Reborn As Super Heiress

Chapter 850: Chapter 846 Wittmore’s Shock

Less than ten minutes after making this decision, Wittmore’s secretary informed him that he had booked a flight to S City leaving in an hour. Wittmore almost immediately packed his bags and, with Auvergne and his secretary, headed straight to the airport.

On the other side, Huo Sining did not expect to receive a call from the Huaxia District agent of the XiangNai Company so soon. The agent informed her that Wittmore was coming to S City to meet her, and upon learning that the head of XiangNai would personally come to negotiate with her, Huo Sining was incredibly shocked.

At this time, Wu Jun had already returned to S City and had handed her the contract for the Pili Tree trade.

Huo Sining felt confident. What she held in her hands was not only the supply of balsam but also another bargaining chip, so she wasn’t nervous about meeting the head of XiangNai Company.

As the person in charge had mentioned, Wittmore and Auvergne, along with two other people, disembarked from the plane. Huo Sining and Wu Jun went up to greet them.

”Mr. Wittmore, it is so wonderful that you could come personally! Hello, I am Huo Sining, the one who presumptuously sent you the email. Nice to meet you!”

After greeting Wittmore and the others, Huo Sining briefly introduced herself.

”Miss Huo, oh my God, what a surprise, I thought you would be a mature and sexy lady, but I didn’t expect you to be so young. This is unbelievable.”

In the first moment Wittmore saw Huo Sining, he thought she was just a female attendant sent to pick him up, without connecting her to the ”Miss Huo” from the email. Upon hearing her self-introduction, Wittmore was wide-eyed with shock as he realized her identity.

Auvergne and the Huaxia Country agent Bruce Lee exchanged glances, both seeing deep confusion and astonishment in each other’s eyes.

This was too exaggerated. Although they had their doubts about the email, they still decided to come to S City with a try-it-and-see attitude. Before coming, Auvergne and the others privately speculated about what kind of person this ”Miss Huo” could be.

Auvergne secretly guessed it might be a middle-aged woman in her forties or fifties, who must have mysterious connections to control such a large supply in the Philippines. Otherwise, there was no way she could get such a large batch of goods.

Having built up such an image in his mind for so long, the sight of such a young Oriental girl shattered all his assumptions, leaving him dazed.

Generally, Europeans look older than Asians of the same age, so Asians always appear younger.

Asians have smaller frames and softer features, which makes them look gentle and delicate, unlike the more defined features of Europeans.

Moreover, Huo Sining already had a baby face, and after the baptism of Spirit of Azure Pearl, her features had become more refined. As such, an Asian like Huo Sining looked even more youthful and tender, making her appear like an underage high-school student to Auvergne.

It was unimaginable that this seemingly delicate young Oriental girl was their goal for this trip, which surprised everyone greatly.

Huo Sining anticipated they might have this kind of reaction. In the business of stone gambling and treasure appraisal, people often made a fuss about her age; she was long accustomed to it. So when she saw their reactions, she remained completely unaffected, still smiling calmly, and even blinked mischievously while joking:

”There’s an old saying in China, ’Wisdom doesn’t come with age.’ I may be young, but I’m certainly not stupid. Mr. Wittmore, don’t take me lightly, or you’ll risk being sold by me and not even realize it!”

Huo Sining said this in Chinese, which Wittmore couldn’t fully understand. Bruce Lee hurriedly translated for him.

After grasping the meaning of Huo Sining’s words, Wittmore was somewhat surprised. A gleam flashed in his eyes, and then he laughed:

”For Miss Huo to send an email to XiangNai Company already proves Miss Huo’s courage and ability. Age and wisdom indeed do not equate. I look forward to this cooperation with you!”

After some brief pleasantries, Huo Sining then led Wittmore to the hotel.

The hotel was the Hilton Hotel, the closest one to the airport. Huo Sining had a rather deep impression of this hotel because, back when Zhu Xingwang stole Gan Lijun and Qin Shaoyou’s research results to secretly sell them to Watanabe Yasu, she had come here once with Qin Shaoyou and Su Qingqing.

That time was a close call. If Huo Sining hadn’t used her Invisibility Skill to sneak into Zhu Xingwang’s designated room, secretly eavesdropped on his deal with Watanabe Yasu, and quickly informed Qin Shaoyou to retrieve the materials from the supermarket, this conspiracy might have succeeded in Zhu Xingwang’s favor.

This matter had long been pushed to the back of Huo Sining’s mind, almost forgotten. But as she stepped into the Hilton Hotel once again, the memories resurfaced, and while feeling relieved, she couldn’t help but look around cautiously.

Although she knew that such things were unlikely to happen a second time, she couldn’t help feeling a little nervous. Upon entering the hotel lobby, she instinctively scanned her surroundings, afraid something might go wrong.

During her scan, as the elevator doors opened, she saw a man in a black casual outfit and a tennis cap walking out of the elevator. He coincidentally brushed past her.

The man had his head down and didn’t make eye contact with Huo Sining. It was still summer, and despite trying to cover himself up, the man’s neck was exposed. With a slight turn of her head, Huo Sining spotted a familiar red mark behind his ear.

Seeing this mark, Huo Sining’s body froze, her gaze fixed on the man, trying to discern something from his figure.

There were many people going in and out of the elevator. The man quickly merged into the crowd and disappeared before Huo Sining could fully react.

Huo Sining was momentarily dazed, a thought flashed through her mind, but it was so fleeting that she couldn’t grasp it clearly when she tried to.

Seeing Huo Sining’s somewhat dazed expression, Wu Jun beside her couldn’t help asking, ”Miss Huo, what’s wrong?”

Only then did Huo Sining snap back to reality, realizing it was not the time to be daydreaming. She quickly smiled and said, ”Let’s go.”

With that, she led the way into the elevator, guiding Wittmore and the others to the hotel room previously booked by Bai Yishan.
