Reborn As Super Heiress

Chapter 855: Chapter 851 What Conditions

As soon as Huo Sining spoke, Wittmore was completely stunned. He subconsciously exchanged glances with Auvergne, not understanding what Huo Sining meant.

”Ambergris from the Philippines is world-famous, but that doesn’t mean it’s only found in the Philippines, right?” Huo Sining asked nonchalantly.

Auvergne frowned, ”That’s universally acknowledged. The Manila tree hasn’t been planted elsewhere without issues. Even if grown, the yield is very low and the quality can’t compare with the Philippines’ ambergris.”

Huo Sining shook her head with a smile, ”In this vast world, anything is possible. No one can guarantee that what they believe is absolutely right. Who says ambergris is exclusive to the Philippines? That’s simply ridiculous. The world is so big, has the person drawing this conclusion been to every place on Earth?”

Doubt flashed in Wittmore’s eyes; he didn’t understand why Huo Sining brought this up.

Huo Sining didn’t hide it any longer. She laid the ownership certificate in front of Wittmore and Auvergne again:

”I’ve shown you this document before, Mr. Witt. It’s proof issued by the Xishuangbanna Forestry Bureau in Huaxia Country. Recently, I purchased the permanent ownership of a batch of Pili Trees in the Xishuangbanna primeval forest. Currently, I have over 20,000 Pili Trees, and it’s estimated that these trees can produce about 15 tons of Pili oil annually.”

At this point, Huo Sining took out several photos she had taken with her phone in Xishuangbanna from her backpack and smiled lightly, ”These are photos of the Pili Trees. Mr. Auvergne, you should recognize what they are better than I do.”

Auvergne hesitantly took the photos from Huo Sining and upon seeing what trees were in the photo, his entire body stiffened. He looked up abruptly, his face full of shock and disbelief, eyes brimming with turbulent emotions as he gazed at Huo Sining.

Seeing Auvergne’s reaction, Huo Sining shrugged and explained, ”Yes, these are the Manila trees burned down in the Jinshan fire. So, I said, who is spreading nonsense that Manila only exists in the Philippines? It’s laughable. Look, these are our Huaxia Country’s Pili Trees, the same Manila you speak of. These trees are abundant and uncountable in our primeval forests!”

Wittmore was also stunned by Huo Sining’s words and took quite a while to recover.

”So, the ten tons of ambergris raw materials you provided this time, Miss Huo, didn’t come from the Philippines but from Xishuangbanna in Huaxia Country?”

Huo Sining nodded with a smile, ”Yes, those goods were all brought from Xishuangbanna. The journey from the Philippines to Huaxia Country is long, then to transfer to France. After such long transport, this ambergris would probably be just a pile of trash.”

”I’ve never been to the Philippines, but coincidentally, the Jinshan fire incident let me know that our country also has these Manila trees, and quite a lot of them.”

”There’s money to be made, so why not? Business that comes knocking shouldn’t be turned away, right?”

Hearing Huo Sining’s words, Wittmore had to admit that this Eastern woman’s luck was extraordinary, good enough to make him envious.

The Philippines’ ambergris supply encountered a crisis, and now this woman held ownership of 20,000 Manila trees, producing over ten tons of ambergris yearly—she practically held 20,000 money-making trees. As long as she wanted, there would be no shortage of buyers for her ambergris.

Wittmore looked complexly at those few photos of the Pili Trees and recalled those seemingly nonsensical words from Huo Sining. It was only then he realized that this Eastern woman wasn’t as naïve as she might appear; on the contrary, she was decisive, had sharp foresight, and long-term thinking, not any less capable than some of the business elites he knew.

”Miss Huo, can you really guarantee that the annual ten tons will be of the same quality as the samples?”

Wittmore’s voice was hoarse, not knowing why. Usually adept and in control in business, this time he found himself outmatched by a less than twenty-year-old Eastern woman, and it didn’t feel good. Yet he couldn’t resist the allure of the terms proposed by Huo Sining.

Huo Sining smiled, ”You’ve seen the documents. If you’re asking for proof, this ownership certificate is my best guarantee.”

”Xiagnai is a big company with a vast market, selling countless perfumes worldwide each year. The demand for raw materials is enormous. If it’s regular ambergris from the Philippines market, ten tons might not meet your annual needs.”

”But Mr. Auvergne should know best that the quality of my samples, even one ton, is equal to one and a half, even two tons of the Philippine market’s raw materials. Even if I only provide your company with seven to eight tons, it should be enough for Xiagnai’s daily operations.”

”Since I’ve promised, the ten-ton quantity won’t change, you can rest assured, Mr. Witt.”

Hearing this, Wittmore hesitated before reluctantly nodding and asking, ”What are your conditions?”

Businessmen seek profits. Wittmore understood that he and this Eastern woman had no prior relationship; even with a newly signed contract, their relationship was purely based on interest.

Now, this woman presented an even greater deal than the raw material ambergris. It was naturally impossible for her to provide such a significant load for no reason.

Opportunities like this, not to mention Xiagnai, if Di’ao, Samra, Versace, and other companies knew about this, they would fight for such a substantial source.

So Wittmore knew that this Eastern woman just laid out half of her proposition. She was willing to supply the resources, but there must be other conditions.

Wittmore didn’t want to compromise so quickly but understood he had no choice. He had to hear the Eastern woman’s conditions first.

Of course, Huo Sining wasn’t a saint. Now holding so many Pili Trees, she was at the top of the food chain, in a dominant position. Even if Xiagnai didn’t want to cooperate, she could find other partners.
