Reborn As Super Heiress

Chapter 854: Chapter 850: Ten Tons Every Year?

”Of course, no problem!”

Huo Sining knew what Auvergne was worried about, so she said half-jokingly and half-seriously, ”Don’t laugh at me, this balsam is fine, but the smell of ambergris is not very pleasant. I have a stockpile of this stuff in my hands. It’s like a hot potato. I can’t wait to get rid of it sooner.”

Both Wittmore and Auvergne knew that ambergris smells pretty awful, so they couldn’t help but laugh out loud when they heard Huo Sining’s words.

Huo Sining’s words were an attempt to ease the atmosphere because only she knew that these ambergris were stored in her storage ring and she couldn’t smell a thing. The real reason for selling these items was that they took up too much space in her storage ring.

Her storage ring wasn’t that big, and she might need it anytime. Now that these ambergris could bring her great benefits, of course she couldn’t wait to get rid of them. This way, she would not only add leverage but also free up space in the storage ring.

Huo Sining had a pleasant conversation with Wittmore. Wittmore’s secretary was also quick to act, and soon compiled two contracts based on Huo Sining’s proposal. Huo Sining and Bai Yishan examined the contract terms carefully and signed them after confirming there were no issues.

With the signatures, the cooperation between the two parties officially took effect. Huo Sining smiled and handed one of the contracts to Wu Jun for safekeeping.

Auvergne, thinking the negotiations had concluded and that Huo Sining would take him to see the goods next, became very excited.

However, before he could urge her, Huo Sining took out the forestry authority certificate she had placed on the table: ”Actually, inviting Mr. Witt over this time wasn’t just to discuss the cooperation between Crown Jade Beauty and XiangNai Company.”

Wittmore was stunned. He thought that after signing the contract, his cooperation with Huo Sining was settled, and he felt relieved, ready to ask Huo Sining to show him around S City after viewing the goods. Just as the secretary put the contract away, Huo Sining said this perplexing statement.

This confused Wittmore; he looked at Huo Sining with a puzzled expression: ”Miss Huo, what do you mean by that?”

Huo Sining looked at Wittmore and smiled: ”Balsam is an essential base ingredient for your company’s perfume products. I signed a contract with you, and this time I can provide ten tons of balsam raw material. But this is just a one-time deal.”

Wittmore frowned: ”Miss Huo, there’s no need to beat around the bush. Please speak directly.”

”The Jinshan fire caused a disruption in the balsam supply. Mr. Witt, you must understand what a disaster this fire has brought to the perfume companies in the Philippines and around the world.”

”So many Manila trees in the Philippines were destroyed by fire, and they need to be replanted. But it will take at least three to five years for Manila trees to mature enough for large-scale balsam harvesting.”

”This means that for the next three to five years, the global balsam market will face a shortage, and the competition for balsam supply will continue for three to five years.”

”The ten tons I provided your company can indeed solve a significant problem for you, but after resolving this raw material crisis, what will Mr. Witt do for the next three years?”

Wittmore knew that Huo Sining’s analysis was correct. He vaguely understood her meaning, and his face turned somber. He looked at Huo Sining seriously, as if afraid to miss any expression on her face: ”Miss Huo, what do you mean?”

Huo Sining smiled confidently: ”I mean, Mr. Witt, wouldn’t you like to solve all your problems in one go, once and for all?”

Wittmore’s heart skipped a beat, and his pupils dilated: ”Miss Huo, can you solve this problem?”

Huo Sining didn’t answer Wittmore’s question directly but turned to look at Auvergne: ”Mr. Auvergne, what do you think about the balsam sample I presented to you today? Are you satisfied with its quality?”

Auvergne didn’t know what medicine Huo Sining was selling in her gourd, but he had no complaints about the quality of the balsam samples she showed him:

”Very perfect, this is the highest quality balsam I have encountered in my ten years of procurement experience, it seems as if it was just harvested from the tree, the aroma is rich and very fresh!”

Hearing Auvergne’s satisfied answer, the smile on Huo Sining’s face deepened. She looked up seriously at Wittmore:

”Since that’s the case, if I said I am willing to provide XiangNai Company with ten tons of balsam supply every year and guarantee the quality of the goods to be the same as this sample, Mr. Witt, would you be interested?”

After Bruce Lee translated Huo Sining’s words, Wittmore was completely stunned. He couldn’t help but gasp, looking at Huo Sining in shock: ”What did you say?”

Auvergne and the secretary were also dumbfounded. This time they no longer looked at Huo Sining as if she were an idiot, but as if she were a lunatic.

Where did this lunatic come from? Providing ten tons of balsam of the same quality every year, where did this Oriental woman get her confidence from? How could she guarantee this?

Indeed, how could she guarantee it? This was not only Auvergne’s and the secretary’s thought but also Wittmore’s.

When Wittmore first heard Huo Sining’s words, he was shaken. But he was the head of XiangNai Company after all, and he quickly controlled his emotions, calmed himself down, and looked at Huo Sining with a critical and scrutinizing gaze:

”I admit, the quality of the sample box is perfect, and Miss Huo’s proposal is very tempting and hard to resist.”

Pausing, Wittmore took a deep breath, looked steadily at Huo Sining, and said:

”But why should I believe you? The situation is already tight this year, and it will likely be more severe in the coming years. Miss Huo, how can you guarantee that you can supply ten tons of raw material to XiangNai steadily each year? This is not child’s play, and I don’t believe that you have the ability to make the Philippine government allow you to freely access and control the balsam market.”

Huo Sining looked at Wittmore with a half-smile: ”Mr. Witt, I think you may have misunderstood. I only said that I am willing to supply you with ten tons of balsam each year, but when did I say that my balsam comes from the Philippine market?”
