Seated high upon the throne, overlooking the figures below, Yu Zi Yu slowly opened his mouth and asked, “Can someone explain the situation with the Buddhist Sect to me?”

Before entering the grand hall, Yu Zi Yu had briefly caught wind of the words ‘Buddhist Sect.’

However, he couldn’t catch the exact details, thus he couldn’t help but ask.

“Reporting to the Demon Emperor…” Stepping forward, Nine Tails gave a concise explanation, “Recently, there has been some unusual activity in the Void. And some rumors began to circulate, saying that a Hegemon has appeared in the Void, and not just any Hegemon.

According to rumors, this Void Hegemon is said to have slain the Buddhist Sect’s Sacred Son. Not only that, but he’s also established an organization known as ‘Original Sins’ and is now exacting vengeance on every force that once invaded the Void.

Currently, the Buddhist Sect, likely the next major target, is reaching out for help… No, to be more precise, they’re rallying various Forces to encircle and annihilate the Void Clan.”

…

Listening to Nine Tails’ report, Yu Zi Yu’s eyes gleamed with realization.

[So in the end, it’s due to me.]

*Hehe…* Yu Zi Yu chuckled to himself, but he chose not to say anything further.

He had no intention of telling the Demon Court that he was the ruler of the Void, who had transcended everything in the Void.

Not because he didn’t trust them, but for their own sake.

After all, knowing too much, more often than not, could become a burden.

And these burdens could affect cultivation, mental state, and much more.

Of course, some who truly understood Yu Zi Yu had likely already guessed.

For example, not far away, Golden Monkey’s eyes glimmered with a deep, unreadable light.

‘Have you guessed something?’ Yu Zi Yu silently mused, then turned his gaze toward Nine Tails once more and asked solemnly, “So… a Hegemon has appeared in the Void now?”

Feigning shock and surprise, Yu Zi Yu played his part well. His expression was genuine and full of intrigue.

However, a moment later, he shook his head and let out a soft scoff, “Even so… what’s there to fear about a mere Void Hegemon? No matter how powerful he is, it’s just a Hegemon.”

“Master…” Suddenly, a voice rang out.

At the same time, the nearby Shalira, Yu Zi Yu’s Eldest Disciple, stepped forward with a concerned expression, and stated, “Master, even with your unmatched power, please don’t underestimate this Void Hegemon. Rumor has it… he might be the bearer of a Supreme Principle. He’s even said to have crushed the projection of the Buddhist Sect’s Imperial Artifact, the Great Thunderclap Monastery, and clashed head-on with the Dwarves’ legendary Divine Forge Hammer…”

“Oh? Is that so…” Drawing out the words, Yu Zi Yu somehow suppressed the slight curve rising at the corner of his lips.

“If that’s true, then this Void Hegemon… may indeed be worth taking seriously.”

However, before anyone could breathe a sigh of relief, Yu Zi Yu’s tone changed once more, “But that’s all he’s worth. Just enough to be taken seriously.”

“Uh…”

A collective silence followed.

Everyone couldn’t help but be shocked.

For some reason, hearing this voice, their Master, brought the crowd an inexplicable sense of peace.

“Could it be that Master’s gains during seclusion far surpassed our expectations?”

Shaken by Yu Zi Yu’s nonchalant attitude, Bosun couldn’t help but wonder.

[Indeed, Master has become far more unfathomable than he was a hundred years ago. I’ve already stepped into Tier-6, but I still can’t sense Master’s aura. It’s like Master has fused with Heaven and Earth, and at the same time, not in this plane. It’s so elusive. Just this alone spoke volumes of Master’s prowess. This isn’t just a gap in strength anymore. It’s an unbridgeable gulf.]

…

At this moment, Yu Zi Yu had no idea what was going through everyone’s minds. His lips curved into a subtle smile as he glanced around at the crowd and ordered, “Since this Arhat, Dragon Tamer, is so insistent on seeing me… then let’s meet him.”

As he spoke, Yu Zi Yu turned his gaze toward the nearby Ling Er and added, “You arrange the time.”

“Understood, Master.” Ling Er replied with a gentle smile.

“En…” Yu Zi Yu nodded his acknowledgment.

But as a matter of fact, he didn’t seem particularly concerned about this matter.

After all, while the Buddhist Sect possessed unfathomable depth, the current Demon Court was no pushover either.

Just the powerful auras he could sense now… had more than doubled compared to before.

And that didn’t even include those terrifying powerhouses still in seclusion deep within the Nine Realms, like Bull Demon, White Tiger, Golden Ant.

Each and every one of them was a fearsome Tier-6 Overlord.

With such strength, the Demon Court would likely not lose out to even the oldest monsters hidden within the Buddhist Sect.

Of course, for now, there was no need for the Demon Court to enter direct conflict with a behemoth like the Buddhist Sect.

With the Void Clan openly drawing all attention, the Demon Court simply needed to continue growing quietly in the shadows.

As for Yu Zi Yu himself, what he needed to do now was maintain a delicate balance, using both the Demon Court and the Void Clan as blades to gradually devour the Myriad Races of the cosmos.

…

After briefly discussing the situation with the Buddhist Sect, Yu Zi Yu shifted the conversation to other Forces: the Heavenly Court, the Shadow Clan, and the Elemental Clan.

And everything was just as he had expected…

The Shadow Clan and the Elemental Clan had essentially been erased from the Western Sector.

Aside from a few stray stray members discovered in Lesser Sectors, they were rarely spotted elsewhere.

As for their homeworlds, the Shadow Realm and the Elementara, they had both already fallen under Demon Court’s control.

The only Force that had proven slightly more troublesome was the Heavenly Court.

Even during the last campaign, when Yu Zi Yu had issued a decree and the Demon Court mobilized its full force to attack them, the Heavenly Court still managed to retreat a large portion of their forces, preserving their core foundation.

Even so, the Demon Court had still managed to deal a near-fatal blow to the Heavenly Court, leaving four Tier-6 Overlords severely injured.

Furthemore, one of their Tier-6s from the Twenty-Eight Constellations had even fallen in the battle, slain by none other than the Demon Court’s Shea.
