Reborn As Super Heiress

Chapter 846: Chapter 842: One Hundred Million

The first deal of balsam was completed, and Huo Sining couldn’t be happier. Thinking about the superb twin-headed abalone she got from Mindong a while ago, which hadn’t been eaten yet, she eagerly wanted to keep Su Jinyuan for dinner.

However, Su Jinyuan declined her invitation, citing work matters at the company. After finding out the delivery time for Huo Sining’s next batch of goods, he made a call to Zhang Chao, gave him Huo Sining’s contact information, and then hurriedly left.

Huo Sining originally wanted to cook herself to show her hospitality, but seeing Su Jinyuan in such a hurry, she thought he must have something to deal with, so she didn’t insist on keeping him.

”Boss Jin!”

As soon as Su Jinyuan came out, he quickly caught up with Jin Kaili and her two companions.

Upon hearing the voice behind her, Jin Kaili suddenly turned around and saw that it was Su Jinyuan who had caught up with them. A hint of surprise flashed through her eyes:

”Mr. Su, what can I do for you?”

Su Jinyuan’s gaze darkened as he looked at Jin Kaili. His voice remained cool and his smile seemed to carry an invisible threat:

”Boss Jin, you are a smart person, so I will be blunt. That girl is not someone you can covet! And you can’t afford to provoke her!”

The girl Su Jinyuan referred to was none other than Huo Sining.

Jin Kaili suddenly looked up, her eyes wide with surprise and a trace of fear as she looked at Su Jinyuan.

Su Jinyuan’s lips twitched slightly, and an undercurrent of danger flowed in his eyes: ”Do not attempt to challenge the bottom line of the Su Family. This is my only advice to you.”

With that, he walked away briskly without waiting for Jin Kaili’s response.

Su Jinyuan was not exaggerating. Maintaining the balsam so perfectly and preserving over ninety percent of its medicinal properties relied not only on swift and convenient transportation but on technique.

After seeing the quality and texture of the batch, Jin Kaili was very certain that the girl named Huo Sining must have a new technique for perfectly preserving the balsam. This technique was something that even domestic and foreign experts specializing in balsam had not mastered.

It was this technique that fueled Jin Kaili’s desire to investigate Huo Sining. For a moment, she even thought of using some tricks to seize the technique for herself.

As a top figure in the fragrance industry, Jin Kaili was very aware of the importance of preserving balsam. She also understood the immense value and potential of the technique Huo Sining possessed.

However, Su Jinyuan’s warning was a wake-up call that made her quickly come to her senses.

How could a girl dare to venture into such a business alone? With such a technique coming to the fore, it was almost certain to attract covetous eyes. Yet, the girl appeared calm and composed, handling everything with ease. This indicated that she must have some backing, and her identity was definitely not just that of an ordinary shop owner.

Jin Kaili immediately realized that if she could see that Huo Sining held the new technique for preserving balsam, Su Jinyuan definitely could as well.

With the power of the Su Family, controlling a powerless girl would be easy. The fact that the Su Family wasn’t tempted by such a valuable technique spoke volumes.

This woman, Huo Sining, had a background that was no less powerful than the Su Family, perhaps even more so that they were unwilling to provoke her.

Jin Kaili couldn’t help but shiver. Su Jinyuan’s warning was clearly meant to enlighten her.

With the Su Family’s capabilities, protecting that girl would not be difficult. Conversely, if she targeted Huo Sining, it would be like hitting a stone with an egg.

With this thought, the last trace of greed in Jin Kaili’s eyes quickly vanished.

What could she do even if she was unwilling? Her strength was too weak and not a match for the Su Family. She could only give up the idea.

Jin Kaili’s rigid expression eased somewhat. Seeing Jin Rui and Chen Jianlin looking at her, she sighed slightly, glanced back at Xianyu Shop, and said, ”Let’s go.”

In the afternoon, Wu Jun brought news to Huo Sining.

”I have inquired with both the Forestry Bureau and the Tourism Bureau.”

”The Tourism Bureau stated that if it is the Pili Trees in the scenic area, they are the private property of the scenic area. But if it crosses the scenic area line to reach the original forest, it would be under the jurisdiction of the Forestry Bureau.”

”I went to check with Yan En, and over ninety percent of those Pili Trees are in the original forest. So, this matter should be under the jurisdiction of the Forestry Bureau.”

Hearing this, Huo Sining raised her eyebrows, knowing there was more to come from Wu Jun: ”So?”

”According to the Forestry Bureau’s procedures, in general, such situations involve contracting a mountain area to rent the trees, or directly contracting a plot and hiring people to plant. But your situation is special; no one has ever targeted the original forest before.”

”The Forestry Bureau held an emergency meeting at noon after learning about our situation.”

”They stated that the original forest is a national protected resource and cannot be contracted out to private individuals. However, they proposed two plans.”

Huo Sining was somewhat surprised: ”What plans?”

”The first is if we really want to contract, due to the large number of Pili Trees, the contracting fee might be quite expensive, possibly close to a million a year.”

”The second is, if we find the contract price too high, we can consider purchasing it permanently. I also heard that the Forestry Bureau is working on some new project, but the government has no funds to invest, so they have to raise money themselves.”

”So if we are willing to buy it permanently, they are not opposed, but the purchase price is quite high.”

Huo Sining had expected the matter would not be smooth, but hearing Wu Jun, at least it was not impossible to negotiate. She said, ”Tell me their price first.”

Wu Jun hesitated for a moment before saying, ”One billion, they are asking for one billion for a one-time buyout.”

Huo Sining had anticipated that the Forestry Bureau wouldn’t be easy to deal with, but hearing the huge figure of one billion, she couldn’t help but be stunned.

Because those in Xishuangbanna still didn’t know the exact value of the Pili Oil, those Pili Trees had always been insignificant in the Xishuangbanna original forest. No one specifically harvested Pili Oil, nor managed those trees, as such hardwoods were abundant in Xishuangbanna. The Forestry Bureau there had never paid attention to them.

But now that someone proposed to buy them, the Forestry Bureau was not at a loss, immediately asking for a sky-high price of one billion.
