Reborn As Super Heiress

Chapter 1829: Chapter 1732: Everyone’s a Detective

Meanwhile, the matter of Huo Sining’s fraudulent donation has not subsided. Although Huo Sining successfully restored her positive image, there are still many reporters who are persistent, hoping to find out how much Huo Sining is planning to donate to Qingya after returning from the earthquake-stricken area. Is there really the alleged eighty million?

Originally, Huo Sining intended to keep her charitable foundation activities under wraps, but after this fraudulent donation incident, her ideas underwent a complete transformation.

She doesn’t do charity for publicity, but she also doesn’t want to be burdened with a bad reputation after pouring her all into it.

Of course, the matters regarding the Beauty Fund shouldn’t be stated by her; it would be more easily accepted by the public if spoken by others.

Huang Hanyun is adept in this area. After discussing with Liu Cheng, she decided to personally go to Qingya to interview a batch of beneficiaries of the Beauty Fund, allowing them to express their genuine feelings which would be more authentic and credible.

Soon after, several videos related to the Beauty Fund’s disaster relief efforts appeared on Weibo. After Gu Xu hired a batch of internet promoters to hype it, combined with Chen Yu’s minor maneuvers in the PR department, the ”Beauty Fund” quickly became a hot topic, successfully attracting the attention of many netizens.

”What’s this Beauty Fund about? Why did it suddenly appear out of nowhere?”

”It’s a charity effort, and now there’s an earthquake in Qingya. They probably want to solicit donations.”

”These days, the number of charity fund organizations is unknown. They all want to falsely use the guise of charity to swindle money. Qingya is so chaotic, and these people still want to profit from the dead. It’s really disgusting!”

”To the person upstairs, your comment is too extreme. Take a look at the videos first; this Beauty Fund doesn’t seem to be soliciting donations and doesn’t accept external funding injections.”

”Not accepting external funding injections, what do you mean by that? How do they survive?”

”I just specifically went to the Beauty Fund’s official website to check it out. Wow, this foundation is amazing; all capital flows are fully transparent, even detailed transport fees are clearly marked!”

”I also looked; this foundation was just established this year and has been operational for less than six months. Yet, it has already helped thousands of people, including impoverished mentally handicapped children and university students. It looks very legitimate.”

”There’s no such thing as a legitimate private foundation. Do you really think anyone in this world does charity without expecting returns? It’s just bookkeeping; such things are all fake. Who wouldn’t be able to do this? I suspect this Beauty Fund is probably an organization used by some officials to launder money!”

”I’m here to clarify the rumors. I’m an accountant, and I also examined the Beauty Fund’s accounts; there are no problems whatsoever. Not only is the capital flow entirely transparent, but the materials are also priced according to the current market rates. Just look at this disaster relief from Qingya; Wahaha bottled water is priced at 0.8 yuan per bottle, instant noodles at 2.5 yuan per tub. Such prices are undeniably wholesale rates, even cheaper than retail, making them an undoubtedly conscientious enterprise!”

”Hearing you all say this, I’m now interested in this Beauty Fund. I’ll go check it out too!”

A group of netizens passionately discussed on Weibo, forming a large group of spectators who rushed to the Beauty Fund’s official website for a look.

Initially, people didn’t believe it, but upon seeing each transaction end with an attachment detailing the beneficiaries’ address and name photos, everyone finally became convinced. This foundation wasn’t the dubious organization or money laundering hub suspected by some netizens.

From doubt to praise, and then to curiosity, slowly, some began focusing on the Beauty Fund itself, with someone finally unable to resist asking.

”This foundation doesn’t appear to be profit-oriented; all the money reaches where it should. They even posted a new charity plan on their official website, intending to donate three billion at Qingya Mei Mountain’s earthquake-stricken area for the resettlement of affected children and elderly. Now, I’m curious, if it truly is a private organization, where is this three billion coming from?”

”Three billion, my goodness, so much money—can it be true? Why do I feel it’s unreliable?”

”Someone just mentioned money laundering, but I didn’t believe it. Now, I sense something amiss; could it really be money laundering?”

”To the person upstairs, are you stupid? If it were really laundering money, what enterprise would stupidly disclose their funds so publicly? Wouldn’t they secretly profit?”

”Stop arguing. I’ve discovered something big! I just went to browse the Beauty Fund’s official website and found there are three linked company websites at the bottom. Guess what I discovered?”

”What did you find? Tell us!”

”The affiliated websites of this Beauty Fund are the official sites of Jade Beauty, Fragrant Beauty, and Red Umbrella Beauty!”

”These websites all contain the word ’Beauty.’ Is there some connection?”

”Bingo! You’re so smart upstairs. I thought the same, so I investigated further. Jade Beauty sells Jadeite, Fragrant Beauty sells spices, and Red Umbrella Beauty is a security company. Incredibly, the legal representative of these three companies is the same person!”

”One person, who is it?”

Upon seeing this, the netizens were taken aback.

Quickly, someone posted the answer, revealing screenshots of detailed information forms from the three companies, with the first line of each image prominently circled in red, capturing a name.

—Huo Sining!

”Are all these companies owned by Huo Sining?”

”Only Jade Beauty has another partner; the other companies are entirely under her name.”

”Wow, I feel like I’ve unearthed something incredible. If all these companies belong to Huo Sining, then perhaps she’s also behind the Beauty Fund?”

”You upstairs must have stumbled upon the truth. Let me show you what I just found!”

An excited netizen posted a mysterious image, saying:

”I’m risking being fired to share this. I work at the Imperial Capital Bureau of Industry and Commerce, and as soon as you mentioned Huo Sining, it clicked for me. At the beginning of the year, I handled a file related to the Beauty Fund you were just discussing!”

”This Beauty Fund is affiliated with the Beauty Group, which just completed its registration procedures in the first half of the year. Under this group, the three companies you mentioned are listed, and the Beauty Fund is also a charitable institution under the Beauty Group.”

”This group, both the legal and sole owner, is none other than Miss Magic—Huo Sining!”
