Reborn As Super Heiress

Chapter 866: Chapter 862: The Plan

After a little commotion, the dishes were finally all served. The few people ate and drank, and after about an hour, they finally got to the main topic.

Originally, Gu Xu had already told the others not to bring any outsiders, but since Song Hui had brought Zhang Shuang, it wasn’t good to chase her out.

Song Hui also realized that his behavior seemed a bit inappropriate, but this guy was always nonchalant and didn’t take Gu Xu’s words too seriously.

Huo Sining was a bit uncomfortable too. She had originally intended to cooperate with Gu Xu alone, but Gu Xu had always been this way and never forgot to include his brothers when there were benefits, which was why they were having this dinner.

If Song Hui and Zhang Shuang had officially settled, it would be fine to speak openly, but now that Song Hui was still chasing her and Zhang Shuang hadn’t agreed, it was a bit awkward.

Zhang Shuang was discerning. She could tell from the looks on their faces that they were about to discuss important matters, so she smiled and graciously pushed her chair back and said:

”This estate looks nice. I heard there are many fun things in the back. Can I go check it out?”

Song Hui felt proud upon hearing how considerate Zhang Shuang was. He immediately stood up, nodding eagerly, ”Of course, I’ll have Uncle Chen show you around the back. This whole area is ours. Feel free to look around. There’s also a fruit garden with ripe watermelons and grapes. Pick some to take home and try.”

Zhang Shuang didn’t give Song Hui any attitude this time. Upon hearing about the fruits, her eyes lit up, and she seemed genuinely interested, nodding continuously. She then followed the estate manager Uncle Chen out.

Seeing Zhang Shuang’s sparkling eyes, Song Hui felt a bit itchy inside, wishing he could go out too. But he understood the gravity of the situation. Seeing the serious expressions on Gu Xu and the others, he figured it wasn’t a small matter, so he had to suppress his excitement and sit back down obediently.

”Here’s the specific situation in Changhua. This is my proposal. Take a look first.”

Gu Xu, expressionless, tossed out a few folders. Each of the Ouyang Jun group took one. When they opened the folders and saw the contents, they were stunned.

”A bloodstone vein? Xu Zi, where did you get this information?”

Gu Xu gestured towards Huo Sining, ”It’s not from me; your sister-in-law discovered it herself. A while back, she went to Changhua and almost got into trouble when she was kidnapped. While being abandoned in the mountains, she accidentally discovered this vein.”

Ouyang Jun and Qin Tian, knowing Huo Sining’s abilities, had no doubts about Gu Xu’s story. But Song Hui was still skeptical, scrutinizing Huo Sining before asking:

”The interests involved with a vein like this are no joke. This isn’t a small matter. Sister-in-law, is your information reliable? How confident are you?”

Huo Sining looked seriously at Song Hui, ”Second Brother Song, have you ever seen me commit to something I’m not sure of? If the interests weren’t so vast, I would have handled it myself. Do you think I’d be sitting here otherwise?”

Song Hui was immediately taken aback by Huo Sining’s words. After thinking about it, he couldn’t refute. Huo Sining was worth over a billion now; if money could settle it, she would have dealt with it long ago. It wouldn’t have been their turn to benefit.

”You don’t need to doubt it. I’ve checked it out myself, and it’s consistent with what Huo Sining said.”

The day Huo Sining, Zhong Zifan, and Liao Song were in the cave and couldn’t use the compass, they wandered aimlessly and almost got exhausted. Later, they found some abandoned iron ore, and Huo Sining unexpectedly uncovered the cave’s secret.

Afterward, she told Gu Xu about it, and from her, he learned about a giant bloodstone vein in an abandoned iron mine in the Yuyan Mountain Range. Gu Xu was immediately intrigued and had someone investigate. Sure enough, he found that a site in Yuyan Mountain had indeed produced iron ore, which had been mined for nearly ten years before being abandoned two years ago.

A mountain nearly hollowed out naturally wouldn’t attract much attention from the local government. A place like that, unlike areas in Yuyan Mountain known for bloodstone, wouldn’t arouse suspicion, making it unexpected that a massive bloodstone vein could be hidden there.

Listening to Gu Xu, Song Hui nodded, his skepticism fading.

”Now the question is, how do we extract these resources? The size and quality of this bloodstone vein might exceed your expectations. If discovered, it might be too much for us to handle alone.”

Huo Sining was now worried about how to transport the bloodstones out of the mountain. With such a large deposit of Da Hong Pao bloodstones, it would be impossible to move them unnoticed. Once excavated, it would definitely draw attention. At that point, they’d be unable to monopolize it. Such a large piece of profit would attract anyone, including the local government in Changhua.

Ouyang Jun and Qin Tian immediately became serious, even Song Hui frowned tightly.

”We’ve run farms and estates before. While Diecuiyuan isn’t well-known, it’s a project we’ve worked on. My plan is to use the Diecuiyuan name. We invest several billion as a group under our names to establish a rural leisure estate for the local government in Changhua.”

”That mountain range is far from Yuyan Mountain, and has long been overlaid with an abandoned iron mine, with no one managing it. As long as we invest a bit, we can contract the abandoned mountain. Surface work like building roads, planting trees, and digging ponds would be enough.”

As soon as Gu Xu said this, Huo Sining’s eyes lit up.

Her main concern had always been this issue, but Gu Xu had solved it in a few words. She had to admit his plan was brilliant.

The abandoned iron mine had no one managing it. This diversion tactic, openly building while secretly transporting, would not raise suspicion in Changhua, allowing them to rightfully contract the mountain’s usage rights. Later, even with the noise of excavation, it wouldn’t attract much attention.

Gu Xu’s suggestion gained the approval of Ouyang Jun and the others. As for profits, Huo Sining naturally took the largest share, with Gu Xu shamelessly allocating fifty percent to his wife while the remaining fifty percent was divided among the four of them.
