Reborn As Super Heiress

Chapter 787: Chapter 783: Gold-threaded Jadeite

After refusing Yang Wen, Huo Sining brought over the polishing machine and carefully polished the white cotton on the surface of the jadeite.

The process of removing this layer of white cotton was not complicated, but it did require controlled force because only a thin layer of the stone’s skin could be polished away. Therefore, the pressure had to be even, or one could easily damage the jadeite within the stone’s skin.

After polishing for about half an hour, she had completely unveiled the raw stone material; aside from the approximately two and a half centimeters thick surface skin that was cut off, the inside was purely clean jade flesh, crystal clear and shimmering with gold.

Zhong Zifan was already prepared by her side, and as soon as Huo Sining put down the polishing machine, he quickly splashed it with clean water.

Knowing that the sand hole revealed green, everyone’s eyes were glued to the stone, and now that the jadeite was completely wiped clean, everyone was shocked with eyes wide open.

”Whoa—”

What kind of material was this?

Not to mention Zhong Zifan and Liao Song, even Yang Wen, who had been dealing with jadeite for decades, had never seen such jadeite.

The type of this material was just a bit better than the Ice-type, not yet reaching the High Ice Type. Its color and translucency were also considered good. But the shock wasn’t simply because it was High Ice Type; even after seeing glassy, bright green jadeite, Yan Wen and the others would not have been so astonished.

It was truly because the color of this material was too unique. Within this tetrahedral piece of jadeite, amidst the brilliant green, were interspersed specks of light.

The gold bright spots, unabashedly aggressive in their brilliance, hidden among the verdant green, were like the rising sun, dazzling and so bright one could hardly look directly at it.

Yes, the specks within this piece of Ice Seed Jadeite weren’t impurities, but actual gold, pure gold, the brilliant 24K pure gold!

The surface of the Shui Fan Sha was all gravel, and now that it revealed gold, it truly exemplified the saying, ”When the sand blows away, gold is unveiled.” However, this gold was mixed within the jadeite.

Huo Sining had previously revealed Yellow Jadeite and cut three-colored jadeite. The finest Yellow Jadeite like Chicken Oil Yellow, and the three-colored jadeite like Fortune, Prosperity, and Longevity. The color of the Yellow Jadeite, if slightly heavier, would present a red or brownish-red, while the three colors in Fortune, Prosperity, and Longevity were mixed in a ribbon pattern. She had never seen jadeite like the one before her, with gold points amidst compelling green.

In the jadeite market, it was common for some merchants to sprinkle gold to enhance the value of their products on jadeite jewelry. However, the Gold-threaded Jadeite produced this way could only attach a layer of gold on the surface of the jadeite and was not able to penetrate into the jadeite. Therefore, the traces of processing could easily be seen.

But the gold in this piece of jadeite before her was perfectly integrated within the jadeite, visible to the naked eye as gold. Yet, it was just right and did not feel abrupt or unnatural.

Looking at this piece of jadeite, Huo Sining even felt an illusion of seeing the stars. When she used her Heavenly Eye to observe this piece of jadeite before, Huo Sining had not felt this. Now, with the jadeite before her, she experienced a profound shock to her soul.

”What kind of jadeite is this?!” Zhong Zifan and Liao Song were right beside Huo Sining and took a glance at the jadeite in her hands, immediately feeling its dazzling presence—no, it was indeed stunningly brilliant, captivating everyone’s attention.

The onlookers were all astounded. In an instant, everyone swarmed around, even the onlookers Wang Zhongwei and Zhong Yuejin couldn’t help but come closer, encircling Huo Sining in the middle.

Those at the front had already seen the true appearance of the jadeite and couldn’t help but inhale sharply in surprise.

Huo Sining had been standing at the entrance engaged in stone gambling, an activity that required physical strength, and she was already feeling some fatigue. Now, surrounded by the crowd, she felt even more uncomfortable. Holding the raw material, if it weren’t for Zhong Zifan’s supportive hand, she would have collapsed on the ground.

Huo Sining forced a smile and said, ”Everyone, please give me some space first. I’ll hand this jadeite over to Liao Song to keep. If you want to see this piece of jadeite, feel free to go to Liao Song. With all of you crowding around me, I’m barely able to breathe!”

In the weather of July and August, surrounded by so many people, the air was stifling. Huo Sining felt it difficult to breathe and had no choice but to draw upon the Spirit of Azure Pearl to alleviate her physical discomfort.

Hearing her words, everyone felt a bit embarrassed and hurriedly made space. Yang Wen had been eyeing the jadeite all along. Upon hearing what Huo Sining said, he didn’t care about the awkwardness and shamelessly asked with a sheepish smile, ”Miss Huo, could I take a look at that piece of raw material?”

”Of course, there’s no problem with that!” Huo Sining generously handed it over and then gave Liao Song a look, indicating for him to take charge of the affairs concerning this piece of jadeite.

”It is indeed Gold-threaded Jadeite, the stuff of legends! I can’t believe I, Yang Wen, would have the fortune to see this in my lifetime! What is even more rare is that the jadeite’s type and color are so good, the gold threads don’t overwhelm but rather compliment it, making the Gold-threaded Jadeite look even more brilliant.”

Yang Wen was stunned upon laying eyes on the jadeite. After a long while, he finally spoke with a sigh.

As he said this, his eyes sparkled with excitement, his hands cradling the not-so-large raw material—it was as if he was moments away from kissing it right there and then.

The people nearby, upon hearing Yang Wen’s words, immediately became more curious, ”President Yang, is this jadeite called Gold-threaded Jadeite? Hearing what you’ve said, it seems like you know the origins of this jadeite?”

Not many people on-site had heard of Gold-threaded Jadeite, including Huo Sining. Seeing that Yang Wen seemed to know its origins, they all pricked up their ears to listen.

Yang Wen smiled and nodded, ”Gold and jadeite mines are both formed through dramatic geological changes, and the natural conditions that create both substances are vastly different, but nature is a miraculous creator, and its marvels cannot always be understood through common sense.”

”Take this Gold-threaded Jadeite, for instance. For such jadeite to form, there needs to be a geological event where jadeite formation happens to coincide with a gold mine. Only with this collision can such a spectacle be created.”

”These natural conditions can only be described as pure chance; jadeite containing pure gold is an event so rare that it might only be found once in dozens or hundreds of years. Moreover, even with Gold-threaded Jadeite, one must consider all aspects to determine its true value. The jadeite’s type, the purity and brightness of its color, as well as the distribution of the gold threads, etc., all play crucial roles.”

”However, the value of Miss Huo’s piece of Gold-threaded Jadeite is beyond doubt. This jadeite is clear and transparent with no impurities, both its type and water’ are top-quality, and it contains pure gold, making it worth at least three to five times more without any exaggeration.”
