*Boooom…* A thunderous shock suddenly erupted from a corner of the Void.

Following the source, one would see a figure garbed in violet, six wings unfurled, sweeping across the emptiness like a divine comet, vanishing into the deepest reaches of nothingness.

It was Yu Zi Yu… the Lord of Original Sins, the Hegemon who ruled over all within the endless Void.

“I wonder what those little ones have been up to?” A rare chuckle stirred his lips, tinged with curiosity. For some time now, he had not seen Formless, Arsenal, Zi Lian, and the others.

The Void was unlike the universe.

Here, nothingness was everything. Vast, desolate, with lifeforms few and far between.

Such a place, naturally, bred only monotony. Most Void Creatures chose to hibernate for ages…

…

However, Yu Zi Yu’s Void Emperors were different.

Perhaps it was his influence, or perhaps they had simply grown restless: either way, none of them had taken to the path of endless hibernation. Each had cultivated strange, personal hobbies.

For instance, Formless, in her gothic lolita form, spent all day playing with her dolls.

Arsenal, as always, tinkered with one flamboyant weapon after another.

*Tch, tch…* Yu Zi Yu smacked his lips in amusement. “Surely… they can’t still be the same? One with her dolls, the other with his toys of war…”

Skepticism flickered in his eyes as the rhombys-shaped crystal deep within them blazed with sudden brilliance.

*Boooooom…* In an instant, countless layers of space folded before him.

Stepping forward, Yu Zi Yu traversed vast swathes of the cosmos in but a heartbeat.

Such was the power of the Principle of Space, it allowed one to turn a chasm of millions of kilometers into the mere distance of a single thought.

…

Not long after…

In the deepest recesses of the Void, upon a vast, boundless continent, Yu Zi Yu’s figure slowly descended.

His gaze swept over the land, now dyed entirely violet. His gaze seemed to transcend space itself, as he gazed on several grand palaces scattered across the continent.

Each palace was unique. Some were like ancient fortresses, others resplendent as divine halls. However, each and every one of them, despite their outer appearances, exuded a dreadful majesty.

And within their halls resided the most fearsome of the Void’s children, the Original Sins.

Formless, Arsenal; the Fallen Angel of the Void, Avril; Envy, Zi Lian…Each and every one a terrifying existence of Tier-6.

Adding more to their dread, upon joining Original Sins, every one of them had received a Void Artifact, bonded to their very essence.

Once these Artifacts matured, ascending to the rank of Imperial Artifacts… the peak combat strength of Void Clan would likely rival that of the universe itself.

This was the dreadful potential of the Void, a civilization lurking behind the curtain of the universe.

And now, the guiding light of this civilization was none other than Yu Zi Yu, the Void Hegemon who transcends all.

*Hehe…* With a cold chuckle, he six wings upon his back unfurled mightily.

*Boooooom…* Vast waves of aura erupted, surging like a storm-tossed sea, sweeping across the entire continent from where he stood.

“What’s that?”

“It’s the Boss!”

“Hurry, the Boss has returned!”

…

Cries of excitement echoed one after another, each voice brimming with barely contained fervor.

Simply because, after endless years of boredom, the Hegemon they revered had finally come home.

“Brother… you’re back…” Even before her figure emerged, an endless violet mist came rushing. Then, within Yu Zi Yu’s smiling gaze, a petite silhouette stepped forth from the haze—a girl wearing a violet gothic dress, clutching a doll in her arms. Her face was delicate as porcelain, her eyes brimming with joy, shimmering with barely concealed delight.

She was none other Formless, perhaps the most mysterious of all Original Sins.

Her methods were strange. Her powers, unfathomable. Just then, a voice, sultry and dripping with allure, rose from behind Yu Zi Yu, “Boss… I’ve missed you so much…”

Just as the words faded, a pair of jade-like arms slipped around his waist from behind.

It seemed like an expression of affection, yet also like a declaration of ownership.

And this figure was none other than Avril, the Fallen Angel of the Void.

She was quite a peculiar one. Not only had her energy been corrupted, but even her heart and mind seemed to have followed suit. To the point that she now clung to Yu Zi Yu with near-obsessive tenacity.

But perhaps it was only natural.

According to Avril herself, the Fallen Angels of the Void revered strength above all. The greater the power, the greater their fascination.

Even an enemy was no exception.

And so… her infatuation with Yu Zi Yu could hardly be questioned.

However, Yu Zi Yu was skeptical of her explanation.

After all, toward others this woman was aloof to the point of frost.

A faint smile tugged at his lips. With a sweep of his wings, he brushed away her embrace, turning with an amused gaze. “How have these last years treated you?”

“Boring. Unbearably boring.” Crossing her arms before her chest, Avril pouted with feigned grievance.

“Was it really so dull…?” With a trace of suspicion in his voice, Yu Zi Yu’s gaze swept to the other figures now gathering.

“Compared to the grand feasts of the other side… this place is dull indeed.” A cold grin curved across the lips of Envy as he spoke with emotions.

“That’s true… I’ve gone far too long without adding a new doll to my collection…” Formless, in her gothic lolita disguise, raised a hand, displaying a doll, crafted from the body a Tier-6. Her innocent smile belying the horror it implied.

“I see…” Exhaling a heavy sigh, Yu Zi Yu’s lips twisted in a helpless smile.

[As I suspected, my actions have stirred something long-buried in them. Awakened the hunger in their bones. But that’s okay too. Hunger is no curse, it’s the very essence that defines them. Born of the Void, they were bred to hunt the Myriad Races of the universe. And now, by taking them there, I’ve shattered their shackles, loosened the demons within their hearts.]

After a brief exchange of greetings, Yu Zi Yu wasted no further time. His expression sharpened, his voice cutting straight to the marrow, “Prepare yourselves. In due time, we will once again step into the universe…”

At his words, the figures around him suddenly jolted and their eyes ignited with blinding brilliance.

Even the Third Void King, Envy, licked his lips with barely restrained anticipation.

“Another hunt…?”

“Yes…” Yu Zi Yu nodded. The next moment, his face turned serious, and his voice heavy, “But this time, you’ll have to be extra careful… We will not be indulging in petty skirmishes as before… we will be waging a true war.

And the reason I call it war is simple. Our prey, the target of this hunt, is one of the most fearsome forces in the universe…”

His voice dropped lower, and every syllable resounded with solemnity. “The Buddhist Sect.”
