Reborn As Super Heiress

Chapter 844: Chapter 840: Misunderstood the Situation

On the other side, Huo Sining had just finished a call with Wu Jun. She learned that he had already met up with Yan En and was preparing to go to the Xishuangbanna Tourism Bureau. She felt half relieved. Hanging up the phone and turning around, she saw Jin Kaili and a few others discussing something quietly nearby.

”You must be Mr. Jin’s sister, Ms. Jin, right?” Huo Sining asked with a smile.

Jin Kaili was standing inside the shop, unaware of Huo Sining’s identity. But seeing Su Jinyuan standing next to Huo Sining, Jin Kaili naturally assumed that Huo Sining was an employee of Su Group’s Donghua and was representing Su Jinyuan in the negotiations.

Therefore, hearing Huo Sining’s question, she did not show any disdain but smiled and extended her hand towards the three of them, saying, ”I am the general manager of Jinrui Company. My name is Jin Kaili.”

Though she was introducing herself, Jin Kaili was actually speaking to Su Jinyuan. Her gaze fell on Su Jinyuan, and she revealed what she believed to be a charming smile, even winking at him, using an extremely flirtatious look.

One had to admit that Jin Kaili, being in the perfume business and a general manager, had an outstanding presence. Her sensitivity to the fashion industry made her exude the air of a truly elegant woman, and at first glance, she indeed seemed like a graceful beauty.

However, Su Jinyuan had seen many such women, especially those like Jin Kaili who had a calculated look in their eyes while making these moves. Her intentions were too obvious, and Su Jinyuan saw through her instantly.

Seeing Jin Kaili’s behavior, a deep sense of ridicule flashed in Su Jinyuan’s eyes. He completely ignored the hand Jin Kaili extended.

Nearby, Su Jinyuan’s legitimate girlfriend, Bai Yishan, was also somewhat displeased. Anyone would be upset if someone blatantly tried to seduce their man in their presence.

However, considering that this person might be a potential business partner of Huo Sining, Bai Yishan didn’t want to disrupt Huo Sining’s plans. She suppressed her displeasure and shot a cold glance at Jin Kaili before turning away to attend to the shop’s business.

Jin Kaili’s smile faltered when she realized Su Jinyuan was ignoring her, and the atmosphere became slightly awkward.

Noticing Jin Kaili’s awkwardness, Huo Sining quickly extended her hand and lightly shook Jin Kaili’s, saying with a smile, ”Hello, Ms. Jin, I’m Huo Sining. You look truly fashionable and elegant, a real eye-opener!”

Su Jinyuan’s personality was such that he didn’t bother with people he wasn’t interested in. But Huo Sining was different. Jin Kaili was a potential client she had painstakingly attracted through her posts. She couldn’t afford to let her go without even checking out the goods.

Seeing Su Jinyuan’s lack of cooperation, Huo Sining couldn’t help but shoot a glare at him.

Feeling helpless, Su Jinyuan raised his hands in a conciliatory gesture, signaling for Huo Sining to handle it herself and that he wouldn’t interfere.

He then turned to appease Bai Yishan.

Jin Kaili was a career woman and had seen every type of situation. She knew Su Family members were not to be trifled with, so Su Jinyuan’s lukewarm attitude didn’t surprise her.

Jin Kaili secretly regretted it. Her habitual professional charm might work with other partners but seemed ineffective here.

She was about to change her approach with Su Jinyuan when she noticed the interaction between Huo Sining and Su Jinyuan.

Knowing Su Jinyuan was the mysterious eldest son of the Su Family, she was shocked by Huo Sining’s familiarity with him. Curiosity about Huo Sining’s identity grew—what was her relationship with the Su Family?

Despite her suspicions, Jin Kaili extended her hand to shake Huo Sining’s, feigning curiosity, ”Miss Huo, you seem to have a good relationship with Mr. Su?”

Seeing through Jin Kaili’s inquisitiveness, Huo Sining thought revealing too much due to one sentence would be foolish.

”You’re here for the balsam, right, Ms. Jin? My relationship with Mr. Su isn’t relevant to our business deal,” Huo Sining answered.

Anxious to close the deal, Huo Sining didn’t want to delay at Crown Jade Beauty. Though she sensed Jin Kaili’s probing glance, she pretended not to notice and smiled.

”I’ve discussed the details with Mr. Jin, and he should have reported to you. If there are no objections, we can go see the goods. How about that?”

Jin Kaili was taken aback by Huo Sining’s words, realizing she might have misunderstood the situation.

Thinking she misheard, Jin Kaili confirmed, ”Miss Huo, you’re not an employee of Su Group’s Donghua?”

Feigning confusion, Huo Sining replied, ”Ms. Jin, your question is odd. What made you think I was an employee of Su Group’s Donghua? I’ve never said that, have I?”

Jin Kaili’s smile stiffened. She glanced at Su Jinyuan, who was coaxing his girlfriend, clearly not focusing on their conversation.

Understanding the situation, it was clear Su Jinyuan and Huo Sining were just acquaintances, with no direct link to the balsam deal. The misunderstanding stemmed from her overthinking.

Feeling a bit embarrassed, Jin Kaili said, ”I’m sorry, Miss Huo, for not understanding the situation. I have no objections to the cooperation. If you don’t mind, let’s check the goods and then sign the contract. How about that?”

Smiling, Huo Sining nodded, ”No problem. The goods aren’t here; they’re elsewhere. Please follow me.”

Huo Sining hadn’t rented a warehouse, but it didn’t matter; she only needed a temporary place. A truck would suffice.

Xianyu Shop’s small truck was parked in the back alley. Wu Jun had gone to Yun Province, but the keys were still in the shop. All she needed was to fetch them.

The truck’s capacity wasn’t large, but it could easily hold up to five tons. Huo Sining planned to bring Jin Kaili and her associates to Xianyu Shop, then find an excuse to load the goods onto the truck and lead them to the back alley. This way, the operation would go smoothly without catching her off-guard.
