I Became a Medical Genius in the 80s

Chapter 595: Chapter 594: Results

The promotional event successfully concluded, with responses yet to be seen. However, several CEOs have approached Ma Tianlai to discuss collaboration agreements, preparing to introduce Heavenly Blessing’s products into their commercial centers as high-end offerings.

Most people wish to introduce regular and intermediate medicine cuisine, but as for advanced herbal cuisine, the price is rather steep, and without understanding the details, they are afraid it might not sell well.

Many plan to test the waters with intermediate medicine cuisine, but Ma Tianlai isn’t willing to choose just anyone.

Beisitian decided not to manage the ensuing matters, as Ma Tianlai signed several deals that weren’t considered significant. It’s evident that the price indeed raises hesitations for many.

Yet Tai Jinglin approached Ma Tianlai to inquire about relevant collaboration matters, expressing interest in purchasing intermediate and advanced herbal cuisine in bulk, and even wanted to focus on promoting advanced herbal cuisine.

However, Beisitian’s current situation is unique, as only she can provide advanced herbal cuisine, making it impossible to focus on it temporarily.

Tai Jinglin wasn’t discouraged; instead, he shifted his strategy, promoting intermediate and advanced medicine cuisine as limited edition products to advocate Heavenly Blessing’s herbal cuisine.

”Brother Tai, what sparked your interest in Heavenly Blessing all of a sudden?” Ma Tianlai said with a smile.

The tea room was tranquil, with the two of them sitting face-to-face, sipping tea, creating a rather pleasant atmosphere.

Tai Jinglin, in his mid-thirties, appeared as if he was in his early thirties, exceptionally handsome and tall, lacking the typical paunch associated with many CEOs, thus embodying the white knight image in many women’s hearts; nevertheless, he remained single.

Ma Tianlai remembered inviting Tai Jinglin to the promotional event, with the two being on good terms despite the age difference, almost hinting at a friendship across generations.

”Wasn’t it your excellent promotional skills,” Tai Jinglin laughed.

Ma Tianlai raised an eyebrow, ”Don’t go playing that card; I know your thoughts. Let me remind you, Doctor Bei is easy to get along with, but she’s very shrewd. If you have too many ulterior motives, it’s easy for people to misunderstand.”

Tai Jinglin chuckled, ”No worries, I merely want to meet some influential figures and contribute better to the domestic market economy. There’s nothing wrong with my actions, yet I’ve always wondered what’s so special about this Doctor Bei that makes you give your all.”

Ma Tianlai chuckled, ”Trying to set me up, huh? That’s precisely Doctor Bei’s charm; I’ve been thoroughly won over by her charisma.”

Tai Jinglin knitted his brows, then relaxed with an enlightened expression, ”Haven’t seen you in years, Brother, and your humor has indeed improved.”

”You wouldn’t believe it even if I told you.”

”I believe you. Doctor Bei certainly has charisma; otherwise, so many high-level military and political figures wouldn’t have attended to support her, with both military and political backgrounds,” Tai Jinglin remarked.

Ma Tianlai remained silent, refusing to disclose any information about Beisitian, no matter the closeness of the relationship.

”So, Brother, how many supplies can you provide me? If it’s too few, we can’t proceed with the promotions,” Tai Jinglin shrugged slightly, his charming face smiled, stunning the waitress who entered.

”I will do my utmost to satisfy your needs, rest assured about that,” Ma Tianlai assured.

Tai Jinglin nodded, aware that he had to confirm with that Doctor Bei first. Once the waitress left, he switched topics.

”Some time later, a foreign guest is coming to the country. I’ll be managing the venue and reception; at that time, I plan to use Heavenly Blessing’s herbal cuisine for hospitality. What do you think, Brother?” Tai Jinglin asked.

”Which foreign guest?” Ma Tianlai inquired.

Ordinarily, Tai Jinglin wouldn’t regard typical foreign guests with much concern.

Tai Jinglin knew he would ask. It was nothing to hide, as it would be covered on the news later on, although it hasn’t entered the preparatory stage yet.

”A member of the British Royal Family, but it’s inconvenient for me to disclose specific identity,” Tai Jinglin replied.

Ma Tianlai nodded without further inquiry, merely saying, ”That’s no problem; we can strive to obtain sponsorship as much as possible.”

This represented a prime opportunity for promotion. Returning to consult with Beisitian, Heavenly Blessing’s herbal cuisine is indeed exceptional. It would be a pity if it didn’t gain recognition.

Following the promotional event, Heavenly Blessing officially came into the public’s view due to the several business family signings. Many sought Heavenly Blessing’s cuisine at the commercial centers prompted by the previous advertisements, though most merely browsed, with few making purchases.

While Teacher Qiu’s family strolled through the mall, they saw Heavenly Blessing’s products, astounded at how the price tags indeed matched the advertisement.

”Your student’s parents aren’t simple, securing gifts even before the release,” Teacher Qiu’s husband commented.

Teacher Qiu agreed inwardly, as they spent so much money hiring her and gave such expensive gifts; she must diligently educate Luo Xuping otherwise, she’d feel embarrassed.

Heavenly Blessing became a hot topic due to its costly price and limited sales. Despite Teacher Qiu insisting the herbal cuisine was effective, few at the school believed her, thinking she was merely assisting the student’s parents with promotion.

Teacher Qiu felt helpless; her young son drank a small cup of pear juice and ceased coughing that very night, demonstrating the efficiency!

Unfortunately, no one believed her.

Teacher Qiu and her husband departed, despite Heavenly Blessing’s cuisine being highly effective; such price points were beyond what their salary class could afford.

Most wage earners were like this, deterred by the price despite Heavenly Blessing offering cheaper herbal cuisine. But when compared to intermediate medicine cuisine, the price gap was so vast that few had the inclination to buy regular herbal cuisine.

The primary reason lies in the credibility of the Heavenly Blessing brand, being new, with uncertainty about its effectiveness. Even regular herbal cuisine isn’t cheap, equalling Tian’s herbal cuisine’s price. If it doesn’t work, it’s simply wasting money.

But during certain afternoon tea meetings, or at certain banquets, Heavenly Blessing’s significance takes on a different dimension.

”Have you heard about Heavenly Blessing’s promotional event?”

”Yes, it seems many notables attended, including those with military and political backgrounds—is that true?”

”It’s true; a friend of my husband’s participated in the event. Media entry wasn’t allowed in the banquet hall, and he secretly took some photos. Guess who’s in the photos?”

”Who?”

”Come on, don’t keep us in suspense.”

After saying this, the lady glanced at Madam Yun, who smiled without saying a word. It was obviously because Secretary Cheng’s family was present; otherwise, she wouldn’t have glanced at her like this.

”Not only Secretary Cheng but also some military generals.”

”Generals? That’s somewhat exaggerated. Are generals so easy to invite? A small company, not yet listed, can invite generals?”
