Reborn As Super Heiress

Chapter 843: Chapter 839 Jin Kaili’s Misunderstanding

Jin Kaili acted quickly after receiving a call from her brother, Jin Rui. Although she did not doubt it was true, hearing Jin Rui’s anxious and serious tone prompted her to move swiftly.

First, she mobilized a large amount of funds and notified the members of the procurement department to contact the truck. Soon, she hurriedly went to the location mentioned by Jin Rui with Chen Jianlin and the deputy manager of the procurement department.

Upon arriving at Antique Street and entering Jin Rui’s ”Jade Beauty” shop, Jin Kaili couldn’t help but let out an ”ah” when she saw Su Jinyuan standing inside the store, realizing, ”So it’s the Su Family, no wonder...”

Su Jinyuan didn’t recognize Jin Kaili, but Jin Kaili knew Su Jinyuan.

Having mingled in S City for many years, Jin Kaili had naturally gotten to know various characters, and she had heard many things about the Su Family from them.

Jin Kaili had once attended a charity auction hosted by the Su Group’s Donghua, and at that auction, she met the head of the Su Group, Su Jinyuan.

At that time, she found it strange that a young man under thirty could develop a large company like Su Group’s Donghua so successfully in just a few years.

Jin Kaili was very curious about this. After inquiring, she learned that besides Su Jinyuan, who had a business mind, the rapid expansion of Su Group’s Donghua was strongly backed by the Su Family’s seemingly discreet but powerful support.

However, because the Su Family had always kept a low profile, the average person knew very little about them.

Of course, if you think the Su Family is easily bullied, you’re mistaken. After Su Zhenhua took up the position of secretary in S City, he appeared gentle and courteous but was actually ruthless and relentless.

Years ago, a wealthy family attached itself to powerful figures, thinking they were invincible in S City. They tried to suppress the Su Group’s industries but ended up bankrupt, and even the influential person in that family was imprisoned. Such thunderous methods shocked many officials and businessmen in S City, making no one dare to challenge them again. Every merchant coming to develop in S City would be warned that the Su Group was a no-touch zone for businessmen in S City.

Jin Kaili didn’t expect her brother would get involved with the Su Family. Despite feeling uneasy, her urgent need for Olive Fragrance Resin made her act decisively. She pushed open the door of Jade Beauty and walked in hurriedly.

”Sis, over here!”

Seeing Jin Kaili and her group arriving in a hurry, Jin Rui stood beside Huo Sining and the others, excitedly waving to Jin Kaili.

Jin Kaili went up to him, but before she could greet Su Jinyuan, Jin Rui handed her a box.

”What’s going on? How did you get involved with the Su Family...”

Jin Kaili wanted to ask Jin Rui what was happening. She took the box from him and smelled a strong fruit fragrance. She lowered her head to look at the box while asking, but upon seeing its contents, the words she wanted to say caught in her throat as she stared stiffly at the shiny Olive Fragrance Resin, her expression blank.

Seeing Jin Kaili’s shocked expression, Jin Rui knew she would react like this. He immediately showed a smug look:

”What do you think? Didn’t I say we should come and check it out? You didn’t believe me, insisting they were frauds. If I hadn’t insisted on coming, we would have missed out on such good stuff!”

Jin Rui’s words jolted Jin Kaili back to reality. She looked at Jin Rui in disbelief, ”You mean the online post...”

”Yes, I contacted them because of that post. They’re no frauds. Look at this product; even if we went to the Philippines ourselves, we wouldn’t get such fresh and pure oil!”

Jin Rui thought Jin Kaili was surprised because of the post, unaware of Jin Kaili’s internal confusion.

Jin Kaili couldn’t understand why, with the Su Family’s background and connections, they would resort to posting online for something like Olive Fragrance Resin, even if it were the most common quality. As long as they hinted at their need, people would rush to provide it. There was no need for such cumbersome online posts.

Furthermore, she clearly saw that the Resin in the box was of top quality. Such goods couldn’t be found in S City or even in the whole Huaxia Country. There was no need to go through the trouble of posting online.

Jin Kaili assumed that with the Su Family’s power, obtaining Olive Fragrance Resin wouldn’t be a problem. She was puzzled by Su Jinyuan’s strange method of selling it, unsure what he was up to.

However, due to her preconceived notions about the Su Family, Jin Kaili naturally thought the supplier was Su Jinyuan, which saved Huo Sining a lot of trouble.

Jin Kaili couldn’t understand Su Jinyuan’s unconventional behavior but decided to put it aside after pondering briefly.

After all, the bigger temptation came from the Resin in her hand.

Regardless of circumstances, in business, even if the other party asked for a sky-high price, she could negotiate. As long as she didn’t offend them too much, the Su Family wouldn’t bother with someone as insignificant as her.

”Didn’t you say there was a ton? Did you confirm if all the goods are of this quality? And what’s the price? If it’s too high, we can’t afford it.”

Before entering, Jin Kaili probed Jin Rui for details.

”Sis, you know I handle things well. I confirmed it. They guarantee the quality matches what we have here and agreed to let us inspect first. If we’re not satisfied, we don’t sign. And the price – you won’t believe it...”

When it came to the crucial point, Jin Rui mischievously paused.

The price concerned Jin Kaili most because her available funds were very limited. Quality wouldn’t matter if the price was too high; she couldn’t afford it and would have to watch it slip away.

So when Jin Rui stopped short, she became anxious and urgently asked, ”How much?”

Jin Rui stretched out five fingers. Jin Kaili was stunned and then raised her voice in disbelief, ”You must be mistaken! This is top-quality Olive Fragrance Resin; how can it be so cheap?”

Jin Rui shook his head, ”It’s the same price as that batch you were planning to buy from the Philippine supplier. I’ve confirmed multiple times. I don’t know why, but this is good news for us, isn’t it?”

Jin Rui reminded Jin Kaili that such a great opportunity was like a pie falling from the sky!

However, Jin Kaili still felt uneasy until she had the goods. She hurriedly said, ”Right, right, let’s check the goods first. If it’s really this good, we’ll pay immediately and take them.”
