Reborn As Super Heiress

Chapter 856: Chapter 852: The Biggest Bargaining Chip

However, since she could cooperate with Wittmore, she didn’t want to complicate things. If Wittmore could accept her demands, she wouldn’t mind giving him some additional benefits.

”From what I know, the relationship between Xiagnai and Samra has never been very harmonious, right?”

Huo Sining looked at Wittmore, smiling faintly.

Wittmore’s heart skipped a beat. He subconsciously lifted his head to stare at Huo Sining, unsure of her intention.

Huo Sining shrugged with a smile: ”Mr. Wittmore, I’m a straightforward person and dislike doing loss-making business. But I have to say, in this cooperation today, luck plays a much larger part for you than your company’s capability. Coincidentally, my impression of Samra isn’t great, so I think we might have common ground.”

Wittmore now understood Huo Sining’s implication: ”Miss Huo means you want me to join you in dealing with Samra?”

Huo Sining didn’t answer directly but said cryptically: ”There’s a saying that ”the enemy of my enemy is my friend.” Do you see it that way too, Mr. Wittmore?”

Given that Wittmore was a businessman, he certainly didn’t mind teaming up with Huo Sining to oppose a rival. Earlier, he had some reservations, thinking Huo Sining’s choice of Xiagnai was random. But now, hearing her words, he suddenly had an epiphany. The trace of uncertainty and tension in his eyes vanished instantly, leaving only shrewdness and calculation.

”They say Eastern women are independent and strong. I thought it was just a compliment. But on my first trip to Huaxia Country, I’ve truly witnessed the resilience and wisdom of Eastern women! I’m really impressed!”

Listening to Wittmore’s praise, Huo Sining understood his stance. Although he hadn’t directly acknowledged her view, it was evident he was very interested in the cooperation proposal.

Huo Sining did not beat around the bush and directly pulled out a document from the bottom: ”Samra recently reached a cooperation agreement with Shengtang Group in Huaxia. This agreement might have a significant impact on the domestic market. However, as far as I know, because of the major fire at Jinshan, the supply of balsam raw materials is currently chaotic. Samra is struggling and probably cannot implement this cooperation agreement in the short term.”

Wittmore’s sharp senses couldn’t overlook this cooperation agreement, which had been reported back to France half a month ago.

However, Wittmore didn’t understand why Huo Sining brought up this agreement.

”Without the raw materials, Samra can only struggle in vain. Shengtang Group isn’t foolish and wouldn’t let this cooperation project be delayed for over half a year. So I estimate that it won’t be long before Shengtang announces the termination of this cooperation.”

”At that time, it’s the perfect opportunity for Xiagnai to step in.”

”I think Mr. Wittmore, being a smart person, can see the immense profits in this cooperation. Currently, the domestic demand for luxury goods in Huaxia is growing, showing a huge and promising market. If Samra gains this market access before Xiagnai, it would be a significant blow to your company.”

Wittmore obviously understood the subtext of Huo Sining’s words. Shengtang Group is powerful, and if Samra successfully collaborates with Shengtang, the later entrants would only watch Samra feasting, not even getting the scraps.

However, Wittmore still had some doubts, so he spoke candidly: ”Miss Huo, I understand what you’re saying, but I’m still puzzled. What exactly did Samra do to offend Miss Huo? Of course, this is your private matter, and you don’t have to answer if it’s inconvenient.”

Huo Sining smiled, shook her head, and said: ”It’s no inconvenience. Samra didn’t offend me, but I don’t get along with the person in charge of this project. Since this project is a sure profit, why should I let significant profits go to someone I dislike?”

”Uh...”

Wittmore never expected such a bizarre explanation from Huo Sining, leaving him in a mix of laughter and exasperation.

He had thought Samra must have offended Huo Sining significantly for her to go to such lengths. But it turns out it’s merely because she dislikes a staff member of Samra.

Wittmore found it amusing, but Huo Sining’s wealthy, willful behavior left him speechless.

Regardless of the reason, Xiagnai got a significant advantage in this deal with Huo Sining. He admired her boldness and appreciated her straightforward and honest approach. Therefore, he had no reason to refuse the cooperation terms proposed by Huo Sining.

Huo Sining smiled and said: ”The conditions I propose will definitely not let Mr. Wittmore suffer. Mr. Auvergne, what do you think of this sample of balsam?”

Auvergne had been eyeing the balsam sample in Huo Sining’s hand for a long time. He wasn’t encountering balsam for the first time and was very familiar with its properties.

But what baffled—and even shocked—him was that from the time Huo Sining picked them up from the airport until they arrived at the Hilton Hotel, which took at least two hours, she had been carrying the balsam sample with her.

Yet, after two hours, the balsam sample still retained its bright yellow transparent color, and shaking it showed a gel-like consistency, with no loss of potency or signs of solidification.

This discovery left Auvergne incredulous. It was simply mind-blowing. He instinctively lifted his head, staring straight at Huo Sining, seemingly wanting to ask this Eastern woman how she managed to achieve this.

Huo Sining smiled and said: ”You might not know, but Huaxia Country is vast and densely populated. Although Xishuangbanna is Huaxia Country’s land, it neighbors Myanmar. From S City to Xishuangbanna, even taking the fastest transportation route, it takes over six hours. Considering the time for harvesting, packaging, and loading, it takes at least seven hours. By the time the balsam is transported to S City, it has become a useless waste material.”

These words made both Wittmore and Auvergne’s faces change instantly.
