Naruto: Reborn as Konoha's Idol

Chapter 170: Chapter 170: Taking Care of Children

”As the saying goes, ’haste makes waste,’ and’sharpening the axe doesn’t delay the woodcutting.’”

Kano sat on a Shadow Deer, directing the three children to build a cart. Starting from logging and processing wood, she taught them how to use mortise and tenon structures to assemble a cart without nails, and even explained how to design it for shock absorption to make it more comfortable.

”diva-sensei, can you help us?”

”Are you tired? Then take a short break. Let’s discuss the route forward together.”

Seeing the three little ones starting to complain, Kano let them rest. She pulled some snacks out of the shadows for them to eat and poured each of them a cup of tea.

”This is the preparation phase, so I will provide you with food and water. Once the action begins, you’ll have to find your own food and water.”

”Let’s discuss while we eat. Do you have any plans for the mission? They can be rough or even wild and imaginative.”

Seeing that the three children didn’t understand her meaning, Kano took the lead.

”I’ll give an example first. For instance, we could fly directly through the sky or something.”

”But we can’t fly?”

”That’s right, unless we know a Ninjutsu that allows flight or have a flying Summoning Beast.”

”We don’t have either. Do you know how, Sensei?”

”I don’t know how either. This is just proposing a method. No matter how incredible the method is, once it’s proposed, everyone will start thinking about whether it can be realized and how to achieve it.”

”Just like Rio-chan just now, she was great, considering two scenarios in which we could fly over.”

The blue-haired girl who was praised smiled blankly.

”So, regardless of whether it can be achieved, have a plan first, then consider its feasibility. Now, who wants to share their plan first?”

”Sensei, me!”

Seeing his companion being praised, Renta was also eager to try.

”Alright, Renta-kun, what’s your plan?”

”We can dig a tunnel!”

”A very good use of analogy, associating the ground with the sky. That’s a method. So, everyone, think about how we can achieve that?”

”We can use Earth Release...”

Kano accompanied them in their discussion until the snacks were finished.

”Alright, break time is over. Everyone is clear on the planned route. Let’s finish building the cart and get ready to hit the road.”
