Reborn As Super Heiress

Chapter 857: Chapter 853: Balsam Preservation Technology?

Wittmore and Auvergne did not understand Huaxia, nor did they know exactly where Xishuangbanna was located. Since they had previously seen the balsam samples Huo Sining had brought out, they naturally assumed that the balsam Huo Sining had obtained and the twenty thousand Pili Trees she had were not far from S City.

But now, hearing Huo Sining’s words, Wittmore and Auvergne realized how wrong they had been.

The two Frenchmen looked at each other, both revealing a look of shock.

”Miss Huo, you... you mean to say that you have already researched how to preserve the balsam?” Auvergne’s expression froze, staring intensely at Huo Sining, his voice trembling. He swallowed hard, clutching the balsam sample box.

Huo Sining smiled, neither confirming nor denying: ”I said earlier that I wouldn’t let you suffer a loss. Since we are in a symbiotic, win-win relationship, I wouldn’t deliberately hide this information. If your company needs it, I wouldn’t mind providing this service to you.”

Upon hearing Huo Sining’s words, Auvergne became extremely excited and immediately responded: ”We need it, we really need it!”

If they could indeed keep the balsam fresh before processing, it would be a major advantage for them, able to make them unbeatable in the market.

What Auvergne could think of, Wittmore could certainly think of as well. Originally, he had planned to argue with Huo Sining, to engage in a tug-of-war to maximize their benefits. But upon learning that Huo Sining possessed the balsam preservation technology, he instantly dismissed these thoughts.

This Eastern woman really understood psychological tactics. First, she slowly brought out the premium balsam and ambergris, leading him step by step into her trap, then suggested permanent supply, and finally revealed her biggest ace, the balsam preservation technology.

As an old-brand perfume company, Xiagnai desperately needed a breakthrough. Yet Wittmore had taken over Xiagnai for more than a year without any success or solutions.

Now Huo Sining had brought him new hope. Wittmore realized this was an opportunity to elevate Xiagnai, so his previous calculations became irrelevant. He didn’t plan to haggle with Huo Sining anymore, and if Huo Sining proposed several harsh conditions, he would agree without hesitation.

While Huo Sining and Wittmore had a pleasant conversation, the atmosphere at Samra Company suddenly dropped, and the entire company was immersed in a severe, tense atmosphere.

”Elisa, I know this project is very important to you, but I regret to inform you that the company is currently overwhelmed and probably cannot handle this project. I think Shengtang won’t stick with us for long and will soon propose to terminate the contract.”

Samra Company’s chairman, Camille, looked exhausted. But facing her highly appreciated right-hand assistant, she had to muster all her energy to convince Elisa to temporarily abandon the collaboration project with Huaxia Country.

Elisa’s face turned pale, her eyes flashing with resentment: ”Boss, my team and I have spent a full seven months on this collaboration project. If we abandon it now, wouldn’t all our efforts over the past seven months be wasted?”

Camille felt very helpless. Of course, she understood the importance of this project, but what could resentment achieve? Could resentment change the situation?

”Elisa, I know it’s hard for you to accept this, especially since you wanted to return to your country gloriously. But the current situation has changed. We can’t purchase enough balsam raw material, and even our company’s headquarters are filled with panic. How can you expect me to spare the effort for the Huaxia Country side?”

Elisa clenched her fists so hard that her long nails almost pierced her palm. She raised her head, staring firmly at Camille: ”Boss, what if Shengtang does not propose to cancel the cooperation?”

Camille looked up in surprise, glancing at Elisa, and smiled bitterly: ”Don’t joke, Elisa. No one wants to make a losing deal. Our cooperation with Shengtang is for profit, and if we can’t provide them enough products within the stipulated time per the contract, Shengtang’s loss is not just time, but possibly market share. Shengtang won’t stick around forever.”

”No, you think it’s impossible, but that doesn’t mean I can’t do it!” Elisa appeared to be betting everything, raising her head and staring at Camille, ”I will persuade Shengtang’s CEO to agree to extend the cooperation project by three months. Three months should be enough for the company to catch a breath and prepare adequately for this project, right?”

Camille looked at Elisa with suspicion: ”Three months is indeed enough, but Elisa, are you sure you can convince Shengtang’s CEO? He isn’t easy to persuade.”

In other areas, Elisa might not be so confident, but in this aspect, she was very sure: ”Of course, Boss. I am an old acquaintance with Shengtang’s CEO. Considering our past relationship, I think he won’t refuse this request.”

Seeing Elisa’s confidence, Camille, although somewhat skeptical, did not directly reject her and nodded in agreement: ”Okay, Elisa. I’ll give you another chance. If you can persuade Shengtang to extend by three months, I’ll fully support this project.”

With Camille’s affirmative response, Elisa felt reassured. She immediately booked a ticket to return to Imperial Capital, delightfully ready to reconnect with Gu Xu.

Huo Sining signed two contracts with Wittmore: one for the Jade Beauty and Xiagnai symbiotic marketing, and the other for providing Xiagnai with ten tons of perfume annually. Once these two contracts were signed, Huo Sining took Wittmore and Auvergne to inspect the goods that afternoon.

Unlike the previous inspection at Xianyu Shop, this time there were ten tons of balsam. Huo Sining could not possibly load the goods onto the truck behind Xianyu Shop. Not to mention whether the truck could even fit them all, with Wu Jun around, she couldn’t explain how she had managed to silently load so much cargo onto the truck under his nose.

Therefore, Huo Sining led Wittmore and Auvergne directly to her villa, unloading the ten tons of balsam from the storage ring into the basement.
