Peninsula: Director of Public Prosecutions Starts with Daily Intelligence

Liu Zhimin: Catch the thief!!!“Riding my beloved little motorcycle~”

“He’ll never get stuck in traffic~”

Lee Se-hyun was off work. He rode his little donkey with flair, effortlessly cruising through Seocho District, Ningrong Avenue.

The surrounding area was utterly jammed, packed solid. No matter if it was a Maybach, a Porsche, or a Rolls-Royce, they all had to stay put.

Only his little donkey was the true king!

He weaved through the congested roads, and in a moment of inattention, someone suddenly darted out. There was no time to react.

All he heard was a bang~

What a stroke of bad luck~

“Ah! Ahhh!!! My leg!”

Please don’t misunderstand. Lee Se-hyun was riding his Red Hare, which was like cavalry hitting infantry. He couldn’t claim to be entirely unscathed either.

The little donkey’s headlight was smashed, caved in.

The one screaming in agony was, naturally, someone else.

Lee Se-hyun didn’t bother with the little donkey’s injuries; after all, it was family. He parked the vehicle and quickly got off to check on the victim’s injuries.

“Brother! Are you alright?”

The victim cursed, “Sibal, can’t you drive? Are you blind?!”

Lee Se-hyun admitted he wasn’t familiar with this road, but he couldn’t take full responsibility either. This guy darted out like a rat; who could react in time?

“Is it serious? Should I take you to the hospital?”

“No… no.” Kim Kunam refused, enduring the pain to stand up and prepare to run away.

This series of actions left Lee Se-hyun stunned. What was going on?

Could it be that he had encountered what the internet in his past life called a ‘pure and foolish college student’? Someone who gets hit and then thanks the person who hit them.

“Hey, brother, are you really sure you don’t want to go to the hospital? My little donkey can still carry one person. Where are you going? Do you want me to give you a ride?”

At this moment, Kim Kunam had no time to pay attention to Lee Se-hyun. He dragged his injured body and quickly fled, escaping the scene of the crime.

“Catch… catch the thief!!!”

Suddenly, a voice shouted in Kim Kunam’s direction.

A… a thief???

Lee Se-hyun followed the direction of the voice, looking at its owner—a woman wearing a mask and sunglasses, her face completely obscured.

Her features were unclear, but with her long, soft black hair, Lee Se-hyun immediately judged her to be a beauty.

Why? For no other reason than that this beauty was wearing a black halter-neck top paired with camouflage cargo pants, her figure curvaceous and shapely, forming a striking sight.

People with good figures are usually beauties.

Lee Se-hyun watched Kim Kunam, who clearly panicked upon hearing “catch the thief,” and sped up his pace even more.

It was obvious; he already knew what was up and immediately sentenced Kim Kunam to death in his mind.

The brother he hit was a thief who had stolen something from the beautiful woman.

After figuring it out, Lee Se-hyun immediately got on his injured little donkey, riding like the wind, pushing the speed to 30 mph, catching up behind Kim Kunam and shouting.

“Oi, I’m Orange! Stop right now! Don’t run anymore!”

“If you keep running, I’m going to empty my clip!” Lee Se-hyun threatened.

Upon hearing Lee Se-hyun say he was Orange, Kim Kunam ran even harder, not to mention hearing about emptying the clip, which made him run like the wind.

Lee Se-hyun cursed, “Sibal!” He was even ready to empty his clip, and this guy wasn’t scared. Was he Sabo I?

Stealing something would at most mean a few months in jail. Does he really like eating purple eggs that much?

Lee Se-hyun, of course, didn’t have a gun; he was just trying to scare Kim Kunam. Seeing that it didn’t work, and the other party ran even harder.

Seeing Kim Kunam about to duck into a nearby alley, Lee Se-hyun thought, ’Not good.’ If the thief entered the alley, he would be hard to catch.

He adopted an emergency avoidance mode, like repeating an old trick, driving his beloved little donkey at maximum speed, and with a whoosh, Kim Kunam screamed again.

“Ah! Ahhh!!! Ahhh!!!”

Lee Se-hyun shook his head. The little donkey’s headlight was completely shattered. “To maintain the public order of Capital City, you’ve worked hard!!!”

