Reborn As Super Heiress

Chapter 851: Chapter 847: On What Basis

Entering the presidential suite at the top floor of the hotel, Bai Yishan was already waiting in the room. Seeing Wittmore, Bai Yishan couldn’t help but show a look of surprise in her eyes.

However, this emotion only flashed by, and she quickly composed herself. She stood up, stepped forward, and said in fluent French to Wittmore, ”Mr. Wittmore, honored to meet you. Welcome to Huaxia Country as our guest.”

Wittmore was somewhat pleased. He didn’t know Bai Yishan’s identity, but the fact that she spoke French made him quite happy.

”Miss Huo, who is this lady? Is she the translator you hired?” Wittmore had a good impression of Bai Yishan. He was always attracted to elegant and fashionable women, especially confident and strong ones like Bai Yishan.

Huo Sining smiled and shook her head, ”Mr. Wittmore, you’re mistaken. This is Miss Bai Yishan. She is my business partner. We co-own a jade studio specializing in handmade jade jewelry.”

Surprise flickered in Wittmore’s eyes. He had thought that such a young girl like Huo Sining, capable of acquiring such a large batch of balsam, must be relying on her family’s influence and support. However, it now seemed that he might have been wrong.

This Miss Huo, not only trades balsam but also owns a jade studio. This meant that this less-than-twenty-year-old Eastern girl, even if she relied on outside help, certainly had remarkable abilities herself. Otherwise, she wouldn’t have the audacity to both run a studio and trade balsam.

This realization made Wittmore’s previously nonchalant mindset suddenly dissipate. He faintly realized that this trip to Huaxia would not be as simple and easy as he had anticipated.

Sure enough, Wittmore’s guess was soon validated. After the few of them were seated in the living room of the suite, Huo Sining didn’t waste time. Instead, she got straight to the point, gesturing to Wu Jun to bring out the prepared documents.

”Bruce Lee, Sister Yishan, without a translator, I’ll need you both to work a bit harder, and please help translate and convey the meaning of what I’m about to say.”

Bai Yishan and Bruce Lee nodded. Huo Sining then took out two paper documents from her hands, saying, ”Mr. Wittmore, these are the business licenses for Guan Yu Beauty Studio and Fragrance Beauty Raw Material Company. Please take a look first.”

After listening to Bruce Lee’s translation, Wittmore and Auvergne found themselves puzzled about why Huo Sining had brought out business licenses. Though somewhat confused, they did not voice it immediately. Instead, they lowered their heads and took a serious look at the business licenses as instructed by Huo Sining.

After confirming there were no issues with the licenses, the two nodded in acknowledgment.

Having reviewed the business licenses, Huo Sining then took out another ownership certificate from the Forestry Bureau, continuing, ”This is the ownership certificate for the Pili Trees I have. I own their permanent ownership and usage rights, which means I can annually produce over ten tons of Pili oil.”

This left the people in the room even more confused. What was Pili Tree and Pili oil? What did it have to do with their purpose for coming to Huaxia?

Wittmore and Auvergne exchanged puzzled glances, not understanding what Huo Sining was trying to get at with this.

Even Wu Jun and Bai Yishan were confused, unsure what Huo Sining intended by presenting these certificates.

Thus, when they saw this ownership certificate, Wittmore and Auvergne’s team didn’t associate it with the balsam they had come to purchase. Nonetheless, as they needed something from Huo Sining, they gave her the courtesy of looking through whatever she presented, however reluctant they were to waste time.

But they didn’t treat this ownership certificate with the same seriousness as the previous documents, casually flipping through it in a perfunctory manner.

After glancing at the ownership certificate, Auvergne couldn’t hold back any longer and directly asked, ”Miss Huo, we came here for the balsam. Your email mentioned that you have a large supply of it. Can we get to the point?”

It was apparent to Huo Sining that Wittmore and Auvergne did not take the papers she presented seriously or understand her intention, thus not taking it to heart.

However, she wouldn’t do something pointless. She had reasons for bringing these documents to show Wittmore. The less Wittmore cared about the ownership certificate now, the more shocked he would be once he understood its significance later.

Huo Sining didn’t reveal the answer immediately. Teasingly, with a slight smile, she looked at Auvergne and calmly said, ”Mr. Auvergne, please be patient.”

As she spoke, Huo Sining took yet another document from beneath her files and handed it to Wittmore.

”This is my cooperation proposal. I hope to collaborate with your company so that in the future, the brand Guan Yu Beauty can leverage Chanel Perfume Company’s marketing to achieve a win-win situation.”

Symbiosis marketing, also known as tied marketing, refers to the cooperation of two or more brands or companies during promotions to expand their influence.

After all, Chanel is a century-old brand, holding a significant position in the international luxury market. Thus, Huo Sining thought of this collaboration strategy to use Chanel’s brand influence to enter the international market.

One plus one is more than two. If Guan Yu Beauty could conduct marketing tied to Chanel, its effect would be far stronger than tackling the international market alone. Such cooperation would essentially be standing on the shoulders of a giant, almost guaranteeing success.

However, this cooperation proposal was just Huo Sining’s idea alone. Getting Chanel’s agreement would be incredibly difficult.

As Huo Sining had anticipated, after listening to Bruce Lee’s translation and understanding the intent behind the cooperation proposal, Auvergne and his secretary looked at Huo Sining as if she were an idiot.

Wittmore furrowed his brows directly, looking up at Huo Sining with confusion and said, ”Miss Huo, why do you think I would agree to this proposal? You must know such cooperation does not benefit Chanel in any way.”
