Reborn As Super Heiress

Chapter 839: Chapter 835: A Scammer, Beat You Up Every Time I See You!

After hanging up the phone, Huo Sining hurriedly called Wu Jun: ”Wu Jun, there’s an urgent matter that might need your help. You need to set out for Xishuangbanna right now and find a person named Yan En, try to contract the mountain behind their village!”

Wu Jun was a bit confused by Huo Sining’s call, not knowing what she wanted to do. Why would she suddenly ask him to go to Xishuangbanna to contract a piece of primeval jungle? Was this a joke?

Afraid that Wu Jun might not understand her purpose, Huo Sining simply explained directly: ”If the local forestry bureau doesn’t agree, just buy it, buy the mountain or that batch of Pili Trees on the mountain!”

”Remember, my goal is those Pili Trees on the mountain. Tell Yan En that we want to contract those Pili Trees, and the future collection of the Pili oil will still be entrusted to them. The price will be calculated as I had previously discussed with him, he will definitely understand what I mean!”

Though feeling confused, Wu Jun knew that Huo Sining must have her reasons for saying so. He didn’t investigate further, packed a few changes of clothes, and immediately set off for Yun Province.

While Huo Sining was assigning tasks to Wu Jun, Su Jinyuan hung up the phone and quickly dialed his friend’s number with the intent of keeping business within the family:

”Didn’t you ask me to find a source for balsam? I’ve got a lead for you. If you want the raw materials for Olive Fragrance Resin, I can get them for you, but you should be prepared for the cost.”

Zhang Chao was thrilled upon receiving Su Jinyuan’s call. At this critical moment, who cares about the price? Even a four or five times higher price would be acceptable.

This matter was a matter of life and death. If the raw materials problem wasn’t solved, the company would face bankruptcy, and many employees would lose their jobs.

Compared to these consequences, a high price was nothing. If they didn’t act now, soon, not even ten or twenty times the price would secure the goods.

”Price is not an issue. Just get me the goods, no matter how much!”

Zhang Chao urged, not knowing that Huo Sining had over ten tons of Olive Fragrance Resin, which gave her the bravery to make such a promise.

Su Jinyuan also didn’t know how much Huo Sining had, so he had to respond: ”I’ll get you five hundred pounds first. Prepare the money, and I’ll notify you as soon as I have confirmation.”

”Okay!” Zhang Chao immediately agreed, not doubting the authenticity of Su Jinyuan’s words.

Zhang Chao and Su Jinyuan had known each other for a long time, and he knew Su Jinyuan had backing from Secretary Su. It wasn’t surprising that he could source the goods.

He knew if Su Jinyuan wasn’t confident, he wouldn’t make the call. Since he guaranteed it, he must have a way to get the goods.

Even though five hundred pounds wasn’t a huge amount, it would be enough for the year’s supply. As long as they could get this batch of balsam, the company wouldn’t fear going bankrupt. Hearing this from Su Jinyuan, Zhang Chao finally relaxed his nerves.

He didn’t ask where Su Jinyuan would get the goods, knowing even if he asked, Su Jinyuan wouldn’t tell him.

While Zhang Chao relaxed, Jin Rui was nervous and anxious.

He had spent the whole night online trying to probe the person who posted about having the goods. He couldn’t tell whether the post was genuine or not.

Maybe the other person sensed his suspicion, so they claimed they had a legitimate company and were not scammers. Finally, they even provided an address for him to visit and verify the goods before discussing the price.

What surprised Jin Rui was that the address provided was in Antique Street near Chenghuang Temple in S City. This both shocked and delighted him. Since the person was in the same city, verifying the truth would be much simpler.

Seeing the other person’s straightforwardness without a hint of suspicion, Jin Rui was seventy to eighty percent convinced. After a night of convincing himself, early in the morning, he went to the provided address.

However, upon finding the place, he was shocked to see that the sign didn’t read ”Fragrance Beauty Raw Material Company” but ”Guan Yu Beauty Studio.”

Not only was the sign wrong, but upon entering the store, Jin Rui found that it sold jade and gem jewelry, completely unrelated to the balsam raw materials he sought.

Had he gotten the wrong address?

Jin Rui couldn’t believe it and double-checked several times, even asking the neighboring stores. He confirmed that the Guan Yu Beauty Studio’s address matched the one given by the online contact exactly.

This realization made Jin Rui’s heart sink. His sister had been right; the poster was indeed a scammer. He had been duped!

Furious, Jin Rui, without hesitation, pulled out his phone to text the scammer:

”Scammer, if I see you again, I’ll beat you every time!”

Just as Huo Sining finished a class, she received a call from Su Jinyuan, informing her that the paperwork was done.

Surprised, Huo Sining checked the time. It wasn’t even ten o’clock. The Commerce Bureau had only been open for less than an hour. Secretary Lin’s efficiency was incredible!

Of course, the faster the better for her, so she immediately said she would go to Su Group’s Donghua to pick up the documents.

Just after she hung up the call, her phone buzzed with a new message. Seeing the word ”scammer” in the text, Huo Sining couldn’t help but laugh, her lips twitching. She decided to call back.

Having sent the angry text, Jin Rui still felt unsatisfied and was about to block the scammer’s number.

Before he could act, the scammer called.

Jin Rui was flustered, thinking the scammer was enraged by his insult and was calling in fury.

Imagining a furious man about to lash out on the phone, Jin Rui coldly chuckled, answered the call, and preemptively took the offensive:

”I’m right here at Guan Yu Beauty Studio. Where is your Fragrance Beauty Raw Material Company?! Scammer, I dare you to play more tricks!”
