Reborn As Super Heiress

Chapter 1831: Chapter 1734: No Acceptance of External Donations

——Miss Huo sold half of her jade mine shares just to give warmth and care to those suffering citizens. Such a selfless person, I hope no one will question or slander her.

——So, today, I am here to clear her name. The thirty billion was paid to her by the Bada Family. I just want everyone to understand one thing: this money was earned cleanly by Miss Huo Sining through her own abilities. I hope everyone will give this kind-hearted girl some peace; she deserves everyone’s respect.

As soon as this video was released, the internet fell silent; no one spoke.

Anyone learning that a girl sold her assets for charity, and donated thirty billion in such explosive news, would feel shocked and unbelievable.

If this news had come from other netizens, it would’ve been laughed at long ago.

But these words came from the mouth of a Myanmar General and were published by ”People’s Daily”. No one would question the authenticity of this matter at such a time.

”People’s Daily” represents government and official authority itself. By first speaking out, ”People’s Daily” demonstrated that this matter is absolutely real, with no exaggeration.

Now, those bots hired by Ge Xinming dared not speak recklessly because they understood that it was impossible to muddy the waters anymore.

”Damn it, this business can’t continue, Ge, I don’t want the remaining money. It’s better you find someone else!”

The leader of the bots directly called Ge Xinming to express their stance.

Ge Xinming felt slapped too quickly; he never expected that this woman surnamed Huo was such a lunatic. It wasn’t thirty dollars, but thirty billion! With so much money, why not do something else good, yet she just donated it, completely insane!

Thinking of all that money being squandered, Ge Xinming felt both jealous and angry, as if it were his own money being spent.

In Ge Xinming’s view, Huo Sining’s behavior was utterly incomprehensible. If he had such money, he would definitely embark on huge projects, unlike Huo Sining’s benevolence. This woman must be crazy!

What Ge Xinming couldn’t understand, many netizens couldn’t either, but it didn’t stop them from admiring Huo Sining. To be willing to donate so much money, this woman is truly bold and carefree!

Moreover, some people felt thirty billion wasn’t impactful enough. Later, Wu Jun, on behalf of Beauty Group, publicly released a semi-annual planning book, clearly marking that the Beauty Fund was initially positioned for impoverished children, struggling students, and lonely elderly. The fund is non-profit, with funding sources from Beauty Group’s Jade Beauty (owned by Huo Sining), Fragrance Beauty, and Red Umbrella Beauty’s total profits.

Seeing the total profits, everyone was even more dumbfounded.

The thirty billion transfer for the jade mine was a one-time deal, but Jade Beauty, Fragrance Beauty, and Red Umbrella Beauty are making profits every day. Given these companies’ current development trends, their combined annual profit exceeds two billion. All this money will be handed over for the Beauty Fund’s operation, which is indeed a gigantic maneuver!

Now, netizens became restless, spontaneously flocking to Huo Sining’s Weibo to leave comments, some apologizing, some praising, some asking how much she made, and others pleading for aid, hoping for donations.

Of course, the most frequent inquiries were about the fund’s account and donation channels. Seeing Huo Sining’s wholehearted charitable acts, many felt greatly impressed and inspired to donate.

After the Guo Meimei incident years ago, many had doubts about the Red Cross Association’s credibility. After the Qingya earthquake, quite a few netizens hoped to lend a hand and donate to the disaster areas.

But wanting to donate and actually donating are different matters; nobody wants their money ending up in officials’ or mistresses’ hands, turning into LV bags or Maserati sports cars.

Now, they finally see a fund that is financially transparent and traceable. These netizens are thrilled, especially since the fund’s owner personally set the example by donating so much money, making them trust Huo Sining’s character, believing their donations to such a fund would genuinely make an impact.

Therefore, netizens actively inquired Huo Sining about donation channels for the Beauty Fund, expressing that once such channels open, they would donate to the Beauty Fund.

In just one day, Huo Sining’s Weibo nearly exploded. Among her previous posts, hundreds of thousands of comments were all asking about donation methods, leaving Huo Sining both amused and exasperated.

When she established the Beauty Fund, Huo Sining hadn’t planned on accepting external donations; she didn’t intend to open donation channels.

However, although she doesn’t plan on accepting external donations, other people can do it.

Recalling Zheng Lixiang’s previous suggestion of a benefit performance, Huo Sining decided to mention it. Taking advantage of the current enthusiasm of netizens, she decided to promote the performance, perhaps facilitating its success.

Huo Sining called Zheng Lixiang to ask for her opinion. Upon obtaining Zheng Lixiang’s approval, she publicly announced the event on Weibo.

——Beauty Fund will temporarily not accept external donations, but if you trust me, you can attend the ”The Legend of the Mermaid” production’s benefit concert a week from now. Direct donation and material contribution platforms will be at the event, and if interested, everyone can show their compassion.

This Weibo post made those eager to donate somewhat disappointed. No one expected Huo Sining to refuse the ready money, but soon, they were relieved.

If Huo Sining really cared about money, she wouldn’t do charity, nor donate all Beauty Group’s profits without hesitation. Compared to thirty billion, what ordinary people donate is insignificant — it adds little and lacks impact.

Moreover, it’s apparent that this girl wants pure and simple charity, without complex relationships, nor any added troubles for herself.
