[If that’s really the case, then this so-called ‘Enemy of All Races’ is indeed something worth pondering.] An intelligent gleam flashed through Yu Zi Yu’s eyes, but his right hand tightened ever so slightly.

*Crack… crack…* Bit by bit, the Heavenly Demon, one who had not even awakened the faintest spark of intelligence, was crushed, until it was reduced to nothing but black smoke, dispersing into the void.

Now was not the time to dwell on the mysteries of the Enemy of All Races.

To Yu Zi Yu, what mattered more was the invasion of the Buddha Realm.

…

At present, the entirety of the Buddha Realm was protected by a world barrier which was nearly impervious to external force.

Adding more to its defence, the Buddha Realm also had a Great Formation.

A formation more dreadful than any advanced Formation Yu Zi Yu had encountered before.

Yu Zi Yu reckoned that it was like the famous Guardian Formation of the Buddhist Sect, the Eightfold Stupa Formation.

So long as this Formation wasn’t broken, the Buddha Realm would be out of reach.

“Formations may pose difficulties for others… but to me, they are nothing.” Yu Zi Yu quietly smiled to himself.

As far as he was concerned, even the most formidable Formation was no different than level ground beneath his feet.

The Imperial Artifact, the Sixteen Holy Wings, was a force to be reckoned with. Hailed as the Wings of Freedom in legends, it could soar to the highest Heavens and breach into the Netherworld, unbound and unhindered. It treated Formations as though they did not exist.

However, Yu Zi Yu had no intention of wielding the Sixteen Holy Wings. This was the Invasion of the Void, and naturally, it demanded the power of the Void.

As for the power of Void…

At the thought of the next course of action, a cold smile involuntarily tugged at the corner of his lips, as a look of anticipation gleamed in his eyes.

“Solitude… I leave it to you.”

“Yes, Lord Hegemon,” came a reply, as ripples spread into the surroundings, and a figure slowly emerged from behind Yu Zi Yu.

The figure was tall and slender, and possessed an extremely pure and refined countenance. Upon his head, faint scars from the Buddhist tonsure could be found.

His entire bearing was solemn, devout; like a pilgrim.

This was none other than the Sacred Son of Buddha whom Yu Zi Yu had slain.

He had deliberately preserved the body intact for this very day.

At this moment, if one looked closely, they would notice a violet fissure splitting open between the brows of the Sacred Son of Buddha.

*Rip…* The fissure widened little by little, revealing a vivid, living violet eye.

The eye looked strange, sinister, and terrifying.

It was One-Eye, who used to be a Cyclops, now reborn.

He had abandoned his decayed body to parasitize the Vajra Body of the Sacred Son of Buddha.

And thanks to this, he had stepped into Tier-6, becoming one of Yu Zi Yu’s hidden aces.

“How much of this Sacred Son of Buddha’s power have you managed to digest?” Yu Zi Yu asked with a note of curiosity.

“50… maybe 60%.” A wicked chuckle escaped him, and the purple gleaming at the Sacred Son of Buddha’s brow brimmed with restless excitement.

The man was as his name implied. The single violet eye between his brows. That was his true self.

Now, having parasitized the Sacred Son of Buddha, he had spent a hundred years slowly mastering 50-60% of that prodigy’s former strength.

However, even this 50-60% strength of Sacred Son was more than enough for him to reign supreme among his peers.

After all, the Sacred Son of Buddha was no ordinary figure. Across the vast cosmos, he had been a peerless genius. One painstakingly nurtured by the Buddhist Sect, who had poured countless resources into his cultivation.

Thus, one could well imagine what grasping half of such a prodigy’s strength meant.

In a certain sense, it was akin to seizing nearly half the inheritance of the Buddhist Sect itself.

If word of this ever reached them, the entire Buddhist Sect would tremble.

However, now was not the time to dwell on such matters.

At this moment, One-Eye brought his hands together, as if in prayer, radiating a solemn aura. Around him, rings of Buddhist light blossomed, and a faint shadow of a vast Buddha Kingdom shimmered into being.

“How is it, Lord Sovereign?” With a strange grin, he boasted like a child showing off a treasured toy.

“Not bad at all…” Yu Zi Yu nodded in approval.

Were it not for that unnerving violet eye gleaming so vividly between his brows, Yu Zi Yu might have believed the real Sacred Son of Buddha had been resurrected.

However, this was precisely the terror of the Void Clan’s parasitism, it gave them the ability to perfectly steal strength.

Even from a dead body, an empty husk, they could extract the legacies bound within the flesh.

For instance, the Sacred Son of Buddha’s Minor Divine Ability, Indestructible Vajrapani Body was perfectly retained.

Even his near-innate Divine Ability, Buddha Kingdom in the Palm, remained partially intact.

Of course, much had been lost, especially the esoteric arts of the mind: very few had been retained.

After all, it was a mere corpse, an empty husk possessing power alone. Attempting to steal more of the legacy was simply unrealistic.

However, even the physical inheritance alone… was more than sufficient for Yu Zi Yu’s purposes.

“You should be able to lead me into the Buddha Realm?”

“But of course.” With palms pressed together, as if he were truly a devout monk, the delicate youth before Yu Zi Yu spoke softly, “Lord Sovereign, please…”

As he stepped forward, Buddhist radiance flared, wrapping One-Eye’s entire being in golden light.

The phantom of the Buddha Kingdom manifested around him as he pressed himself against the world barrier.

And, to one’s astonishment, the barrier did not resist. His contact didn’t trigger the world barrier’s alarm, nor did it trigger an attack from the Formation.

Just ripples spread through the world barrier and formation alike, like water welcoming back a fish to the sea.

Bit by bit, One-Eye slipped within the Buddha Realm.

“Even after so many years… the Buddha Realm could never reject me,” mimicking the tone of the Sacred Son of Buddha himself, he smirked in triumph.

“Indeed…” Yu Zi Yu nodded in agreement. And with the path opened, he too slipped silently into the Buddha Realm.

Of course, this owed much to his own craft.

By perfectly hiding his aura, he avoided detection. Otherwise, even with One-Eye’s passage, his arrival would have shaken the Buddha Realm to its core.

However, now…

Raising his eyes slowly, he gazed upon the tranquil, serene expanse before him—this world of peace and light, like a paradise on the far shore.

And Yu Zi Yu’s lips curved with a hint of amusement. “An invasion from the Void… are you truly prepared?”
