The Human Clan, a terrifying Race that was once hailed as the ‘Strongest Race of All Ages.’

Even with the seal imposed by the Heavenly Dao that had heavily restricted their potential in the form of a genetic lock, it did nothing to diminish their fearsome nature.

One only needed to look at the Humans of Earth, whose evolution had been driven by an unyielding pursuit of knowledge through the observation of all things.

Unable to cultivate their bodies, they leaned toward developing technology.

In barely a hundred years, they had advanced their technology to the point where they could ‘shatter a planet.’

From this alone, one can imagine the terrifying nature of the Humans.

The terrifying nature of this Race lay not only in their closeness to the Dao, but also in the deep resilience hidden deep within their Bloodlines and their wisdom, which few Races could hope to match.

Thus, even with their potential sealed away by the genetic locks, they would rise again.

It was only a matter of time.

In fact, during the last incident, when the Demon Court’s subordinate, Black King, a Neo Human, shattered his genetic lock and stepped into Tier-6, the Human Clan’s fate seemed to have been changed.

In the decades since, geniuses have sprung up across all Human Forces.

And these prodigies, their aptitude was only a bit lower than the heroes of old, from the days before their potential was sealed by the genetic lock.

Because of this, the prophets of the Human Clan had already foretold that ‘The age of the Human Clan was coming again.’

Of course, the Myriad Races of the universe were unaware of this.

If they were to learn that the Human Clan, the dreaded race of the past, was showing signs of recovery, they would surely begin preparing early, perhaps even unite to suppress them. After all, with their inherited memories, they know full well just how terrifying Humans could be.

…

However, what that old man and young man from Sword Sect did not know was that their every move was already under the surveillance of the Demon Court.

“These two are rather interesting…” A voice murmured with amusement, as several figures stood with arms crossed, gazing quietly at a screen not far away.

On the screen, the old man and the youth were staring up at the sky.

Though their voices could not be heard, the Demon Court had long since prepared a cadre of lip-readers.

Thus, their entire conversation was laid bare to them.

This was, of course, because they were careless, choosing not to converse using telepathy. Otherwise, even the Demon Court would have found it difficult to eavesdrop so silently.

As a matter of fact, the Demon Court’s intelligence network was currently led by Auris.

The Demon Court’s intelligence network wasn’t that famous, but its obscurity was only due to the fact that its reach did not extend into the wider world.

But within the Demon Court, and even across the Celestial Realm, it was unmatched, penetrating every nook and corner of the Demon Court’s dominion.

And this was pushed to an extreme when the Demon Court created its own ‘Demon-Revealing Mirror,’ modeled after the power of Observer, a Void Creature who bore the mark of Knowledge.

The Heavenly Court’s Demon-Revealing Mirror was known to all the Myriad Races, but few had ever heard of the Demon Court’s Demon-Revealing Mirror.

It was an Artifact that had the power to deconstruct and analyze every being’s information, allowing it to discern the truth of all things.

And where was this mirror?

If one looked up and gazed toward the deepest reaches of the sky, at the circular object, resembling the moon, atop the crown of the Immortal Sweet Osmanthus, everything would be clear.

Though it seemed to rise in the east and set in the west, in truth, it silently illuminated the entire Celestial Realm.

That moon was actually the Demon Court’s Demon-Revealing Mirror. Underneath its hidden violet radiance, all the truth was laid bare.

A Tier-6, especially one such as the old man, a unique lifeform that had fused with a Divine Artifact, shone like a candle in the night: dazzling and impossible to miss.

Thus, the Demon Court’s intelligence network scattered throughout the Celestial Realm also captured it, and even monitored him at all times.

After all, this is the Celestial Realm, the Demon Court’s very heartland. And the Supreme Lord of the Demon Court was an enlightened Divine Tree.

Thus, every blade of grass, every tree was his eye.

Even the ants crawling along the ground were members of the Ant Clan.

Furthemore, to avoid detection, the Ant Clan sent only their most elite ants, who were so excellent in gathering intelligence. They were extremely ordinary ants, so ordinary that none would suspect them.

However, in the ants’ line of sight lay the pinnacle of Earth’s Human technology: nanocameras.

With such measures, it was no wonder the Sword Sect’s pair of experts got caught.

As a matter of fact, they were not the only ones under suspicion, many others shared the same fate.

…

In the deepest part of the Celestial Realm, countless screens remained suspended in the air, displaying images from various corners of the Celestial Realm.

At a rough glance, there were thousands of such screens.

Which meant that there were at least several thousand beings concealing their cultivation in the Celestial Realm.

Three-Eyes Clans, Celestials, Elves…

One could instantly recognize the many races among these concealed powerhouses.

As for the old man and the youth, after checking the records, their identities were roughly determined as well.

“This old man has completely fused with a Tier-7 Spirit Sword, becoming inseparable with it. He can neither be considered a man, or a sword. If I’m not mistaken, he should be a member of a very mysterious Force of the Human Clan, known as Sword Sect. And he is cultivating the exclusive technique known as Unity of Man and Weapon…”

“It’s said that when this technique is cultivated to its extreme, one will end up like him, neither man nor sword, but possess terrifying strength,” a Human who appeared to be a senior intelligence officer took the initiative to explain.

“So these two are from the Sword Sect…” Auris muttered with interest as he stared at the two figures in the image.

“I can’t be certain… but there’s a 70-80 percent chance.” After a moment’s thought, the intelligence officer gave his precise assessment:

They had trained in the Sword Sect’s exclusive technique, the Unity of Man and Weapon. Their cultivation was already at Tier-6. Apart from a top-tier Forces like the Sword Sect, what other Force could nurture someone to such a level?

As for the possibility that this technique had been lost and picked up by some outsider who then cultivated it to Tier-6, that probability was simply too low.

Still, unlikely as it was, the officer factored it in nonetheless.

“I understand…” Auris nodded his acknowledgement. He clearly understood what the officer meant.

Then, glancing at the row upon row of figures standing in the distance, Auris gave the order with practiced ease, “Classify these two as S-rank priority surveillance targets. Keep an eye on all times. “

“Yes, Commander Auris.” As everyone accepted the command in unison, a few more individuals were added to the Demon Court’s ever-watchful surveillance list.