Kim Kunam, hit again, finally couldn’t help but blurt out a curse in his hometown dialect: “You mlg…”

“Holy cow!”

“You’re actually a Xia Guo Ren?”

Lee Se-hyun was surprised and replied in his hometown dialect, also using Xia Guo language.

“You… you too?”

When fellow countrymen meet, they stab each other in the back; they hit their own buddies! They trick their own brothers.

“You sibal thief, you’re really disgracing the Xia Guo Ren. Later, don’t say you’re from Xia Guo; it’s really shameful!” Lee Se-hyun slapped his own face.

“I’m ashamed for you.”

Kim Kunam, hearing this, hung his head in shame. If it weren’t for the pressures of life, why would he do something that tarnished his hometown’s reputation?

Kim Kunam had traveled across The Peninsula, even overstaying his visa, just to find his wife, with whom he hadn’t been in contact for many years.

He hadn’t expected that just a few days after arriving, he would be scammed terribly by a black market agent. He hadn’t eaten for several days, an evil thought arose, his eyes turned red, and he directly stole someone’s bag.

“Axi! You thief…”

The beautiful woman, panting, chased after him, rushing over and kicking Kim Kunam twice, causing him sharp pain.

Perhaps seeing Kim Kunam covered in injuries, after catching her breath, the beautiful woman snatched back her black bag, which had an LV logo on it.

Lee Se-hyun judged her to be a wealthy beautiful woman.

Ryu Jimin looked through her black LV bag. All her documents and belongings were inside. She consciously sighed in relief, then turned to look at Lee Se-hyun, this enthusiastic five-star good citizen.

“Thank you, handsome young man. Next time, Big Sister will treat you to a meal.”

Ryu Jimin looked at Lee Se-hyun. His delicate and handsome appearance, his tall 1.8-meter frame, were exceptionally striking. This level of good looks was not much worse than young idols in the entertainment industry.

Luckily, Lee Se-hyun was there; otherwise, today would have been a disaster. She had a very important commercial performance event in Busan later.

Her ID and everything else were in her bag. Without an ID, she couldn’t even board a plane, let alone make it to tonight’s commercial event.

So she was truly grateful to Lee Se-hyun, this hero sent from heaven, but there was no time to thank him; her flight was going to be late.

Ryu Jimin finished speaking and turned to leave, even forgetting to give him her contact information.

Lee Se-hyun looked at the bustling Ryu Jimin, his mind a black question mark: “Huh? You’re just leaving, all fresh and lively?”

He didn’t even know Ryu Jimin’s name or what she looked like. Her figure, though, was a feast for the eyes… no, he didn’t have her contact information. She was just leaving like that?

Then the little donkey’s eyes wouldn’t have been smashed for nothing.

Kim Kunam breathed a sigh of relief. Fortunately, this woman didn’t want to turn him in to the police; otherwise, if the police discovered his illegal status, he would be deported.

Coming to The Peninsula to find his wife and woman would then become a fool’s dream.

Hearing Lee Se-hyun’s question, Ryu Jimin quickly rushed back, taking out a portable pen and paper.

Ryu Jimin tore off a slip of paper with her contact information and slapped it into Lee Se-hyun’s hand.

“Big Sister has an urgent matter now; I have to catch a flight. I’m really sorry. My contact information is on there. When Big Sister comes back, I’ll properly reward you.”

Ryu Jimin finished speaking and patted Lee Se-hyun’s cheek: “Such a handsome little face.”

Lee Se-hyun was still bewildered, not having reacted. Ryu Jimin’s faint fragrance lingered on his face, a scent of lavender.

He sniffed carefully. Hmm… it could be her natural body scent, but it also couldn’t be ruled out as the scent of hand cream.

Wait, wait? Should this be what he’s currently bothered by?

He… he was actually harassed by a woman!!!

Lee Se-hyun watched Ryu Jimin, who had already taken a taxi and left, then looked down at the slip of paper in his hand. It had a phone number written on it, and then a name.

It clearly read the three characters: Ryu Jimin.

Ryu… Ryu Jimin?

Why did that sound so familiar? Lee Se-hyun felt like he had heard it somewhere but just couldn’t recall.
