Apocalypse: Master of Soul Beasts

Chapter 522: Chapter 100: This Matter Isn’t Over! _1

After Victor dispatched the Spider Demon Hunter in the blink of an eye, he stood still for a while until the Demon Fiends began to roar and charge at him from a distance.

Driven by instinct, as if swatting a fly, Victor lightly swung his claws. Empowered by the rules of the Netherworld, five enormous claw marks tore through space. They rapidly swept in all directions, instantly wiping out the Low-grade Demon Fiends around him.

Only then did Victor regain his senses and send a Spiritual Fluctuation to Wen Yu in the distance.

”Wen Yu, it’s done.”

A few seconds later, Wen Yu sent back new orders. ”Get ready. I’m going to activate the 5th Soul Realm and bring you to me. Sneak up on those three Fire Demons and take them out. Then, we retreat.”

”We should kill them all!” Victor had a different opinion.

”Trust me, it won’t be over so simply!”

Hearing Wen Yu’s reply, Victor fell silent for a moment. ”Understood.”

Victor then slowly picked up the bow and arrows dropped by the dead Spider Demon Hunter, awaiting the imminent power of the Soul Realm’s Space Transfer.

After strategizing with Victor, Wen Yu revived his Pitch-dark World, which had been dispersed by the black flames. Simultaneously, his Dual Guns swiftly took out a nearby Middle Stage Level 5 Ancient Demon.

Not far away, Faceless delivered a Fierce Hit with his fists, smashing a Peak Level 5 Ancient Demon into pulp before being struck by another Ancient Demon and sent flying far away.

While Faceless was in mid-air, a multitude of skills rained down on him, adorning his body with numerous fresh wounds of varying sizes.

By now, Faceless was barely hanging on.

These Ancient Demons displayed none of the self-preservation or arrogance typical of high-ranking demons. Each one, as if high on drugs, crazily pounced at Wen Yu and Faceless. They sought to leave even a minuscule wound on their targets, even if it meant sacrificing themselves.

Under the unyielding interception of these Ancient Demon Battalions, Wen Yu and Faceless were momentarily pushed into a somewhat disadvantaged position.

Judging from the current state of the battle, the Demon Tribe’s ”Demon Clan Evil Dogs gnawing at a tiger” tactic had taken effect—if Victor had been held up by the Spider Demon Hunter, Wen Yu could have been trapped and killed on the spot by the Ancient Demon Battalion.

Roaring dark Energy Fluctuations swept out in all directions, directly pushing dozens of Ancient Demons far away from Wen Yu.

The next second, Wen Yu decisively activated the 5th Soul Realm. With a flash of purple light, Victor silently appeared beside Wen Yu, then his form slowly faded as he turned invisible, floating toward the three Flame Sorcerers hiding in the rear.

While dealing with the continuous onslaught of Ancient Demons, Wen Yu kept part of his attention on Victor’s location. The skills of the three Fire Demons possessed the power to dispel Skill Effects, so Wen Yu worried this ability could dispel Victor’s Netherworld.

Luckily, the worst-case scenario did not happen. Currently, Shadow was SSS-Class, and the Netherworld was Esoteric Level. The black fire could dispel the Pitch-dark World but not the power of the Netherworld—the black fireballs of the three Fire Demons were likely SSS-Class skills.

In Wen Yu’s line of sight, several fireballs flew through the invisible and imperceptible Netherworld. However, they did not cause it to collapse. Under these circumstances, Victor effortlessly drifted to the side of the three Fire Demons.

BOOM!!!

Several thunderous explosions echoed throughout the battlefield, followed by surging waves of fire and heat.

The next second, Victor’s slightly weak voice came through, ”Done! These guys can self-destruct; they almost blew me up!”

Victor’s exhaustion was evident in his Spiritual Fluctuations—he must have been injured.

But with the healing effect of the Soul Realm space, such injuries were trivial. Wen Yu immediately drew the distant Victor into the Soul Realm space, then pulled back Cyclops and Faceless.

Wen Yu glanced at the Ancient Demon Battalions and Low-grade Demon Fiends swarming from all sides, a hideous smile creeping onto his lips.

3rd Soul Realm: Dragon Blood Amplification.

5th Soul Realm: Netherworld.

A more potent Pitch-dark World unfolded once again. Nearly a kilometer in diameter, it continuously rolled and roared. This time, no black fireballs could break through it.

This also meant that on this battlefield, Wen Yu had once again become an absolutely uncounterable entity!

In the distance, the Stone-throwing Giant, having lost its opponent, waved its arms and let out continuous, furious roars.

It casually threw a Giant Stone into the Pitch-dark World—an utterly useless gesture, likely just the Giant Beast’s way of venting its frustration.

The remaining Ancient Demon Battalion surrounding the Pitch-dark World immediately made a tactical response: retreat.

With the deaths of the three Flame Sorcerers and the Spider Demon Hunter, the Demon Tribe’s commander also realized that the situation was dire.

Not far away, the Pitch-dark World was continuously rolling and roaring. The screams of dying Demon Fiends occasionally echoed from within—sounds Wen Yu deliberately allowed the surrounding Demon Fiends to hear.

After a while, the noise slowly subsided, but the darkness of the Pitch-dark World remained undissipated.

This meant all the Demon Fiends enveloped by the Pitch-dark World, whether Level 5 Ancient Demons or low-level cannon fodder, had been completely wiped out!

The next moment, the Pitch-dark World slowly began to move.

Like a massive cloud of fog, the Pitch-dark World slowly floated into mid-air. Immediately after, countless emerald green vines spread from within it, ensnaring several hundred Demon Fiends in the vicinity and swiftly pulling them back into the Pitch-dark World.
