Super Rich by Doing as You Please

Lin Wanzhou laughed. ”You’d better drive it yourself. A wild hog like me has no taste for such fine feed.”

”...”

Xu Yun was speechless. ”Alright, then. I’ll text you an address in a bit.”

After hanging up, Xino asked, ”Brother Lin?”

”Yeah. He said he wants to return my car.”

Xu Yun couldn’t help but laugh. ”I was nice enough to lend it to him, and after he’s done with it, he complains.”

”He says he can’t handle it, and it even scrapes the ground. A guy who’s used to off-roaders probably isn’t comfortable in it.”

”Come on, let’s stop playing too.”

Xu Yun put down his club and said, ”Let’s go get a drink, take a break, and wait for him.”

”Okay.”

At the same time, the system’s voice sounded in his head again.

[’Faced with the little cutie’s brainless provocation, the Host did not coddle him. You chose to Do as You Please and landed two hard slaps, greatly improving your mood. Reward: 10,000,000 in cash.’]

[’Current Account Balance: 1.02 Billion’]

...

After Xu Yun and Xino changed their clothes, they each ordered a cup of coffee in the club’s lounge. They hadn’t been drinking for long when Lin Wanzhou arrived.

He also brought his sweetheart with him.

When Xu Yun saw her for the first time, he could only think that she wasn’t as beautiful as he had imagined—a far cry from how Lin Wanzhou had hyped her up.

’Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I guess.’

However, she was by no means plain. Her looks were well above average, surpassing many others.

The only reason Xu Yun thought she was just okay was that he was comparing her to the women in his own life!

Lin Wanzhou introduced them to Wang Yurou. ”This is Xu Yun, and this is his girlfriend, Xino.”

”It’s nice to meet you both.”

Wang Yurou smiled and introduced herself politely. ”I’m a friend of Brother Lin. My name is Wang Yurou.”

”A pleasure, sister-in-law,”

Xino said in greeting.

The moment she used the term ”sister-in-law,” Wang Yurou didn’t even have a chance to get flustered before Lin Wanzhou did.

He quickly said, ”I told you, we’re friends! Don’t just call her that.”

”A slip of the tongue, a slip of the tongue.”

Xino said with a deliberate laugh, ”My mistake. I just assumed Sister Yurou was your girlfriend, Brother Lin.”

”It’s alright.”

Xu Yun twisted the knife. ”I’m sure she will be soon. Old Lin here has had his eye on her for a year or two now.”

”...”

Hearing this, Lin Wanzhou’s face instantly flushed red. He shot Xu Yun an embarrassed, angry glare, then turned to Wang Yurou to explain. ”Don’t listen to his nonsense. He’s never serious and just likes to joke around.”

Wang Yurou was speechless.

Afraid of what Xu Yun might say next, Lin Wanzhou immediately shoved the car keys into his hand. ”Here are your keys. We’re leaving.”

”Don’t go,”

Xu Yun grabbed him and said, ”Since you’re already here, and Yu Rou has had such a long drive, you should stay and get some rest.

There’s an essential oil spa and wellness center upstairs. Xino can take her to experience it, get a massage, and properly relax.

Then, we can all have dinner together tonight. It can be a proper welcome for her, and I can play the part of a good host.”

”That’s right! The technicians upstairs are all professionals. They’re really good.”

Xino immediately reached out and took Wang Yurou by the hand. ”Come on, Sister Yurou, I’ll take you.”

Wang Yurou looked toward Lin Wanzhou, clearly asking for his opinion.

”Go on, it’s fine.”

Lin Wanzhou said, ”They’re very good friends of mine.”

After the two women went upstairs, Xu Yun and Lin Wanzhou went to the wellness center on the other side for foot massages.

As Diamond members, Xu Yun and Xino weren’t charged.

However, Wang Yurou and Lin Wanzhou’s services would incur an extra fee.

But these expenses were all put on Xu Yun’s membership account, to be settled upon departure.

「In another villa.」

After a quick trip to the hospital to treat his red, swollen face, Su Zhi’an returned home.

When Jiang Xueqi saw the miserable state her son was in, her heart ached so much she burst into tears. She continued to wail to her husband about her son’s tragic ordeal.

She then pinned the blame for the whole incident on Su Mu.

”Darling, what gives that Xu Yun the right to bully our son like this? How dare he attack someone so brazenly!”

Jiang Xueqi sobbed, ”I think Su Mu put him up to it! Look at what that man did to our son’s face!

What’s worse, he actually forced Zhi’an to kneel to him in public!

He’s disrespecting you! He’s disrespecting our entire Su Family!”

”That’s right, Dad! I’m calling the police.”

Su Zhi’an mumbled through his swollen cheeks, his words slurred, ”I’m going to make sure that Xu Yun gets thrown in jail.”

”Your sister was there at the time?”

the man in the wheelchair asked angrily. ”And she didn’t help you?”

”She’s been brainwashed by that Xu Yun. She can’t see reason.”

Su Zhi’an said, ”I was being humiliated like that, and when she showed up, not only did she refuse to help me, she told me to just take it!”

”That’s right. Su Mu even called me just now and threatened me, telling us not to call the police,”

Jiang Xueqi added, her voice full of grievance. ”She said that if we dare call the police on that Xu Yun, she’ll kick Zhi’an out of the company and throw the two of us out on the street.”

”That damn brat! This is absolute defiance!”

The man slammed his hand on his wheelchair in a fury. ”Call her! Call her and get her back here right now! We’ll see who really runs this family.”

”Darling, don’t get angry. Your health is already so fragile.”

Jiang Xueqi immediately went to comfort him for a moment before turning to her son. ”Go on, call your sister. Tell her to come home.”

”Okay.”

But Su Mu had already anticipated this scene.

Just as Su Zhi’an picked up his phone, the door opened.

She walked in, sat down before the middle-aged man, and said, ”No need to call. I’m back. Dad, if you have something you want to say, say it now. I’m listening.”
