Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 2319: Chapter 2312: Feeling a Bit Dizzy

”Thank you! Thank you all!” The elderly woman thanked them repeatedly and headed towards the affiliated hospital’s medical team.

She was in such a hurry that she almost tripped over the stones underfoot several times.

Seeing this, Yan Huan quickly went up to support her: ”Madam, don’t rush! Watch your step!”

”Young lady, I have to hurry! You have no idea how scary it was with all that blood pouring from my husband! If I go any slower, I’m worried he’ll bleed out,” said the elderly woman.

”Here’s the plan, you wait here, I’ll run fast and get a doctor to help you!” Yan Huan said, sprinting off towards another medical team immediately after finishing her sentence.

”Thank you, young lady!”

Yan Huan ran to the tent of the affiliated hospital. The line here was also very long, with many people in front of each doctor.

This is a big village. The villagers have various ailments that have accumulated over the years without money to see a doctor, and they’ve eagerly awaited the arrival of the free medical team, wishing to address all their illnesses.

Yan Huan glanced at the front of the line but Cheng Yue wasn’t there, so she asked, ”Where’s Dr. Cheng?”

”He’s inside the tent.”

Yan Huan hurried into the tent and bumped right into Cheng Yue, who had just finished treating a patient’s wound.

”Yan Huan?” Cheng Yue took off his white mask, ”What’s wrong? Why are you running so fast?”

”Quick! Hurry up! An elderly man seriously cut his leg and the bleeding won’t stop!” Yan Huan said succinctly.

”Wait a moment. I’ll come right away!” Cheng Yue quickly returned to the tent, grabbed his medical kit, and ran out, ”Let’s go!”

Cheng Yue followed Yan Huan out to the elderly woman’s side: ”Let’s go, Madam, lead the way!”

”No, I can’t do it. I can’t run anymore. By the time I get back, my husband might have bled out! I’ll tell you the location, you go first, leave me to walk slowly!”

”Alright then, Madam, quickly tell us the address!”

The elderly woman gave the address, and Cheng Yue hurriedly ran forward.

After running a few steps, he looked back and saw Yan Huan walking with the elderly woman, so he shouted, ”Yan Huan, come with me! I need your help!”

”Okay, okay! Young lady, quickly go too! Don’t worry about me!”

”Alright then.”

Yan Huan dashed off with Cheng Yue towards the old woman’s home. As soon as they entered, they saw the elderly man still sitting on the ground, tying a piece of cloth torn from his clothes tightly around his leg to stop the bleeding.

His clothes were stained with blood, and there was indeed a lot on the ground as well. The wound was deep, and the cut was long, with the flesh turned outwards.

Yan Huan had never seen anything like this before, and her stomach churned uncomfortably after seeing it.

”Doctor, my leg was scraped by a rusty nail...” The old man had lost quite a bit of blood and was a bit scared, his face didn’t look good.

”Don’t worry, sir, I’ll help you treat the wound!” Cheng Yue placed the medical box on the ground, helped the old man into the house, then turned and saw Yan Huan covering her mouth, retching, ”Are you okay?”

”I’m fine. It’s just the first time I’ve seen so much blood, a bit dizzy...” Yan Huan said.

”I need your help.”

Suppressing the discomfort in her stomach, Yan Huan quickly brought over the medical box.

”What do you need me to do?” Yan Huan asked.

”Help me press on the old man’s leg and don’t let him move!” Cheng Yue instructed.
