“Time… Space… are all dimensions…” A faint whisper slipped from Yu Zi Yu’s lips, and in that instant, the very Spacetime around him quivered.

An inexplicable, arcane aura began to ripple outward, stirring the fabric of existence.

And along with it, wisps of Spacetime Energy began to converge from all directions.

Had one been watching closely, they would have noticed a subtle transformation in Yu Zi Yu’s eyes, deep within his pupils, a clock and a rhomboid crystal had begun to rotate, slowly at first, then faster and faster.

However, this… was merely the beginning.

As Yu Zi Yu delved further into his simulation, a vague and indistinct silhouette began to take shape behind him.

It was a Humanoid figure.

And upon closer inspection, one would discover that it was his third body, the one he had long since fused into his True Body: the Void Elf Form, with long, elegant ears twitching every so slightly, and a handsome, dignified face etched with sharp features,

“Void Elf Form..,” Yu Zi Yu murmured as a subtle smile tugged at the corner of his lips.

Simply because, in that moment, he was struck by an amazing idea.

And if things played out the way he imagined… he could very well birth a terrifying new ability.

At Yu Zi Yu’s level, most techniques had long been cast aside.

Only a handful of abilities remained, those that were strange, overwhelming, or absurdly efficient.

And for good reason.

After all, Hegemons like Yu Zi Yu could erase planets from the face of this universe with a mere swipe of their hand. What need did they have for flashy, taxing, or inefficient skills?

Instead, support-type abilities like Life Essence or Enlarging and Shrinking at Will retained their value.

Likewise, his Mist Beasts and necromantic abilities, like the ability to conjure up an army of dead were still worth cultivating.

However, other abilities such as Snow Storm or River of Earth were just useless, but he couldn’t muster himself to discard them either.

Thus, any ability that could bring about his full power. Especially now, just after he’d shouldered the Supreme Principle of Spacetime was invaluable.

He was sorely lacking in abilities that could truly wield the essence of Spacetime.

…

“If that’s the case, then this simulated ability must be rooted in Spacetime itself.”

A glimmer of clarity sparked in Yu Zi Yu’s heart, bringing a subtle smile to his lips.

[Only if it carried the essence of Spacetime will it have the potential to reach terrifying heights.

Only then will it be worthy of true development.]

With this in mind, Yu Zi Yu once again let his consciousness sink into that mystical current of thought, into that sacred realm of insight, as he begun another round of deduction.

Time slowly passed by.

After some unknown period of time, a faint whisper echoed through the air, “Shadow of Spacetime…”

Just as these words left him, the space around him suddenly quaked.

And along with it, a Humanoid figure flickered into view, materializing into reality every now and then, before fading into existence.

If one looked closely at that Humanoid figure, they would discover that it resembled Yu Zi Yu’s Void Elf Form, almost identical in fact, with 70 to 80% likeness.

No, it wasn’t just similar, it was really the Void Elf Form.

However, the current Void Elf Form seemed to have become invisible. Amidst the distorting ripples, its outline blurred, until it finally disappeared into thin air.

Right then…

*Booooom…* Suddenly, one of Yu Zi Yu’s mighty branches lashed out like a whip toward a direction.

*Booooom…* Accompanied by another terrifying roar, the branch halted mid-air as though something had blocked it.

And then…

*Booooom…* Another booming rumble erupted, and Yu Zi Yu’s branch became completely taut, as if some unseen force had grabbed hold of it.

Clearly, there was nothing there, yet somehow, it felt as if an invisible presence was exchanging blows with Yu Zi Yu.

And that was the new ability Yu Zi Yu had just conceived: Shadow of Spacetime. Utilizing the Principle of Spacetime, he positioned the Void Elf Form in an alternate Spacetime Dimension, rendering it undetectable to others yet entirely capable of engaging in combat.

At that very moment, if one followed Yu Zi Yu’s line of sight, they would behold a surreal scene: His Void Elf Form stood within the folds of another Spacetime Dimension, grasping Yu Zi Yu’s branch that had just lashed out, and that too using a single hand.

As the Void Elf Form resided in another Spacetime Dimension, its Time and Space existed in a different dimension.

As such, no one could perceive it.

Thus, from a distance, it looked as though Yu Zi Yu’s branch was flailing in the empty air.

However, the problem was…

*Booooom…* A booming roar thundered across the sky, as the Void Elf Form struck back. It clenched its right fist tightly and fiercely punched out, collapsing the very space around it.

*Tsk tsk…* Clicking his tongue, Yu Zi Yu couldn’t help but marvel at the potential of this new ability.

However, it was still in its infancy, just a prototype.

It would need to undergo much refinement in the days to come.

However, in Yu Zi Yu’s vision, the Shadow of Spacetime should be even more bizarre.

For instance, it wouldn’t just be his Void Elf Form slipping into another Spacetime, even his Azure Dragon Form and Purple Dragon Form could hide themselves within another dimensions.

And paired with the Grand Divine Ability, One Qi Transforms into Three Pure Ones, all three forms would strike from invisible realms.

And thus, enacting Yu Zi Yu’s terrifying power of turning four from one.

Moreover, compared to the ordinary version of One Qi Transforms into Three Pure Ones, Yu Zi Yu’s version was far more mysterious and far more dreadful.

Because his three avatars would each dwell in separate Spacetime Dimensions, launching attacks from the gaps between the realities.

The attacks would be totally silent and invisible, and yet, their force would be undeniably devastating.

A single punch could cause the space to collapse.

A single kick would be like lightning crashing down from the Heavens.

If such devastating attacks were to land on a foe, without any sign or sound, that foe would likely die before even realizing what had happened.

“The true terrifying part of this ability is that the enemy only senses it after the strike has already landed…” Yu Zi Yu couldn’t help but mutter to himself, as he grew increasingly aware of how monstrous this new ability was.

If properly developed, it might very well become a real killer card in his arsenal.

However, there was a catch, the ability put too much toll on his Spacetime Energy.

He had only maintained his Void Elf Body in that alternate dimension for a few minutes, and already Yu Zi Yu felt the exhaustion creeping in.

Still, that was to be expected.

The Spacetime Dimension he had created wasn’t an ordinary alternate dimension.

Strictly speaking, it was a Spacetime Gap, a hidden rift between Time and Space.

Only in such an interstitial realm could the Void Elf Form move undetected and attack without being detected or even sensed until the attack struck the target, thus preserving the horrifying nature of Shadow of Spacetime.

And this Spacetime Gap was an extremely mysterious and secretive dimension of Spacetime.

And in truth, it was the greatest harvest Yu Zi Yu had reaped from this entire simulation.
