The Ace Bigshot Becomes A Farmgirl

Chapter 1557: Chapter 1557: The Staff Hired Is An Letian

Returning to the prefecture again, it was already four days later.

A week later will be the opening day, and Shu Yu will probably stay in the prefecture these days, so this time she brought quite a lot of things to the prefecture.

She carefully packed the promotional poster in a tube, afraid of getting it dirty or damaged.

The hiring process for staff at Lu’s Shop has also concluded.

To Shu Yu’s surprise, the person turned out to be An Letian.

Shu Yu thought of what Yiping had said to her and was indeed curious about why Manager Wei chose him.

However, before she could ask, Wei Ronghua came over to report the situation of the past few days, including the reason for hiring An Letian as staff.

”An Letian is perceptive, diligent, and well-behaved, and he is literate. Frankly, when I inquired about his conditions at the time, I was indeed very satisfied with him.”

But as Yiping mentioned, An Letian is not a local, and his background is unclear.

However, nothing is absolute. For someone capable and suitable, Wei Ronghua does not mind taking some time for a preliminary understanding.

He actually has several candidates in mind, but after the interview that day, he did not disclose any information and simply sent everyone home.

During this time, he learned about the situation of these people.

An Letian, indeed, came to the prefecture two years ago. His father was being treated at the Renxin Clinic, the same one often visited by Ah Ning, where Doctor Xie works. This information is not hard to find out, especially since the treatment has lasted so long.

Father An passed away two months ago.

After An Letian properly buried his father, he returned to the prefecture a month ago.

He actually wants to find a stable job, but previously he had to care for his sick father, making it difficult. Now, he is still searching, but in these times, labor is cheap, and a slightly better long-term job will be quickly seized.

An Letian is a good candidate for Wei Ronghua, though others may not see him the same way.

So he continues to do short-term jobs here and there, but he is diligent and quick at work, so there is never a shortage of short-term work. Those who hire him find him very cost-effective.

Wei Ronghua found this amusing, ”Actually, before truly deciding on a candidate, many people came to find me, both openly and in secret. Some even approached Fangfang, and Yiping encountered quite a few. Surprisingly, some of them were indeed sent by other merchants.”

Seeing these people so anxious, it seemed like not entering Lu’s Shop was a huge mistake for them.

Contrarily, An Letian, after finishing the interview, continued to pursue his business, maintaining a calm attitude about whether he could get into Lu’s Shop.

”Boss, I want to bring this person in and test his performance. If he does well, he definitely won’t stop here in the future.”

Shu Yu asked him, ”Did you talk to him?”

”Yes, he speaks with substance, has clear goals, and is cheerful yet not reckless.” Although he grew up in the mountains, his horizons and sense of the big picture, polished during his two years in the prefecture, already surpass many people.

A person like him would not have a narrow vision and allow himself to be bribed and sent here as a small undercover to ruin himself.

Shu Yu smiled and said, ”Alright, if you think he’s suitable, then he is. After all, you’ll be the one managing him in the future.”

She could see it; Wei Ronghua was very satisfied with both Yiping and An Letian and seemed intent on cultivating their abilities to stand on their own.
