Reborn As Super Heiress

Chapter 589: Chapter 587: The Fierce Female Reporter

The female reporter was daring indeed, taking out her phone to secretly snap pictures during such a perilous moment, presumably planning to return to the radio station with an exclusive story once it was all over. She was extremely cautious, even deliberately using her purse to hide the phone.

But what she hadn’t anticipated was that at this very moment someone would call her, and the ringing of her phone instantly drew the attention of the fierce robber, who even demanded she hand over her cellphone.

Fear flashed in the reporter’s eyes, and she hesitated for a long time without handing over the phone.

The burly man flew into a rage at once and reached out to yank the woman from the crowd.

Given the robber’s strength, how could the female reporter compete? In this tussle, she was thrown several meters away, her clothes twisted to the side, unable to conceal the lively spring scenery beneath, as her ample bosom seemed ready to burst forth.

In such a situation, normal men wouldn’t miss the view, so not only were Biaozi and Four Eyes frequently glancing at the reporter, but even a few men among the crowd, in the throes of danger, couldn’t help but sneak peeks.

Only the burly man remained unflinching, his face still etched with ferocity.

”What are you doing?!”

With a piercing scream from the reporter, Huo Sining felt a chill in her heart and instinctively raised her head to look, only to see the burly man holding a gun in one hand and the reporter in his arms, his arm tightly wrapped around her slender waist.

The reporter was furious and flushed with anger, her eyes and cheeks tinted red as she struggled hard, but her strength was clearly futile, and she couldn’t break free.

The burly man sneered and reached out towards the reporter’s chest.

The reporter managed to pull away, seizing the opportunity to unhesitatingly swing a slap at the burly man.

With a crisp smack, the slap landed heavily on the face of the burly robber, instantly silencing the bank!

A few men who were sneaky but lacked the courage had been stealing glances but jumped in fright at the sight, hastily turning their heads and carefully shifting their feet, trying to keep their distance from this female reporter.

”Bitch! You dare hit me?!”

The burly man, slapped by the female reporter, immediately erupted in fury, his eyes seeming to shoot fire, and with one hand, he kicked the reporter to the ground.

As if that wasn’t enough to ease his anger, he kicked her several more times. After these few kicks from the burly man, the reporter curled up on the ground in agony, her expression twisted, as if she was about to vomit bile.

The reporter was a tough one; even so, she didn’t succumb or plead, but instead slowly stood up, spitefully spitting out and hitting the burly man’s body: ”What kind of skill is it to torment a woman? If you’ve got the guts, kill me!”

Anger filled the reporter’s eyes, showing total disregard for the gun in the robber’s hand.

The burly man paused, then flared up in greater fury: ”Whore, are you seeking death? Really think I don’t dare kill you?!”

Saying this, the veins on the burly man’s hand bulged as he prepared to pull the trigger.

”Boss! Knock it off!”

Just then, the bandit known as Biaozi spoke up. He cast a cold glance over here and said indifferently, ”Business before pleasure, once we have the money, will you still worry about not having women? If you lose your life, you’ll lose everything!”

The burly man with the gun took a cold look at the female reporter, reluctantly lowered the gun, and suddenly reached out to roughly grope the reporter’s butt, sneering, ”This one’s spicy, just to my taste!”

The reporter blushed with mortification, reaching out to push away the bandit’s hand, not expecting her handbag to get tangled with the man’s hand in the process.

With that push, the handbag flew out of her hands. The contents scattered on the ground, including her mobile phone used for covert recording and her work badge.

The color drained from the reporter’s face as she anxiously bent down to pick up the items on the ground, only to be beaten to it by the man known as Four Eyes, who scooped up the stuff from the floor.

A single glance was enough for Four Eyes’ expression to suddenly change, ”Boss, this woman... seems to be a reporter!”

The burly man’s expression faltered as he came over, receiving the items from Four Eyes.

Seeing the still active camera interface on that phone and the work badge, there was nothing left for the burly man to misunderstand.

He walked toward the female reporter, who shuddered in fear, bitterly cursing her luck.

”A TV station reporter?” scoffed the burly man, ”You’ve got guts, sneaking footage like this!”

No sooner had he spoken than he slapped the female reporter across the face, ”Do you know the two kinds of people I hate the most?”

Taken by surprise, the reporter was slapped to the ground, suddenly seeing stars, tasting the saltiness of blood on her lips, her cheek burning with pain.

She looked at the burly man coldly and remained silent.

”The people I hate the most are cops and reporters!” As the burly man said this, he turned the reporter’s purse inside out and dumped its contents onto the ground, causing everything to clatter out.

The burly man’s eyes narrowed as he leaned over to sift through the jumbled items, picking out a pen. Pressing a button on it, they soon heard voices coming from it—the same words they had spoken inside the bank.

It turned out, the female reporter hadn’t only taken photos; she had also recorded audio with a pen recorder!

Brandishing the recording pen, the burly man scoffed, ”Not only did you snap shots of me, but you also dared to record my voice. Were you planning to air it on TV, seeking a manhunt for me?”

Pale-faced, the reporter bit her lip, unfazed in the face of danger, ”So what if I did? Scum like you, utterly inhumane, deserve to be universally condemned! When you’re caught and brought to trial, this will serve as solid evidence! You won’t be able to talk your way out of it!”

”Solid evidence?” The burly man sneered coldly and threw the phone and pen recorder on the ground, crushing them underfoot. A few crisp snaps later, the phone and recorder were smashed to pieces under his boot.

”I always hate killing women, but today you might just be the exception! Four Eyes, take this slut to the door. We’ve got four minutes left. If those cops haven’t moved by then, she’s the first to go!”

The moment Four Eyes heard this, he was overjoyed. Earlier, the boss had been suspicious of him, but now he was entrusting him with this task; did this mean the boss saw him as one of his own now?

Without any doubt, he grabbed the reporter by the arm and shoved her outwards, ”You filthy whore, daring to mess with our boss. In a moment, I’ll strip you naked for the cops to see whether you’re a reporter or a whore!”
