Naruto: Reborn as Konoha's Idol

Chapter 200: Chapter 201: The Brilliant Strategist ōnoki

”Master, please feel free to give me any orders. I will definitely work hard to complete them!”

The blue dragon seemed very excited. This was her first time being summoned outside, and she was clearly curious about the world beyond.

”Um, Little Blue, turn into your human form first. You’re too big like this; it’s inconvenient to talk.”

”Yes, Master!”

A flash of light erupted from the blue dragon, and she transformed into a dragon-horned loli maid with blue hair and golden eyes. She skipped across the water towards Kano, even managing to trip on the perfectly flat surface.

Little Blue scrambled up, rubbing her sore nose, then looked at Kano with a grin, her tail still wagging.

Kano facepalmed. Why did she summon such a clumsy, cute loli?

”Little Blue, do you know what other creatures my Summoning Jutsu can call besides you?”

Little Blue pressed a finger to her lips and looked up at the sky, thinking hard for a moment.

”Little Blue doesn’t know.”

”Then can I summon the Head Dragon Girl?”

”Big Sis? Of course you can.”

Kano nodded. In that case, she would try a targeted summoning of Big Sis next time. As the Head Dragon Girl, she must know a lot.

Why not summon her this time?

It was because she had used more than half of her Chakra just to summon Little Blue. There was no way her remaining Chakra would be enough to call Big Sis. She estimated that her total Chakra capacity might not even be enough to summon Big Sis; she might need to munch on soldier pills while doing it.

”I’ll ask about the details next time. Little Blue, first take me to find someone. He’s at this location right now.”

After saying that, Kano changed into her bodysuit, threw on the Akatsuki robe, and put on her Idol Cool-Cool-Cool glasses.

”Okay!” Little Blue jumped into the water and transformed into a giant dragon, leaving only her head exposed. ”Hold on tight, Master!”

Kano stood on the dragon’s head, gripping the horns to prepare for a high-speed surf.

”Let’s go!”

”Roger that!”

Little Blue dived into the water, moving at high speed with her agile body. She was very confident in her underwater speed; even Big Sis might not be faster than her!

”Stop, stop!”

Dragged into the deep sea in an instant, Kano hadn’t even had time to take a breath. She couldn’t breathe underwater, and entering the deep sea so suddenly nearly choked her to death. She hurriedly shouted with her last breath, pounding on Little Blue’s head.

Realizing her master on her back had run out of air, Little Blue suddenly remembered that her master was a human and couldn’t breathe underwater.

Fortunately, Little Blue reacted in time and brought Kano to the surface.

Soaking wet, Kano gasped for fresh air. Beside her, Little Blue transformed back into her maid form and apologized profusely.

”I’m sorry, Master! I didn’t do it on purpose! I’m so sorry, I didn’t realize you couldn’t breathe underwater!”

Kano hadn’t expected that her illustrious reputation would almost be ended by her own Summoning Beast.

”You really are an idiot!”

Kano pinched Little Blue’s cheeks and rubbed them vigorously.

”Sowwy!”

Kano gave her a lesson, finally teaching Little Blue how to transport someone across the water.

Afterward, Kano easily met up with Kakuzu.

”Lord Kakuzu, I’m here.”

”So you’re Kashi. You look really young.”

”I am young.” Kano sent Little Blue back first. ”I’m here to help you make money.”

”How’s your strength? This target is very strong, with at least two Jonin-level combatants. Even Hidan, with his immortality, was taken down.”

”My strength is considered upper-middle within the organization.”

”That’ll do. Keep up, and don’t drag me down.”

Kakuzu immediately started moving, preparing to run towards the Konoha ship. Shadow Deer Tube grabbed Kakuzu by the back of his collar and lifted him up like a little chick.

”First of all, I said I’m here to help you make money, but I never said I’m here to help you kill people. Secondly, you must follow my lead; you’re not allowed to attack the Konoha people. Otherwise, I wouldn’t mind killing you and finding a new teammate. Do you understand?”

”You dare speak to me like that? Do you want to die?”

Kakuzu’s hand began to elongate, preparing to take out the brat, but then a group of Shadow Ninjas emerged, releasing their Chakra.

”I asked if you understood. Are you deaf?”

The group of them scared Kakuzu so much he didn’t dare move.

Is this kid really this terrifying?!

”Understood.”

Having lived so many years, Kakuzu was no fool. He was confident he could win a one-on-one against one of these Shadow Ninjas, but two was uncertain, let alone at least three figures here he had no idea how to defeat.

Especially the one with the deer head holding a thick water pipe; the clock forehead protector on its head served as a reminder.

”Since you’re being sensible, let’s go kill the Tsuchikage, ōnoki, first. Oh, and let me ask you something: do you know who put out the bounty to kill the konoha songstress?”

The now-honest Kakuzu told her everything.

”It was the Tsuchikage, ōnoki, who placed the request.”

Kano was stunned for a moment, then she began to laugh.

She had originally thought that since they had no personal grudge, her conscience might hurt a bit from killing him just because his ability was useful. Now, her conscience didn’t hurt at all.
