The Ace Bigshot Becomes A Farmgirl

Aunt Hong and Ms. Yu gasped sharply after hearing him speak so casually.

What did they just hear? Resign from office??

”Are you crazy?” Ms. Yu’s voice suddenly rose high, ”You’ve become the top scorer, what are you going to do if you don’t become an official?”

Ms. Yu wished she could grab her hair, eager to knock some sense into Meng Yunzheng’s head to see what he’s really thinking.

Aunt Hong frowned, gave her a little hit, ”What kind of talk is that?” What do you mean crazy?

Ms. Yu opened her mouth, she just couldn’t understand it.

Aunt Hong, on the other hand, thought more deeply, she suspected Meng Yunzheng was targeted by someone, ”Did you encounter any trouble?”

Meng Yunzheng laughed, ”No trouble at all. This matter actually happened a few days ago, maybe you haven’t heard the news yet. I’m planning to go back and open a book academy, don’t worry, this plan is supported by the emperor. He’s even introduced a teacher to me.”

”That’s good, no trouble encountered.” Hearing the emperor didn’t blame him, Aunt Hong felt much relieved.

She saw Ms. Yu still wanted to say something and quickly glared at her twice, ”Enough, go on and get busy, we have more to discuss here.”

Ms. Yu wanted to stay and listen, knowing the identity of the two in front of her, she was reluctant to leave.

Aunt Hong didn’t indulge her whims, directly pushing her out.

Once the door was closed, Aunt Hong finally realized the intention of Meng Yunzheng and the others coming to bid farewell, feeling a bit unwilling.

She sighed, ”Leaving tomorrow? Can’t you stay a few more days?”

She wasn’t mentally prepared at all.

Meng Yunzheng and Shu Yu exchanged a glance, before they could answer, Little Song Le said, ”Uncle and Aunt are rushing back for their marriage, if they delay a few days, they won’t make it in time.”

Aunt Hong was stunned, hurriedly said, ”A wedding is a major event, it can’t be delayed.” She touched Little Song Le’s head, ”I’m just reluctant to see you go.”

Shu Yu thought for a moment, then said, ”Aunt, why don’t you come with us back to Dongan Province?”

Aunt Hong sharply lifted her head, then shook it with a smile, ”That’s not right, my home is in the capital after all, I have children here. When I sent Lele over back then, it was already a stretch; how can I follow and cause trouble?”

Shu Yu smiled, ”I meant to invite Aunt to attend our wedding. This time we’re returning with a few friends from the capital, they’ll head back after the wedding, then Aunt can return with them.”

”This...”

”Doesn’t Aunt want to see where Lele lives now? Besides, Dongan Province and the capital have entirely different scenery. Aunt is strong and healthy now, it’d be good to go out and see.”

Aunt Hong looked at Little Song Le’s bright and hopeful eyes, her heart racing.

”Wouldn’t it be a bother to all of you?”

”Not at all, though on the journey we might need Aunt to help with the kids. Including Lele, we’ll have three little ones traveling together.”

Little Song Le immediately lifted his head to refute, ”I’m an adult now, I can help take care of Little Huohuo.”

Shu Yu raised his brow, ”Then I must trouble you? Great, Song Le the big kid?”

”Yes.” The little guy puffed his chest, nodding heavily, with the milk shake on his chubby face trembling slightly.

Aunt Hong was amused by his serious look. If it weren’t for Gouwa’s current good life, how could he be this cheerful?
