Reborn As Super Heiress

Capítulo 1816: Chapter 1719: Fujiwara Seiho Is Still Alive

Badasang’s straightforward attitude made Huo Sining have a better impression of this Myanmar General. She secretly thought to herself that once the matter here was settled, she would definitely make time to visit Myanmar again, help this Myanmar General gamble on a mine, and make sure Badasang grabs hold of power, which would be convenient for her future deep cooperation with the Bada Family.

However, these were later plans. Ten days later, Huo Sining and Gu Xu led the Falcon Troop to prepare to evacuate the disaster area. Yet, on that day, several domestic grassroots disaster relief organizations, carrying plenty of relief supplies, arrived at Qing City. At the airport, Huo Sining unexpectedly encountered these people.

Because Huo Sining was wearing camouflage and standing with the Falcon team, the people over there didn’t notice Huo Sining’s side. However, seeing that team of disaster relief volunteers, Huo Sining unconsciously paused.

“What’s wrong?”

Gu Xu was the first to notice something amiss with Huo Sining, curiously following Huo Sining’s gaze.

Huo Sining frowned; within that team of disaster relief volunteers, she surprisingly saw Hattori Keiko’s figure. Huo Sining trusted her eyesight; there was no way she could mistake someone.

But those disaster relief volunteers were clearly sent by the National Red Cross Society. Why would Hattori Keiko appear here and be mixed among the disaster relief team?

Feeling a tug at her heart, Huo Sining thought for a moment and whispered to Gu Xu, “Wait here for a moment, I’ll be right back.”

Gu Xu nodded, and Huo Sining quickly walked toward the restroom, soon invisibly sneaking up to the disaster relief team where Hattori Keiko was.

What was initially just suspicion turned into shock for Huo Sining as she got closer and heard Hattori Keiko speak.

“Noburu, we all feel very sorry for Mieko’s passing, but it’s been such a long time; you should emerge from the shadows. I believe if your sister were still here, she wouldn’t want you to live unhappily like this.”

Hattori Keiko spoke softly to a man beside her.

“I just regret that if I hadn’t made mistakes and been punished by the Master, perhaps during that operation I could have accompanied the Master, and with my abilities, maybe my sister wouldn’t have died.”

The man beside her looked gloomy, and if looked closely, one could see that he had a stiff arm, likely a prosthetic.

Hattori Keiko sighed, “Your sister died for the Master. Without her, the Master surely would have been in grave danger during that operation. Her sacrifice was surely without regret, so you should be glad for her. Her death was worthwhile, and the Master will surely remember your sister’s kindness. Look, isn’t it because of Mieko that the Master brought you out of Shura Path? You should live well in her stead!”

The man silently pursed his lips without speaking.

“Both your sister and my brother were killed by these damned Huaxia people. If we’re really to seek revenge, we should work well for the Master, so your sister’s death isn’t in vain!”

Hatred flashed in Hattori Keiko’s eyes as she glanced at the figures inside the airport one by one.

Initially, just suspicious, Huo Sining found her head buzzing upon hearing the conversation between the two, and a storm brewed in her heart.

The man before Hattori Keiko looked seventy percent similar to Etsuko Misaki, and Hattori Keiko addressed him as Noburu. Huo Sining recalled that back on Awa Maru, Etsuko Misaki did plead with Fujiwara Seiho for a man named Noburu, only to be ruthlessly rejected.

Moreover, Huo Sining remembered that Noburu was Etsuko Misaki’s brother, once sent by Fujiwara Seiho to her villa in the Magic Capital, attempting to steal the Golden Lotus she had fetched from the Eastern Fujian Desert Island.

If the man before her was Etsuko Misaki’s brother, then the ‘Master’ they spoke of was Fujiwara Seiho.

But what was going on? Wasn’t Fujiwara Seiho buried in the underground maze of Divine Tomb Village? Why did it sound like Fujiwara Seiho was not dead yet?!

Huo Sining’s eyes widened in disbelief.

Such a large flood, inside that chaotic underground maze, if it weren’t for her having Space abilities and the Water-Repelling Pearl, under such urgent circumstances when the flood submerged the maze, Gu Xu and Yue Shuwen and others would’ve been trapped and possibly died in that maze.

In such circumstances, how could Fujiwara Seiho still be alive?!

With her mind filled with doubts, this news was too shocking for Huo Sining; she felt unable to process it.

Her gaze landed on Hattori Keiko and this man named Jiang Qisheng Shu. These people with such hatred toward the Huaxia people, yet chose to mix into disaster relief teams, intending to sneak into the Shu region, clearly indicating plans to covertly carry out something.

Huo Sining calmed down and thought, concluding that they surely harbored malicious intent toward the Shu region, prompting her to instantly change her departure plan from Qing City back to the Magic Capital.

Quickly running to Gu Xu, Huo Sining whispered about what she had observed.

Upon hearing that Fujiwara Seiho still lived, a trace of surprise flashed in Gu Xu’s eyes as well, but he soon gathered himself and turned to Huo Sining:

“These two are suspicious, let Falcon and Ouyang Jun head back first, and let’s follow them!”

Initially, Huo Sining planned to act alone, but upon hearing Gu Xu’s words and seeing the determination in his eyes, she awkwardly laughed a few times, agreeing to Gu Xu’s suggestion.

Despite not knowing what Gu Xu and Huo Sining intended, Ouyang Jun and Qin Tian protested a bit but couldn’t overrule Gu Xu’s decision. Ultimately, they obediently followed Falcon and left.

Meanwhile, Huo Sining and Gu Xu rapidly completed their disguise in the bathroom, then discreetly trailed the disaster relief team in returning to the earthquake-stricken area.

However, to Huo Sining and Gu Xu’s surprise, upon reaching Qingya with Hattori Keiko and Jiang Qisheng Shu, there was no suspicious activity from them at all. Daily, they distributed disaster relief supplies to the victims in an orderly fashion, appearing entirely normal.

This left Huo Sining deeply puzzled, wondering if she had made a mistake, whereas Gu Xu became increasingly convinced of their suspicious nature: “Being too normal might be the greatest abnormality. These two disguise their identities and enter the Shu region, suggesting big plans. This calmness might just be them waiting for an opportunity.”

Huo Sining had to admit, Gu Xu’s assessment was accurate, because two nights later, Hattori Keiko and Jiang Qisheng Shu took action.
