Super Rich by Doing as You Please

Visits here were unlimited throughout the year, and the membership wasn’t restricted to the cardholder.

In other words, others could use his card.

But only one person at a time!

Furthermore, all of the club’s facilities, services, drinks, and alcoholic beverages were free.

It also came with a private changing room and a personal locker.

After changing, Xu Yun casually picked a club from his personal rack and went to the course to meet up with Xino.

”Wow, you look so handsome in that outfit!”

Xino swooned at the sight of Xu Yun in his sportswear and a baseball cap. ”I really hit the jackpot!” she said.

”You’re exaggerating.”

Xu Yun rolled his eyes at her. ”Let’s just play. You go first, I’m not very good.”

”Mr. Xu.”

A dedicated attendant nearby reminded him, ”We have professional coaches here. Would you like me to call one for you? There’s no extra charge.”

”No, thank you.”

Xu Yun said, ”You don’t have to stay with us, either. We’ll be playing for a bit.”

”Of course, Mr. Xu, Miss Xi. Just call me if you need anything.”

Every guest had different preferences. Some liked having an attendant on hand at all times, while others didn’t.

They always tailored their service to the guest’s needs.

However, for regular members, a dedicated attendant would have been an additional charge.

After the attendant left, Xino asked doubtfully, ”You really don’t know how to play?”

”Not at all.”

Xu Yun smiled. ”Why don’t you teach me?”

”I’m not very good myself, but I can probably teach you the basics. Hahaha...”

Xino led Xu Yun to the driving range. ”Let’s practice our swings here first,” she said. ”There’s only one goal: hit the ball as far as you can.

Let me show you how it’s done.”

With that, she stood in front of the ball and got into her stance.

She brought the club back and swung!

”THWACK!”

The little white ball shot forward.

It didn’t seem to go very far, though.

Xino watched her ball, then turned back, a little embarrassed. ”It’s been a while, so I’m a bit rusty. I didn’t hit that well. You’re not allowed to laugh.”

”I don’t even know how to play. Why would I laugh at you?”

Xino asked, ”Well, want to give it a try?”

”Sure, I’ll give it a shot.”

Xu Yun picked up his club and stepped up to the tee, where a ball had been automatically set. He mimicked Xino’s stance, spreading his feet slightly, gripping the club with both hands, bending at the waist, and taking a deep breath.

Then, he swung with all his might!

And completely whiffed.

Xu Yun: ”...”

Seeing this, Xino burst out laughing. ”Okay, now I really believe you’ve never played before,” she giggled. ”You look exactly like I did my first time.”

”If you don’t know how to play golf, you shouldn’t come here and embarrass yourself.”

Suddenly, a grating voice cut in from nearby.

Xu Yun frowned and turned to look.

Two men were walking toward them.

One of them, a man slightly younger than Xu Yun, strode forward.

He was staring at Xu Yun with a mocking expression. ”What are you looking at? I’m talking to you.”

”What’s your problem?”

Xino immediately bristled. She stepped forward and said, ”Whether we can play or not is none of your business. Apologize, now.”

”Pretty lady, was I wrong?”

The young man said with a sneer, ”He probably got in using someone else’s membership card.

Otherwise, how could someone like him possibly get in here?”

”I don’t think we’ve met, have we, pal?”

For the first time, Xu Yun felt such targeted malice from a complete stranger.

”We haven’t.”

”Then do we have some kind of grudge?”

”No.”

Xu Yun was speechless. ”Then why the hell are you playing the part of some moronic villain, coming over here to provoke me for no reason?”

”So what if I’m provoking you?”

The young man said, ”I just can’t stand guys like you who live off a woman and still fool around with others!”

”???”

Xu Yun frowned. ”You must have me confused with someone else.”

”No, I don’t! I’m talking about you, Xu Yun!”

The young man continued, ”Don’t think you’re some rich guy just because you latched onto my sister, you hick!”

”Your sister?”

Xu Yun immediately thought of someone and asked tentatively, ”Are you Su Mu’s brother?”

”So you do know who I am!”

Hearing this, Su Zhi’an sneered. ”Believe it or not, I can send a picture of you messing around with another woman to my sister right now.”

’How fucking melodramatic...’

Xu Yun muttered inwardly, looking at this little charmer like he was a complete idiot.

He finally sighed and said magnanimously, ”For your sister’s sake, if you apologize and get lost now, I’ll let this go.

Otherwise, I don’t mind teaching you a lesson in manners on your sister’s behalf.”

