With Slytherin guarding from the outside, and Auris’ all-pervasive surveillance keeping a close eye from inside, the Celestial Realm had truly become an ironclad fortress.

However, few truly realized this fact.

Only a handful of Elders of the Oracle Clan could faintly perceive the true terror of the Demon Court.

“The Demon Court…” murmuring softly, several white-haired figures could not help but lift their gazes toward the farthest edge of the sky, where a bright Moon hung above the towering Osmanthus Tree.

Silvery moonlight poured down, illuminating the entire realm. However, hidden within that seemingly ordinary glow was the faintest trace of violet.

The white-haired figures exchanged knowing smiles.

But their smiles did not last long.

*Tap…tap…* Amid the sound of approaching footsteps, a figure emerged in the distance.

The figure was extremely strange. It was a dog but with three heads.

While its appearance was indeed extremely ferocious, the aura it exuded was equally extraordinary.

Faintly, it gave the impression as if it did not belong to this universe.

This was none other than Lupin, one of the three infamous mutant beast cubs of the past.

Each of them possessed their own destiny. And even the one with the weakest fate, Lupin, had awakened an exceptionally noble Bloodline: the Hellhound, Cerberus.

According to the legends, Cerberus was the guardian of Hell. It had three massive heads, each baring blood-red maws filled with fangs. Not only was it savage in appearance, but it was equally formidable. Bloodthirsty, cold, and merciless, it was a Demonic creature in every sense. The legends claimed that it did not hail from Hell itself, but from a world even more dreadful.

Adding more to its terror, its appearance had been distorted by space, making it look extremely vicious and terrifying. Not only did it have three heads, but also had a snake’s tail. Furthermore, venomous snakes coiled across its head and back, hissing among its fur.

Of course, Lupin had not yet awakened to the level of the legendary Cereberus. At present, only part of his Bloodline had been awakened, just enough to grow a third head.

Each head had a mind of its own, and were capable of having independent thoughts. They could converse with each other.

Each commanded different powers. So, in a sense, Lupin could be considered as three Half-Step Overlords sharing one body.

…

And now, with a huge grin, Luping’s three pairs of eyes turned toward the white-haired elders. He then addressed them in a hoarse, rasping voice, “Elders of the Oracle Clan, why didn’t you inform us of your visit? You’ve robbed us of the chance to properly welcome you.”

Without regard for their surprise, he went on, swaying his heads, “Please, Lord Divine Monkey has been waiting for you.”

“Ah…” A moment of silence fell upon the Elders of the Oracle Clan. They exchanged glances with each other, smiling wryly in resignation.

[The Demon Court’s intelligence network is truly terrifying. Even our arrival was instantly detected.]

*Haaaa…* Heaving a heavy sigh, the leading Elder waved his hand, and acquiesced, “Very well, let’s go.”

Saying so, this white-haired Elder shot a glance at Lupin, then he offered a rare advice, “Your True Form is that of Cereberus of Hell. If you ever find the Dark Aconite that grows there, it can awaken your Bloodline fully, allowing you to complete your transformation.”

“…” Lupin flinched slightly.

He gave the Elder a complex look, before offering his gratitude, “Many thanks… Elder.”

…

The Oracle Clan had always been kind-hearted. It was one of the reasons they had managed to survive for so long in the universe.

Most of the members of the Oracle Clan had white hair, due to having revealed too many secrets of Heaven.

In a sense, their Clan was quite recognizable.

However, their white hair was not the kind that came with old age. They were silvery-grey, with a strange, crystalline luster.

Now, led by Lupin, these silver-haired Elders made their way toward the palace of Golden Monkey.

Not just anyone could hope for an audience with the Demon Emperor.

In fact, most of the powerhouses of the Myriad Races sought audience with the figures like the Ten Divine Beasts under the Demon Emperor, or Princess Ling Er first. Establishing good relations with them was as good as establishing good relations with the Demon Court itself.

For example, Mountain Titan of the Titan Clan had crossed paths with Sarcosuchus in battle. What began as blows traded had turned into mutual respect, and now the two shared a close friendship. So, now the Titan Clan was heading straight toward the palace where Sarcosuchus resided, partly to greet him, but more importantly, to probe for information about the Demon Emperor, so that they would not accidentally say something they should not.

…

When this point was raised before him, a rare smile appeared on the cold and taciturn face of Sarcosuchus, before he offered his advice, “Speak less and do more… Lord Demon Emperor doesn’t like people who talk too much.”

“Talk too much?” Mountain Titan’s expression twisted strangely as he suddenly clamped a hand over his mouth.

After all, he indeed talks a lot.

However, that wasn’t his fault; he was just loyal and warm-hearted. To him, everyone was a brother. And in his opinion, how could one call someone ‘Brother’ without exchanging a few words?

[Looks like, when its time to meet the Demon Emperor, I’d better keep my mouth in check…] With that thought in mind, the Titan Clan, under Sarcosuchus’s arrangements, finally settled in the Celestial Realm.

…

Meanwhile, on the other side… White Tiger, another of the Divine Beasts, personally welcomed the Three-Eyes Divine Clan.

The Heavenly Eye on his brow was, in fact, the eye of a member of the Three-Eyes Clan…

Now that a chance had presented itself before him, how could he not meet others of that Race?

He also wanted to see for himself what special abilities other Three-Eyes Clansmen’s Heavenly Eyes possessed.

As for whether the Three-Eyes Clan might mind the fact that the Heavenly Eye at his brow had once belonged to one of their own?

[Well… surely they wouldn’t care, right? After all, it’s only an ordinary Heavenly Eye, not like the Supreme Heavenly Eye of Master’s.]

Besides, White Tiger was quite cunning. In both subtle hints and casual words, he gave the impression that the Heavenly Eye on his brow was something he had cultivated himself.

This, in turn, earned the admiration of quite a few from the Three-Eyes Clan.

After all, for an outsider to cultivate a Heavenly Eye was more than a hundred times harder than for someone born in their Clan.
