaves, and you follow suit! Both you and Wang Xiaohu go out and stand in the hallway!”

“My brother isn’t wrong! It’s Wang Xiaohu who should be punished!” Ning Chenyang defended his brother.

“Both wrong! Both go out!”

“Out we go then!” Wang Xiaohu wiped the rice from his face and walked out.

Ning Chenguang followed him out.

The two had just reached the doorway when Wang Xiaohu suddenly turned, stuck out his foot, and tripped Ning Chenguang, causing his head to thump onto the floor.

“Ow ow—!” Ning Chenguang clutched his head in pain, feeling dizzy.