”Teach me a lesson? You’ve got a lot of nerve.”

Su Zhi’an taunted, ”If you’ve got the guts, then come and hit me.”

Earlier today, after signing a financing and equity transfer agreement with President Ma, they had arranged to play some golf and then have dinner together in the evening.

Who would have thought that as soon as he arrived, he’d run into his sister’s boyfriend.

And there he was, playing golf with a rather pretty woman, acting all intimate.

In his eyes, this nobody—who just a few months ago was a lowly employee at his cousin’s company—had somehow gotten together with his sister and now actually thought he was a rich man.

His relationship with Su Mu had already been strained recently.

So now, running into her boyfriend, he was naturally in no mood to be pleasant. He couldn’t resist throwing a few taunts to vent his frustration and humiliate the guy in front of his female companion.

’A guy like Xu Yun would probably just take the insults and swallow his pride.’

’He wouldn’t actually dare to hit me, would he?’

Xu Yun truly hadn’t expected Su Mu to have a brother like this.

”SMACK!”

He didn’t hesitate, just raised his hand and landed a powerful slap right across the man’s face!

He’d only used fifty percent of his strength.

But even so, Su Zhi’an’s face immediately flushed red and began to swell.

It happened so fast that for a moment, no one could react.

Su Zhi’an was stunned.

President Ma was also stunned.

Xino was stunned.

Clutching his stinging face, Su Zhi’an roared, ”You dare hit me?”

Xu Yun spread his hands. ”Everyone heard you. You told me to do it.”

”You fucker...”

Humiliated and enraged, Su Zhi’an lunged at Xu Yun.

But who was Xu Yun?

Empowered by the System, he was a man who had once gone toe-to-toe with a Grandmaster Level Wing Chun expert from Hong Kong Island. His martial arts skills were far beyond those of any normal person.

So he moved faster. The moment the thought to attack crossed Su Zhi’an’s mind, Xu Yun landed another heavy slap on the other side of his face.

This time, Xu Yun used seventy percent of his strength, hitting him so hard he lost his balance, stumbled, and fell to the ground, head spinning.

Blood was even pouring from his nose!

Everyone: ”...”

Seeing this, a frightened Xino worriedly asked from the sidelines, ”Xu Yun, is he going to be okay?”

”Don’t worry, I know what I’m doing.”

Sprawled on the ground, Su Zhi’an whimpered, both cowardly and aggrieved, ”Call the police! I’m calling the police! President Ma, quick, call the police for me!”

Xu Yun turned his gaze to President Ma.

President Ma, after all, was a middle-aged man, not an impetuous brat like Su Zhi’an.

Although he was secretly working with Su Mu to swindle Su Zhi’an, on the surface, they were still business partners. It wasn’t time to drop the facade.

He bent down to help Su Zhi’an up and said, ”My friend, it was wrong of you to strike him.”

”This is my family’s business. Stay out of it.”

Xu Yun gave him no face whatsoever, stating coldly, ”Su Mu is my woman, which makes me his future brother-in-law.

Is there a problem with a brother-in-law teaching his disobedient younger brother-in-law a lesson?”

President Ma: ”...”

Hearing this, Su Zhi’an immediately retorted tearfully, ”Who said you’re my brother-in-law? My family...”

Xu Yun’s eyes widened in a glare as he raised the golf club in his hand.

Seeing this, Su Zhi’an immediately shut his mouth.

Just then, the golf club’s staff noticed the commotion and hurried over to handle the situation.

A manager arrived on the scene.

He arrived, took in the scene at a glance, and turned to Xu Yun. ”Mr. Xu, is this...?”

”It’s a family matter. You don’t need to get involved.”

”Ah, of course.”

The club manager glanced at Su Zhi’an. He looked like he’d been beaten pretty badly, but fortunately, it all seemed to be superficial injuries. Nothing serious.

Besides, since Mr. Xu himself had said it was a family matter, the manager couldn’t very well say anything more.

’I’ll just watch from the side and make sure things don’t escalate.’

”Fine, Xu! You win today. Just you wait.”

Discretion is the better part of valor. Su Zhi’an planned to slip away first and then call the police!

He swore he wouldn’t let him get away with what happened today, with this humiliation.

But he had only taken a few steps before Xu Yun blocked his path. ”Did I say you could leave?”

”What do you mean?”

Xu Yun casually brandished the golf club in his hand and said nonchalantly, ”Go over there and kneel. Wait for your sister to come and get you.”

Su Zhi’an: ”...”
