Reborn As Super Heiress

Chapter 795: Chapter 791: A Win-Win Solution

No matter what Huo Sining said, Zhong Zifan and Liao Song just refused to accept it.

The old men standing by, including Yang Wen, felt a headache coming on, their lips twitching as they wished they could accept the gift on behalf of Zhong Zifan and Liao Song.

God dammit, this was a pigeon’s blood ruby worth tens of millions, even hundreds of millions, not some cheap, common junk. How come one insists on giving it away while the other two are dead set against accepting it, all three looking like they carried deep-seated grudges—was this just to get on people’s nerves?

The onlookers outside the store were also in an uproar, and someone immediately took a photo of Huo Sining holding the pigeon’s blood ruby and uploaded it to the internet, commenting on several posts.

”A shocking twist! The mysterious Miss Huo makes a comeback, extracting top-grade gemstones from fake raw materials once again!”

”Proof in pictures, Miss Huo’s magical touch, a ruby was extracted from a core-drilled brick material, said to be an unheated natural Pigeon Blood Red from Myanmar, estimated weight between two to three hundred grams!”

”It’s horrifyingly shocking, Miss Huo simply defies common sense, a Pigeon Blood Red ruby the size of a goose egg, she just gives it away without blinking an eye! Damn it, why not give it to me? Then I’d strike it rich!”

If only one person had said it, definitely nobody would believe it. But with seven or eight people following up with different photo angles, it made it hard not to be convinced.

Several forums went crazy. In the forums, there were no lack of pigeon’s blood ruby enthusiasts and ruby experts, who immediately set about providing a professional analysis and appraisal of the ruby. Upon seeing these expert analyses in the posts, people were stimulated and the number of those following up and sharing the posts grew at a visibly frantic pace, and soon posts about the mysterious Miss Huo were pinned and highlighted in several forums.

Huo Sining didn’t know that she had become famous again, just by appraising two stones in a small gambling stone store in Fuzhou. At the moment, she was a bit conflicted. Since Zhong Zifan and Liao Song refused to accept the Pigeon Blood Red ruby, she didn’t know what to do.

Yang Wen glanced over the faces of the trio for a while, then suddenly smiled, ”Miss Huo, Xiao Zhong, Xiao Liao, you’re all standing firm on your principles, and that’s not wrong. But this Pigeon’s Blood Ruby is not trash; there’s no need to push it back and forth as if it’s something distasteful, right?”

Hearing Yang Wen’s words, Huo Sining, Zhong Zifan, and Liao Song were all momentarily stunned, then suddenly they all laughed.

”I think this will work, since you don’t know how to handle it, let me give you a suggestion!”

Yang Wen looked at the three of them with a beaming smile, ”This material is indeed precious. Miss Huo, you might not mind, but giving it away so casually, the gift is too substantial. Put yourself in Xiao Zhong and Xiao Liao’s shoes—I suppose I too would truly hesitate to accept such a gift.”

”So, each of you take a step back. Consider this Pigeon’s Blood Red as a loan from Miss Huo to Xiao Zhong and Xiao Liao. Place it here in Dianshifang as an exhibit for a few months, until Xiao Zhong and Xiao Liao find another treasure for the shop and then return it to you. How about that?”

Huo Sining was taken aback and after a brief moment of thought, a smile appeared at the corner of her mouth, ”President Yang, you always have a way.”

Huo Sining was so insistent on giving the Pigeon Blood Red to Zhong Zifan and Liao Song because she actually wanted to leverage the gemstone’s fame for the benefit of Dianshifang.

It had not been easy for Zhong Zifan to start his shop, and now with Zhong Yuejin aggressively closing in on him, without some special measures, it was feared that it wouldn’t be long before their store would have to shut down for good.

Thus, Huo Sining had wanted to find an alternative path, using the fame of the Pigeon Blood Red to promote Dianshifang’s brand.

This was also why she was insistent on parting with the Pigeon Blood Red, even though she was wealthy, she didn’t consider money as worthless as dirt. Letting go of such a beautiful and valuable gemstone wasn’t something she could do without at least some reluctance.

When Yang Wen suddenly proposed this solution, it indeed seemed the most reasonable, making Zhong Zifan and Liao Song feel less awkward and allowing Huo Sining to keep the Pigeon Blood Red without loss, while also maximizing the gem’s fame and its value.

This perfect solution was promptly accepted by the three of them.

”Since that’s the case, I won’t be stingy. One piece is exhibited, two pieces is still an exhibition, and I don’t suffer any loss. I’ll also leave this Gold-threaded Jadeite here with you,” Huo Sining suggested with a smile. ”After all, I haven’t planned to craft this Gold-threaded Jadeite into a finished product yet, so there’s no harm in leaving it here with you for some time.”

This, of course, was very pleasing to Zhong Zifan and Liao Song. Their shop had just opened and usually, there wasn’t much business. Yet, if they had the Gold-threaded Jadeite and Pigeon Blood Red as free advertisements, it would surely attract a large number of jadeite and gemstone enthusiasts to come and feast their eyes—a fantastic opportunity to draw in business for their shop.

Zhong Zifan and Liao Song exchanged glances, each seeing excitement in the other’s eyes.

Although their store had not been open long, they understood the ins and outs quite well and were very aware that, following today’s event, just as Huo Sining had predicted, their Dianshifang was about to become famous! With proper management, they wouldn’t have to worry about business anymore.

Since Yang Wen had made the suggestion, he, of course, hadn’t forgotten about the safety of these two treasures. He laughed and said, ”I also count as part of the Pacific Ocean police, meddling a bit too much, perhaps. But since I’ve got involved, I can’t just help halfway. If you’re going to exhibit this gemstone, safety is the top priority, and it just so happens I know someone from the security company. They should have a specialized security system and insurance services, and I’ll introduce you. Contact him and say I sent you, he will definitely ensure the safety of these two stones.”

Only then did Zhong Zifan remember they had been too excited to consider security issues. Hearing what Yang Wen said, he instantly felt both joy and gratitude, ”Then we’re really grateful to you!”

Yang Wen waved his hand, ”Don’t thank me, I’m not doing this for you, but for Huo’s girl. Huo girl, I have my own requests, don’t forget what I asked earlier. If you decide to process this Gold-threaded Jadeite, don’t forget to set aside a finished set for me!”

At this moment, the old man still had not forgotten about this, causing Huo Sining to feel both amused and exasperated; she nodded and laughed, ”Don’t worry, I never go back on my word!”

Yang Wen finally felt relieved and walked out with the other old men. They didn’t try to get close to Huo Sining like Yang Wen did, but they were very reluctant to part with the Pigeon Blood Red in her hands, looking back three steps at a time, and eventually leaving reluctantly.

The crowd of onlookers didn’t disperse so quickly, leaving the explanation work which Huo Sining didn’t handle, knowing that Zhong Zifan would certainly be able to manage.
