Reborn As Super Heiress

Chapter 858: Chapter 854: Capital Recovery

The ten tons of balsam and two to three hundred kilograms of ambergris piled in the basement were undeniably shocking.

Even Wittmore, who prided himself on remaining unfazed even if Mount Tai collapsed before him, felt his heart suddenly race at the sight of such high-quality raw materials, and it seemed as if his heart might leap out of his chest.

Not to mention Auvergne, who had long since lost his composure. When he saw the goods, he couldn’t stop trembling all over, his lips quivering as he muttered, ”Oh my God...” and then fell silent, his eyes fixed squarely on the goods, unable to find any words to describe his current emotions.

”All the goods are here. If you don’t feel assured, feel free to inspect them.” Huo Sining said with a smile.

Auvergne snapped back to reality, realizing his loss of composure. He quickly adjusted his emotions, put on his glasses, and took out his toolbox, starting to sample the goods.

Being a seasoned employee in the procurement department, he was naturally familiar with the inspection process. Soon, he extracted several samples from the goods for testing. A moment later, he confirmed there were no issues and gave a definitive nod to Wittmore.

Receiving Auvergne’s confirmation, Wittmore’s previously tensed heart finally relaxed, and he couldn’t help but show a relieved smile.

The transaction of balsam and ambergris progressed smoothly, but for the final step, Huo Sining had to handle it personally.

Believing that Huo Sining possessed the technology to preserve balsam, and wanting to make the most of this advantage, Wittmore unceremoniously requested Huo Sining to oversee the preservation and transport of the goods.

Of course, Wittmore knew his request was a bit unreasonable, so he didn’t ask her to deliver the goods to France. Instead, he requested her help to ship them to Xiagnai’s raw material processing plant in the Huaxia District.

As long as the balsam made it into the processing plant for initial processing, its medicinal properties would solidify, preventing it from evaporating. However, each fragrance company had different processing methods, so it had to be done by their own factory, not by another processing plant.

Huo Sining couldn’t refuse this request, but she couldn’t let others know about the storage ring, nor could she entrust it to Wu Jun, so she had to handle it herself.

Xiagnai’s processing plant in the Huaxia District was in Jin City, not far from the Imperial Capital. Huo Sining negotiated the weekend delivery with Wittmore.

Wittmore knew that Huo Sining held the preservation technology for balsam and, since they had already signed the contract, he wasn’t worried about her defaulting. He didn’t mind if the goods reached him a few days later, so he readily agreed to Huo Sining’s request.

Early on Saturday morning, Huo Sining took the first flight to Jin City and arrived at her destination. After getting off the plane, she followed a pre-checked route, took a taxi to a secluded road near the processing plant, and then, when no one was around, unloaded all ten tons of balsam from her storage ring.

”Mr. Auvergne, I’ve delivered the goods to Deya Road. Please arrange for someone to pick them up.”

Auvergne, who was waiting for Huo Sining’s news, immediately contacted the processing plant upon receiving her call. Soon, someone from the plant drove over to Huo Sining’s designated location. The employee responsible for the handover was both surprised and taken aback to see a young woman standing by the roadside, ”Are you Miss Huo?”

Huo Sining nodded and smiled at the employee, ”The goods are all here. Please check them to see if there are any issues. If not, quickly transport them into the plant.”

The employee was full of confusion, ”How did you transport so many goods by yourself? Why isn’t there a truck or driver in sight?”

”Obviously, it wasn’t me alone!” Huo Sining gave the employee a look as if he was foolish, ”I came with the truck. The delivery man unloaded the goods and left. These goods are quite valuable, so I had to personally oversee the handover.”

The employee nodded, but his eyes were still filled with suspicion. Huo Sining’s explanation sounded reasonable, but he still felt something was off. However, he couldn’t figure out what it was.

Huo Sining wouldn’t let him figure it out. Taking advantage of his confusion, she quickly changed the subject, ”Because this involves the preservation technology for balsam, we couldn’t bring the truck directly to your plant. Now that the goods are unloaded, their medicinal properties will soon evaporate, so this isn’t the time for chatting. Quickly arrange for your employees to transport these goods into the plant.”

The employee, hearing Huo Sining’s words, was instantly jolted awake, realizing that the most important thing was handling the goods, not idle thoughts.

Loading the balsam box by box onto the truck, the transporting employees, with a responsible attitude, almost inspected every box.

Because the balsam market was chaotic, it was common for a batch of goods to have a few boxes of inferior balsam mixed in. This was considered normal by the employees. However, if the defective products exceeded the acceptable range, they would report the data truthfully to the head office without hesitation.

But what surprised the employees was that this time, they found no inferior products in their inspection, and the quality of the balsam was significantly better than any previous batch.

One employee, while handling the goods, accidentally twisted his ankle, causing one of the balsam boxes to nearly spill. The yellowish oil and rich, pure fragrance instantly spread, causing everyone to hold their breath, filled with the scent of fresh fruit.

After successfully completing the handover, the processing plant employee signed the shipping slip. Within three minutes, Huo Sining received a text message on her phone, notifying her of a large deposit into her bank account.

Counting the seven zeros, Huo Sining was instantly overjoyed.

Most of the capital spent on the Pili Tree had been recovered. By this time next year, Perfume Beauty would have fully recouped its costs and generated a considerable net profit. This realization made Huo Sining aware that she had made a very advantageous investment.

Having made a profit, Huo Sining was not stingy and immediately called Wu Jun with delight, ”Contact Yan En. We’re establishing a branch of Perfume Beauty in Daluo Town, and he will be the general manager. I’ll transfer the funds for the construction to him directly. Make sure he finds someone to start the work quickly and ensures the company’s building is grand!”
